Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai respons terhadap kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa saat belajar bahasa Inggris, khususnya saat membaca teks narasi. Dalam hal ini, penulis ingin menyelidiki masalah ini lebih lanjut. Strategi SOAPS dapat digunakan untuk membantu siswa memahami ide-ide utama teks narasi atau untuk meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada dampak signifikan dari strategi SOAPS terhadap pemahaman membaca teks narasi siswa di sekolah Islam. SMA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. Hal ini juga berusaha untuk mengetahui pemahaman membaca siswa terhadap teks narasi yang diajarkan tanpa strategi SOAPS. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu. Data pemahaman membaca teks narasi siswa di SMA Islam Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru dikumpulkan oleh penulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan pre-test dan post-test. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 270 siswa. Hanya dua kelas dijadikan sampel oleh penulis karena besarnya populasi: XI IPA 1 (kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 29 siswa) dan XI IPA 2 (kelas kontrol yang juga berjumlah 29 siswa). Dengan demikian, sampel dari kedua kelas tersebut berjumlah 58 siswa. Dengan menggunakan SPSS 22.00, penulis menggunakan uji-t sampel independen untuk analisis data. Pada akhirnya, penulis menyimpulkan dari analisis rumus uji T bahwa pendekatan SOAPS mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman membaca teks narasi siswa di SMA Islam Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru, dimana Sig.2 Tailed = 0,000 kurang dari 0,05. Artinya Ho ditolak sedangkan Ha diterima.

Abstract

Dhemar Kambhang Batik is a typical batik from Sumenep Regency, Madura, which has a unique motif and deep philosophy, namely as a "lit lantern" which means the light of life. However, the lack of media information about batik means that it is not widely known by the public. This research aims to design information media based on observational documentary films to introduce Dhemar Kambhang Batik to the public. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle with stages: concept, design, material collection, design, testing and distribution. This documentary film directly involves batik owners and cultural observers in Sumenep to provide complete and accurate information. Test results on 50 respondents showed that this documentary film was very informative with a respondent satisfaction level of 3.4 (category "satisfied" or "good") and a success rate of 94%. Positive assessments were also given by cultural experts and film experts, who stated that the storyline, shooting techniques and delivery of information were good and easy to understand. With an observational approach, this film succeeds in presenting information about the history, manufacturing process and development of Dhemar Kambhang Batik in an interesting and informative manner.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui; (1) Implementasi Manajemen Kurikulum Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Di SMP IT Imam Syafii; (2) Untuk mengetahui pengorganisasian kurikulum seorang guru dalam pembelajaran SMP IT Imam Syafii; (3) Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kurikulum seorang guru dalam pembelajaran SMP IT Imam Syafii; (4) Untuk mengetahui penilaian/evaluasi kurikulum seorang guru dalam pembelajaran PAI (kompetensi dasar akhlak) di SMP IT Imam Syafii. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian penelitian kualitatif melalui analitic induction. Sumber data adalah guru teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu mereduksi pandangan dalam partisipan, mereduksi permasalahan, mereduksi issue yang ada pada penelitian; pengecekan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian: (1) Bahwa implementasi perencanaan kurikulum dalam pembelajaran PAI dengan pembuatan program tahunan, program semester, dan program harian; (2) Bahwa implementasi organisasi kurikulum dalam pembelajaran PAI dengan pembuatan RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) pada saat akan melakukan KBM; (3) Bahwa implementasi pelaksanaan kurikulum dalam pembelajaran PAI dengan mempersiapkan materi serta menguasainya, mengerti akan tujuan yang akan dicapai, pandai memilih media dan metode mengajar, serta mampu mengelola kelas dengan baik. Selain itu guru sebagai uswatun hasanah agar siswa juga memiliki akhlak yang baik; (4) Bahwa implementasi penilaian/evaluasi kurikulum dalam pembelajaran PAI dilakukan dengan memperhatikan 3 hal yaitu dari segi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor.

Abstract

Background: Aeng Tong-Tong Village in Sumenep Regency is widely recognized as a center for traditional kris craftsmanship. It is the only area in Indonesia with the largest number of kris masters (Empu), with approximately 600 practitioners officially acknowledged by UNESCO. Despite this cultural richness, the village still lacks a well-developed visual identity and information system, particularly in aspects such as directional signage, visual branding, and overall appeal to tourists and visitors. This community engagement initiative aims to design, enhance, and implement a strong visual identity for the Empu Keris, serving both as a means of cultural preservation and promotional media. Method: Methodology: The activities were carried out through several stages, including workshops on preservation and conservation techniques, digital marketing and visual promotion training, and a cultural festival culminating in the official unveiling of totem signage. These efforts were specifically directed at Through a strategic and collaborative design process, the program successfully produced visual elements that function as distinctive markers, helping visitors easily identify the kris artisans and masters in Aeng Tong-Tong Village. Conclusion: The installation of kris-shaped totem signage in Aeng Tong-Tong serves as a meaningful step toward strengthening the village’s visual identity as a cultural tourism destination, while actively preserving and honoring the ancestral heritage of the Indonesian archipelago.

Abstract

The IT Helpdesk application at PT Petrokimia Gresik faced significant challenges with the initial version (V1), which relied heavily on manual incident reporting. This led to delays and errors, especially in managing urgent issues for high-priority users, such as executives. To address these limitations, Helpdesk TI PKG V2 was developed, incorporating an automatic network failure detection feature. This enhanced version integrates Zabbix, an open-source network monitoring tool, to detect network issues like high latency, packet loss, and downtime in real-time, without requiring user input. When an anomaly is detected, Zabbix sends an alert to the Laravel-based backend system via webhook, where the issue is logged, and a helpdesk ticket is automatically created. Additionally, to ensure quick responses from the network support team, real-time notifications are sent to a Telegram group. This feature allows staff to receive alerts on their mobile devices, enabling faster action even when they are away from their desks. The integration of Telegram notifications ensures that network issues are promptly addressed, improving service continuity for critical users. The implementation of these features has significantly improved incident response times, reduced manual workload, and enhanced overall operational efficiency.

Abstract

Purpose: The goal of this study is to investigate the students’ life experience, the challenges and opportunities they undergo in English as Lingua Franca (ELF) communication, as well as the influence of these experiences on their confidence, motivation, and identity as English users. Methodology: This qualitative study explores EFL students’ perception of practicing English in real-time communication with international interlocutors during the video conference dialogues on global issues. Data were collected and triangulated from semi structured interviews with eight students as interviewees, observation notes compiled during the international video conference sessions, and students’ reflective writings. In analysing the data, thematic analysis was employed to identify the recurring patterns across the data sources. Results: The findings present that students viewed English as a primary tool for international communication rather than as an academic subject, prioritizing intelligibility and meaning-making over native-like norms and grammatical accuracy. The data also reveal that participants discover linguistic and intercultural difficulties, such as diverse accent variation, lack of academic vocabulary, speed of communication, and spontaneous responses. However, these existing challenges boosted the development of communicative strategies and willingness to communicate. Moreover, repeated participation in real-time international video conference contribute to gradual improvements in confidence, motivation, and sense of legitimacy as English users. Applications/Originality/Value: This study emphasizes the pedagogical meaning of learners’ participation in authentic international video conferences and highlights the urgency of integrating ELF-oriented practice toward English language education. By centralizing students’ voices, this research provides a deeper comprehension of English in real-life communicative practice, especially in global education settings.
