Abstract

This research aims to investigate the integration of religious moderation in Arabic language learning at a state Islamic university. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data was gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The study emphasizes a tourism-based approach that incorporates local wisdom and pluralism into the Kalam course, aimed at enhancing students' Arabic communication skills. The findings indicate that embedding religious moderation within the Arabic curriculum promotes tolerance, inclusivity, and a moderate outlook among students, which, in turn, contributes to social and religious harmony in Indonesia. Additionally, the research highlights the importance of local cultural contexts in shaping student behavior. The study suggests further exploration of internal and external factors that influence the implementation of religious moderation in Arabic education at a state Islamic university. It also recommends adopting a mixed-method approach in future research to gain a deeper understanding of these dynamics and enhance the effectiveness of religious moderation efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of waqf testaments for sharia insurance policies. Based on the Fatwa DSN MUI variation 106/DSN-MUI/X/2016 concerning the Benefits of Waqf Insurance and Funding Benefits in Sharia Life Insurance, it is regulated that the challenge for assets that may be waqf is 45% while in Waqf law it is 1/3 of wealth or Syirkah. This study uses a qualitative technique by using a literature study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of waqf wills in sharia insurance policies has not been fully implemented and well controlled..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the intensive Arabic language training program at MTsN 6 Ponorogo, which includes the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. A qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was employed to portray the actual conditions in the field. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the planning stage of the training program comprises nine components: needs analysis, goal setting, budgeting, site selection, determination of materials and syllabus, activity design, and development of the evaluation model. The implementation stage is divided into two phases: pre-activity and core activity. Evaluation is conducted in two aspects: process evaluation and student learning outcome evaluation, which includes pre-tests, class assessments, and post-tests. This program is designed to enhance students’ proficiency in the four basic foreign language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The findings demonstrate that a well-structured and systematic training program can effectively support the improvement of students' Arabic language competence in a secondary education context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji transformasi peribahasa Madura sebagai simbol pendidikan karakter berkebudayaan yang mencakup lima aspek utama, yaitu religiusitas, kekerabatan, gotong royong, kemandirian, dan integritas. Selain itu, penelitian ini menelaah potensi peribahasa Madura sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam pendidikan karakter berkebudayaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, simak, dan catat. Data dianalisis dengan teknik padan referensial melalui tahapan klasifikasi, reduksi, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peribahasa Madura merefleksikan nilai-nilai karakter yang dapat dijadikan simbol budaya sekaligus pedoman dalam kehidupan, sehingga relevan sebagai media transformasi pendidikan karakter yang berbasis kearifan lokal.
