Single sign-on (SSO) is a session authentication process that allows a user to login by using user registered identity and password in order to access appropriate applications. The authentication process takes the user in to login for all the applications they have been given rights to and eliminates further prompts when they switch applications during a particular session. Its implementation will provide a reduction of password burden to access many applications for every login process. Ease of access through a single account needs to be addressed carefully to ensure the authentication credentials that are not scattered and known by others. Currently, there are several open source SSO authentication methods available. However, the use of existing authentication methods is still vulnerable to attack, such as Man-In-The-Middle. In this study, SSO authentication algorithm using One-Time Password (OTP) is proposed using a combination of time synchronization and salt value. These combinations are used to verify user session while accessing any application with SSO mechanism. The results show that the proposed OTP algorithm can handle SSO authentication process in good fashion and also protect from Man-In-The-Middle Attack.

The emergence of Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) as part of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology development was expected to become an advanced method to solve the transportation system problem. The implementation of VANETs is expected to provide a new solution for traffic management strategy. Its main targets is to continue prioritizing traffic safety and to prevent the accidents on the roads. One of the VANETs problems before being implemented in the real world is the degree of freedom of the vehicle's mobility that limited by the road topologies. Various modellings and simulations have been performed to produce the most realistic mobility model. However, those models had become new paradigms due to various factors that limited them. The presence of the federated mobility model as an approach for traffic mobility modeling is considered to be able to provide more realistic and accurate VANETs simulation. Therefore, this article presents some brief reviews and contrast a number of the simulation and mobility models that have been used widely as compared to the federated mobility models that have developed until the present. The article's objective is to facilitate a better understanding of the traffic mobility modeling for the VANETs simulation that started from the interaction process until the integration between simulators. The understanding of the traffic mobility models will complement the knowledge that enable to perform the simulation of the VANETs implementation approaching the real conditions.

Wild boars pose a significant threat to cassava farmers in the Jantho Baru area, Aceh Besar district, as they can reduce agricultural productivity. The region's location in hilly terrain near a protected forest makes this challenge unavoidable. An initial assessment with farmer groups (partners) identified the need for a monitoring and protection system to manage wild boar infestations in cassava farms. The partner's land, situated 42 km from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala, spans 5 hectares in a hilly area adjacent to the protected forest. To address this issue, an IoT-based technology solution is proposed for monitoring and safeguarding cassava farms. This system includes video cameras that allow farmers to remotely monitor their land via smartphones. Additionally, security measures such as electric fences and speaker outputs, controlled through an Android-based mobile application, are implemented. The system is powered by renewable solar energy through the use of solar panels. The application of this technology is expected to reduce crop losses caused by wild boars, ultimately improving farm productivity.

In recent years, significant advancements in facial recognition technology have been marked by the prominent use of convolutional neural networks (CNN), particularly in identification applications. This study introduces a novel approach to face recognition by employing ResNet-50 in conjunction with the DeepLabV3 segmentation method. The primary focus of this research lies in the thorough analysis of ResNet-50's performance both without and with the integration of DeepLabV3+ segmentation, specifically in the context of datasets comprising faces of children on the autism spectrum (ASD). The utilization of DeepLabV3+ serves a dual purpose: firstly, to mitigate noise within the datasets, and secondly, to eliminate unnecessary features, ultimately enhancing overall accuracy. Initial results obtained from datasets without segmentation demonstrate a commendable accuracy of 83.7%. However, the integration of DeepLabV3+ yields a substantial improvement, with accuracy soaring to 85.9%. The success of DeepLabV3+ in effectively segmenting and reducing noise within the dataset underscores its pivotal role in refining facial recognition accuracy. In essence, this study underscores the pivotal role of DeepLabV3+ in the realm of facial recognition, showcasing its efficacy in reducing noise and eliminating extraneous features from datasets. The tangible outcome of increased accuracy of 85.9% post-segmentation lends credence to the assertion that DeepLabV3+ significantly contributes to refining the precision of facial recognition systems, particularly when dealing with datasets featuring faces of children on the autism spectrum.
