Abstract

Pembangunan pariwisata Madura menghadapi tantangan dan peluang signifikan dalam mengembangkan destinasi pariwisata yang berkelanjutan dan berdaya saing. Dalam konteks ini, peran pemerintah, swasta, masyarakat lokal, media massa, dan akademisi menjadi krusial dalam menentukan arah baru yang diambil dalam pembangunan pariwisata Madura. Pemerintah daerah Madura memiliki tanggung jawab utama dalam merumuskan kebijakan dan regulasi yang mendukung pertumbuhan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan, sambil memastikan pelestarian budaya dan lingkungan. Di sisi lain, sektor swasta berperan dalam investasi infrastruktur pariwisata dan pengelolaan destinasi, yang penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan daya saing Madura sebagai tujuan wisata. Masyarakat lokal, dengan pengetahuan mendalam tentang budaya dan sumber daya alam Madura, berperan dalam pelestarian warisan budaya, menyediakan layanan hospitality, dan mengembangkan produk wisata berbasis lokal yang autentik. Media massa memegang peran sebagai penghubung antara Madura dan audiens global, dengan menyampaikan informasi tentang atraksi pariwisata, kekayaan budaya, dan inisiatif pembangunan yang sedang berlangsung. Sementara itu, akademisi memberikan kontribusi krusial melalui riset, advokasi keberlanjutan, dan pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan keberlanjutan industri pariwisata Madura. Komunikasi yang terbuka, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan antara semua stakeholders adalah kunci dalam merancang strategi pembangunan pariwisata yang holistik dan berkesinambungan di Madura, memastikan manfaat ekonomi yang adil, pelestarian lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta pengalaman wisata yang memuaskan bagi pengunjung.

Abstract

The development of information technology today has made it easier for people to access various types of information quickly and efficiently. One of the rapidly growing innovations is the virtual tour, which enables the interactive presentation of information about a location or place. through a virtual tour, visitors can explore a location and learn about its history or related information, either through a virtual guide or an application. The aeng tong tong keris tourism village, known as a center for keris craftsmanship, has not yet utilized virtual tourtechnology. Therefore, the implementation of this technology is expected to help tourists gain deeper knowledge about the village, including the keris-making process and its cultural heritage. The development of this Virtual Tour uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, which is the most suitable approach for multimedia-based projects. This technology utilizes 360-degree panoramic image capture and integrates it with location data and analysis. Thus, tourists can access comprehensive information virtually

Abstract

Since the recognition of keris as an intangible heritage by UNESCO in 2005, and the determination of Sumenep Regency as a keris city, the development of keris in this region has continued to increase. Aeng Tong-Tong Village, which has the largest number of masters in the world, has become a national and international spotlight. However, supporting tourism infrastructure is still limited, such as a lack of directions, minimal information about masters and keris, and limited English language skills of local guides. This community service activity focuses on designing the Audio Tour Guide application, a mobile-based tour guide system that makes it easier for tourists to explore the village through QR code and multi-language features. This application provides biographical information about masters and descriptions of keris collections in audio in two languages, Indonesian and English. The application development stages use the multimedia development life cycle (MDLC), including concept, design, data collection, assembly, and testing. The results of the application trial to 32 respondents showed that the application was considered very good in terms of ease of use, graphic quality, audio quality, and ability to provide information, although there is still room for improvement in terms of graphics and audio.

Abstract

Rebranding keris as a tourism icon of Sumenep district is a new narrative that has been built by the people of Sumenep based on their assessment of the life of the people who can not be separated from the heirloom. The narrative of rebranding the keris as a tourism icon has relevance to the purpose of efforts to create a strong image impression on tourists, this is because the keris has become part of the archipelago community and even known to the world community. Based on this reality, this study aims to determine how the representation of the value of the keris in the discourse of tourism rebranding, how the visualization of the value of the keris in supporting the discourse of tourism rebranding, how the local government policy in an effort to strengthen the rebranding of the keris as a new icon of tourism in Sumenep. The method used is qualitative with semi-structured interview data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate the keris as a representation of the way of life of the people of Sumenep inherent in daily life so that the icon of the keris as a new branding can create a strong and unique image for tourist destinations, while also strengthening awareness of local cultural values. In addition, rebranding the keris as a tourism icon of Sumenep through the creation of a logo can build a self-image as a tourism centre that is different from destinations in general. Finally, the form of government support in realizing the discourse of keris rebranding as a new tourism icon can be realized through several concrete and strategic forms of support such as the creation of local government regulations.

Abstract

Desain grafis memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam strategi pemasaran bisnis modern. Ini membantu organisasi menjaga konsistensi visual, menyampaikan pesan dengan efektif, meningkatkan penjualan, serta membangun reputasi kuat berdasarkan kepercayaan dan kredibilitas. Kegiatan pengabdian pelatiah desain grafis merupakan kebutuhan yang harus dimiliki oleh generasi muda khususnya Siswa Kelas XII di SMKN 1 Kalianget sebelum mereka lulus dari sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk edukasi generasi muda untuk kreatif dalam teknologi informasi khususnya desain grafis dan peningkatan keterampilan perencanaan dalam mengolah sebuah layout secara manual dan digital melalui konten grafis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian yaitu berupa edukasi dan pelatihan yang intens sampai mereka memahami dengan baik tentang desain grafis dalam kegiatan komunikasi pemsaran. Hasil yang diperoleh atas kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu akan membantu dan memperkuat hasil karya siswa semakin baik dalam penggunaan elemen-elemen warna, dan tipografi pada logo sebuah organisasi. Abstract

The lack of a unique design concept and effective marketing communication has made it difficult for processed agricultural products, specifically Rubaru variety shallots, to compete with other products. Local producers and entrepreneurs have yet to fully leverage packaging design as a branding tool through e-commerce platforms and social media. This study aims to optimize product design and marketing communication through a digital approach to enhance competitiveness and market reach. The research uses a qualitative exploratory method and applies a design thinking approach involving the stages of empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. The findings indicate that the implementation of attractive packaging design, supported by storytelling-based marketing narratives and strategic optimization of e-commerce platforms, can significantly improve the visibility and consumer interest in Rubaru variety shallot products. The study concludes that the integration of visual communication design and digital marketing on e-commerce platforms is a key strategy in elevating the potential of processed agricultural commodities. This approach helps build a strong brand image, creates appealing and informative packaging, and fosters consumer trust in Rubaru variety shallot products in the modern market.

Abstract

In its journey, digital media has given rise to important issues that need to be considered in its development. The knowledge skills in using and utilizing digital media (digital literacy) of PMI children at SB At-Tanzil Malaysia do not yet have sufficient knowledge to access digital media. The purpose of carrying out international community service activities at the At-Tanzil Malaysia Guidance Center is to increase the creativity of mentor teachers in providing teaching to PMI children at SB At-Tanzil and as a provision for Indonesian migrant workers' children in operating digital media in a healthy and appropriate manner, so that they do not make mistakes in accessing various kinds of information at the age of children. The methods used are Adult Training: this involves a more structured and formal approach, often with a focus on developing specific skills, Introduction to Digital Literacy: this includes teaching children about the positive and negative impacts of digital devices and appropriate digital usage behavior, Utilization of Learning Media: Using digital tools such as laptops or tablets as learning media, and Digital Literacy Training as a Moral Education Media. The benefits of this activity are changes in the behavior of teachers and PMI children in Malaysia who attend SB At-Tanzil towards a more creative and productive understanding of digital media. The results of this activity are being able to think critically, creatively and innovatively in learning activities, especially for supervising teachers to educate children with more enthusiasm and improve their psychomotor skills so that learning is better and easier to understand, and easy to solve problems that occur in learning.
