Abstract

Berbagai peralatan kebutuhan rumah tangga terbuat dari plastik. Permasalahan utama limbah plastik sangat sulit terurai. Ironisnya, penggunaannya di masyarakat menyisakan persoalan sampah plastik yang dapat merusak ekosistem pantai, pesisir dan laut. Ecobrick adalah salah satu usaha kreatif bagi penanganan sampah plastik. Fungsinya bukan untuk menghancurkan sampah plastik, melainkan untuk memperpanjang usia plastik-plastik tersebut dan mengolahnya menjadi sesuatu yang berguna, yang bisa dipergunakan bagi kepentingan manusia pada umumnya. Pembuatan ecobrick masih belum begitu populer di kalangan masyarakat Kota Ternate. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk ibu rumah tangga di kelurahan Kalumat bertujuan untuk mengedukasi bagaimana mengelola sampah plastik secara baik dan efektif dengan membuat ecobrick. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu metode partisipatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini berupa ecobrick dan kursi yang terbuat dari ecobrick. Kegiatan pelatihan ini mampu memberikan pemahaman kepada mitra terkait mengolah sampah plastik rumah tangganya. Dampak lainnya, adanya keberlanjutan yakni mitra berkomitmen dan sudah mulai memilih dan memilah sampah rumah tangga sebelum dibuang ke TPS, dan membuat ecobrick di rumah masing-masing.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan rumah tangga dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor dan bervariasi antar individuataupun rumah tangga. Salah satu kelompok masyarakat di perkotaan yang masih tergolong rawanpangan adalah nelayan. Masyarakat Desa Bajo Sangkuang bermata pencahariaan utama sebagainelayan, dan mayoritas adalah menjadi buruh pada bagang perahu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui kondisi ketahanan pangan rumah tangga nelayan buruh di Desa Bajo Sangkuang.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan survei. Pengumpulan datadilakukan melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner kepada 97 rumah tangga nelayan buruh yangdipilih secara acak dan wawancara mendalam kepada informan kunci yakni kepala desa, nelayan buruh,pemilik bagang. Kondisi ketahanan pangan dianalisis dengan menggunakan indeks ketahanan panganyang dikembangkan oleh FAO. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa 92,78% rumah tangga nelayan buruhdalam kategori tidak tahan pangan, sebanyak 7,22% termasuk kurang tahan pangan dan tidak adarumah tangga nelayan buruh termasuk dalam kategori tahan pangan.Title: Analysis of Household Food Security of The Fishers Labors in The Village of Bajo Sangkuang South Halmahera RegencyHousehold food security is affected by many factors and varies among individuals or households. One of the groups of people in urban areas are classified as food insecurity is the fisher. Most of the people in the Village of Bajo Sangkuang is the fishers and most of them became laborers at bagang boats. The aim of this study was to determine the food security of households of fisher workers. This study used a descriptive-analytical method with survey approach. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire for 97 fisher labor households as randomly selected and in-depth interviews with four keys informant such as the head of village, fishing laborers, and owner of Bagang perahu. Food security condition is analyzed using food security index by FAO. Results show that 92,78% of fishing laborers household are insecure, 7,22% are middle-secure and there is no fisher labor households are categorized as highly food security.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the composition of sea cucumber types in Tanjung Gosale Guraping Village, find out the composition of sea cucumber food types in Tanjung Gosale Guraping Village and determine the food habits of sea cucumber types (main food, supplements, and incidental foods) contained in the stomach contents of sea cucumbers. The research procedure is carried out measurements of the length and weight of sea cucumbers using a measuring bar and analytical scales. Then the sea cucumber is dissected to be taken by the stomach, then analyzed the food contained in the stomach. Before the stomach is dissected first done weighing the weight of the stomach using analytical scales and measurements of the length of the stomach using the bar. The stomach of sea cucumbers that have been surgically then carried out observations of the contents of the stomach per individual in a microscope to find out the types of food organisms contained in the stomach of the sea cucumber. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh pendapatan perikanan, pendapatan non perikanan, pengeluaran pangan, pengeluaran non pangan terhadap nilai tukar nelayan, menentukan pengaruh nilai tukar nelayan terhadap tingkat pendidikan dan pola konsumsi keluarga nelayan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan oktober 2020-juni 2021 di Pulau Maitara Kota Tidore Kepulauan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan analisis regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil analisis menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dengan demikian secara signifikan pendapatan perikanan, pendapatan non perikanan, pengeluaran pangan, pengeluaran non pangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai tukar nelayan. Berdasarkan tabel diperoleh nilai R² sebesar 0,894 atau 89,4% hal ini menunjukkan bahwa presentase sumbangan pengaruh variabel X1,X2,X3,X4 terhadap variabel Y sebesar 89,4%.Kemudian, untuk hasil analisis regresi logistik ordinalnilai tukar nelayan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat pendidikan. Variabilitas tingkat pendidikan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabilitas nilai tukar nelayan sebesar 16,0%. Hasil regresi logistik ordinal juga menyatakan nilai tukar nelayan berpengaruh posistif dan signififkan terhadap pola konsumsi. Variabilitas pola konsumsi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabilitas nilai tukar nelayan sebesar 19,3%.

Abstract

Mangrove forests are biological resources found in coastal areas that have ecological and economic functions. Bruguiera gymnorrhiza is a type of mangrove that grows in the middle and back zones with a muddy sand substrate. The fruit can be used as a local food source, especially in coastal areas that have the potential of mangrove forests, but of course must pay attention to the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem. This PKM aims to apply the technology of processing the Bruguiera gymnorrhiza mangrove fruit for gulmerda cake and syrup which has a high selling value. The methods used in the Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities are lectures, practice, hedonic testing and mentoring. The results of PKM have increased public knowledge in utilizing raw materials that are around their environment to be processed into products that have a selling value, motivating people to be more independent and confident in developing businesses to improve community welfare, organoleptic testing, Cake gulmerda products are products that have higher score. Abstract

The study of condition status and identification of problems of seagrass damage in the waters of South Kayoa District, South Halmahera Regency aims to determine the status of seagrass ecosystem conditions and identify problems of seagrass ecosystem damage in the waters of South Kayoa District, South Halmahera Regency. Based on the research results on the status of the level of damage to the seagrass ecosystem in the waters of the South Kayoa District, South Halmahera Regency, about the Decree of the Minister of State for the Environment no. 200 of 2004. The station I (Pasir Putih) has an area of ​​61.23 significant damage. Station II (Ngute-Ngute) damage area 49.69 moderate damage. Station III (Posi-Posi) has an area of ​​39 moderate damage. Station IV (Sagaole) Damage area 46.90 moderate damage. Station V (Pass), with an area of ​​60.28, is under significant damage. While the factors causing the seagrass damage were identified due to natural factors in the form of waves and human factors in the form of ship/boat mooring, ship/boat anchorage, breakwater construction, resident settlements, dock construction, Doro (road opening in the seagrass area), construction of public roads, fishing fish and non-fish and seaweed cultivation.

Abstract

The use of mangrove fruit as food and beverage ingredients has never been carried out by the people of Maitara Island, Tidore City Islands. The problems faced by the community are: low public knowledge about the benefits of mangrove fruit as a food and beverage ingredient, lack of public knowledge about the diversification of processed mangrove fruit products as an ingredient in mangrove coffee drinks and low knowledge of good quality mangrove coffee powder processing techniques. The objectives of the PKM activities are: partners can find out about the benefits of mangrove fruit as food and beverage ingredients, apply appropriate technology in mangrove coffee powder processing techniques with good quality and get quality mangrove coffee variants and have high selling value to increase partner's economic income. The results of PKM activities are the diversification of Rhizophora apiculata processed mangrove fruit products as mangrove coffee drink ingredients that have a selling value so that they can improve people's welfare, the mangrove fruit calyx produces finer and denser coffee powder, coffee powder can be served in various variants, namely Sory (original soki ), SoSweet (sweet soki) and Pelakor (spice coffee customer) and all are liked by the public and organoleptic test results, all types of coffee variants are liked by researchers and the Pelakor variant is the variant that has a higher scoring value.
