Abstract

the aim of the study is to identify the Arabic grammar based on  Nahu. Formerly, Basrah scholars focused on their study to determine Nahu and Arabic grammar. Although they agreed with Kufah group that hadits and word sayings of Arabic people can become references to in determining syntactical structure (grammar) of Arabic language. Thus, they  provide strong requirement to those references. Meanwhile the scholars made qiyas  as ijma` as Nahu regulations.  Copyright © 2015 by Al-Talim All right reserved

Abstract

Very relevant communicative approach used in language learning as one of the functions of language is to communicate. There are four communicative competence in language learning, namely grammatical competence, sociolinguistic competence, discourse analysis competence and strategic competence. The success of the communicative approach is determined by understanding the function of the language itself and the scope of the communication language.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate student perceptions of learning Arabic from the aspect of learning objectives and strategies for improving the Arabic language skills. This study uses a mixed approach with survey methods and qualitative design with data analysis techniques based on triangulation of data sources. The results show that the orientation of Arabic learners aims to study religion from the Qur'an and Sunnah as well as communication orientation, while the learning strategies they choose vary widely; improving listening skills through watching movies, listening to songs and lectures; speaking skills strategies include communicating collaboratively and practicing independently; reading skills strategies include reviewing readings, reading short stories, and Arabic news; writing skills strategies include writing intensive (imla’), answering questions. The findings reveal that, the first is integration of student achievements to master Arabic is a global need, where Arabic is a forum for international communication and the second is electric method can accelerate students' Arabic skills. This research is still limited to variables and discussion topics, so it recommends further research to measure the effectiveness of each strategy adopted by Arabic learners in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim  study was to develop connected model-based Arabic teaching materials at MTsN 1 Padang Pariaman. The research methodology used is Research and development (R&D). This development to internalize Islamic values by connecting prior Arabic material with verses of the Quran and Hadith. The development of prior Arabic language teaching materials by presenting verses of the Quran and Hadith in them is highly expected by students, an average overall need assessment score of 73.93% is obtained,. The results of the expert validation of this development product are 90.5% and the practicality test is also very practical 91.9%. Furthermore, trials were carried out on this development product and also obtained data that the use of this book was very effective with a score of sig (2-tailed) <0.05, which is 0. Therefore it can be concluded that the product of developing connected model based Arabic teaching materials is accepted Furthermore, the textbooks from this development can be disseminated to madrasahs in the vicinity.Keywords: Arabic  Materials, Connected Model, Product of Developing.

Abstract

الغرض من هذا البحث لمعرفة تأثير الطريقة التركيبية على مهارة القراءة لدى التلاميذ في المدرسة الابتدائية الإسلامية الحكومية الواحدة تاناه داتار. استخدم الباحث منهج شبه تجريبي مع تصميم مجموعة ضابطة غير معادلة. وكان المجتمع 457 طالبًا ، بينما تكونت العينة من 50 طالبًا مقسمين إلى مجموعتين ، و 25 طالبًا في المجموعة التجريبية تم تدريسهم باستخدام طريقة تركيبية و 25 طالبًافي المجموعة الضابطة الذين تم تعليمهم باستخدام الطريقة السمعية الشفهية. تم جمع البيانات عن طريق إجراء الاختبارات. بعد ذلك ، تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام اختبار t.  وأظهرت النتائج أن نتيجة to = 7.14 كانت أعلى من نتيجةt فى الجدول عند درجة 1٪ = 2.80، فالفرضة العدمية مردودة والفرضة التبادلية مقبولة. فالخلاصة أن الطريقة التركيبية تؤثر على مهارة القراءة إيجابيا في هذه المدرسة.This study aims  to determine the effect of synthesis method on students’ Arabic reading proficiency at MIN 1 Tanah Datar. Researchers used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design.The population was 457 students, while the sample consisted of 50 students divided into two groups, 25 students were in the experimental group who were taught using synthesis method and 25 other students were in the control group who were taught using the audio-lingual method. Data were collected by giving tests. Then, the data were analyzed using t test. The results showed that the value of to = 7.14 was higher than the t table at the degree of 1% = 2.80, so the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. As conclusion, the synthesis method could positively affect students' Arabic reading proficiency in this school.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Bahasa Arab mengalami kesulitan Ketika mempelajari al qawaid al asassiyah mata kuliah nahwu ini. Karena dalam satu kelas, terdapat keberagaman latar belakang Pendidikan. Ada yang dari SMA/SMK, MA, dan Pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang Pendidikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa Bahasa Arab dalam pembelajaran al qawaid al asassiyah di uin imam bonjol Padang dan solusinya bagi mahasiswa dan pengajar Ketika berhadapan dengan kesulitan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara latar belakang Pendidikan mahasiswa Bahasa Arab terhadap hasil belajar, ini dibuktikan dengan adanya nilai hasil akhir yang berbeda yaitu Rata-rata nilai akhir diperoleh alumni SMA 50, alumni MA 56,68 dan alumni pondok pesantren 61.49

Abstract

أما أهداف البحث هو لتحليل الاحتياجات المعلم والطلاب في الوسيلة التعليمية التفاعلية ، لتصميم الوسيلة التعليمية التفاعلية على أساس التفكير النقدي لطلاب قـسم تعلـيم اللغة العربية جامعة إمام بونجول الإسلامية الحكومية ببادانج. وأما المدخل في هذا البحث فهو المدخل التطويري. وأما في طريقة البحث التطويري توجد عدد نموذج. والنموذج المستعمل في هذا البحث هو لدي 4د. وطريقة جمع البيانات المستخدمة هي الاستبانة. أما نتيجة البحث فهي أن درجة احتياجات المعلم إلى الوسيلة التعليمية التفاعلية 95 %. واحتياجات الطلاب إلى الوسيلة التعليمية التفاعلية تصل إلى 44،90 %. وأما تصميم الوسيلة التعليمية التفاعلية يتكون على جمع المواد وكتابة المواد على الورق وتحول كتابة المواد إلى الصوت على منصة وصناعة الفيديوا التعليمية على التطبيق Plotagon وكتابة شبكة التدريبات وصناعة التدريبات على منصة Wordwall وتصميم الوسيلة على منصة Padlet. Abstract The research aims to analyze the needs of lecturers and students for interactive learning media, and to design interactive learning media based on higher -order thinking skills for students majoring in Arabic Language Education at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang. The research method used is research and development. There are several models for development research methods. The model used in this research is 4D. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and were analyzed by statistical calculations. The research results show that the level of teachers' need for interactive education methods is 95%. Students' need for interactive educational facilities reached 90.44%. The process of designing interactive learning media includes collecting teaching materials collected from semester learning plans, writing learning materials in Word, converting written teaching materials into sound using the platform text-to-speech platform, making videos of learning materials using the Plotagon application, makcreating exercises to measure student abilities using the platform Wordwall, and designing interactive learning media on the Padlet platform.

Abstract

Al-ashwat al-'Arabiyah as one of the language elements is important in foreign language learning, because the ability of ashwat becomes the basis and main foundation in learning other elements in the language. But in reality, students have difficulty in learning ashwat, therefore this study aims to analyse how the use of PAIKEM model in learning al-ashwat al-'arabiyyah. This research uses a qualitative approach with an ethnography design to analyse the effectiveness of PAIKEM implementation, student engagement, and learning outcomes achieved. Data were collected through classroom observation, in-depth interviews with students, and document analysis such as syllabus and lesson plans. The results showed that the implementation of PAIKEM significantly improved students' learning engagement and motivation. Students were more active in group discussions, simulations, and question and answer activities, which created a dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere. In addition, the use of varied learning media, such as videos, language games, interactive applications, and visual aids, helped students to understand the concept of Ashwat Al-Araby better. Students' academic scores also showed a significant improvement after the implementation of PAIKEM, with the average mid-semester exam score increasing. This study concludes that PAIKEM is an effective learning model to improve the learning quality of Ashwat al-Arabiy Science at STAI Darul Qur'an Payakumbuh. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for other educational institutions that want to adopt a similar approach.Keyword : Al-Ashwat al-'Arabiyyah, Learning, PAIKEM

Abstract

The educational background of students is an important domain for the success of learning nahwu, so that teachers need improvement in determining the learning to be applied. The PBL strategy requires students to observe and examine practice-based assignments on the object of study being studied, so this study aims to examine the effectiveness of Project based learning (PBL)-based nahwu learning at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang and how to implement PBL in nahwu learning. The research approach used was mixed method research with a quantitative sample of 35 students from two classes while data analysis used SPSS 16 and descriptive analysis based on observation and documentation. This study shows that learning nahwu using the PBL design is effective for students' cognitive understanding by calculating the t-test is greater than the t-table, while the implementation of PBL is based on needs analysis and practice searching for examples of sentences in the Qur'an. This study corroborates that learning nahwu using project based learning is able to increase cognitive understanding based on inductive techniques in tracing verses of the Qur'an. This study recommends further research to analyze nahwu learning strategies that are more varied with various samples and methods.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' listening skills through project-based learning and native speakers as learning resources in higher education. This research uses a mixed research design with a quantitative and qualitative approach to test the effectiveness of learning listening skills using project-based learning. This research used a sample of 71 students studying listening skills at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang in the Arabic Language Education study program. The research results show that; 1) The effectiveness of using project-based learning in listening shows a significant increase; 2) Listening skills using project-based learning are identified as including understanding in identifying sounds, words and sentences and students are able to produce the speech they listen to through elaboration of listening and speaking skills using digital platforms. This research confirms that the use of project-based learning can improve student skills with an average increase from 69.3 to 74.7. Meanwhile, the implication in learning to listen is increasing ability in vocabulary and mastery of Arabic sentences.
