Abstract

Sebagian besar guru di NTT belum memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dan mempublikasikannya. Begitu juga dengan guru-guru SDK Santu Yoseph Noelbaki Kabupaten Kupang. Kemampuan ini membantu guru untuk memperbaiki permasalahan yang terjadi dalam kelasnya dan mempublikasikannya agar dapat diketahui oleh orang lain, sekaligus sebagai media berbagi pengalaman dalam penelitian. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDK Santu Yoseph Noelbaki Kabupaten Kupang secara luring dalam bentuk pendampingan penulisan proposal. Jumlah peserta yang hadir sebanyak 29 orang dari target 20 orang. Peserta kegiatan berasal dari SDK dan SMPK Santu Yoseph Noelbaki Kabupaten Kupang. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan dengan tahapan penyajian materi tentang PTK, penulisan proposal, pelaksanaan PTK, penulisan laporan PTK, penulisan artikel dan publikasi artikel. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah para guru memiliki pehamanan yang cukup komperhensip terhadap PTK, mampu menghasilkan proposal PTK, mampu melakukan PTK dan mampu melakukan publikasi karya ilmiah pada jurnal nasional.

Abstract

Perairan pantai Mumutula berdekatan dengan pelabulan Fery, Pelabuhan Ikan dan Pelabuhan Tenau serta sering dikunjungi oleh masyarakat, oleh karena itu penelitian terhadap stabilitas ekosistem perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis moluska sebagai bioindikator stabilitas ekosistem. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei dengan menggunakan metode transek. Pada masing-masing transek diletakan plot pengamatan untuk mencuplik jenis dan jumlah moluska. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantittatif. Indeks keanekaragaman jenis dihitung dengan menggunakan formula indeks shanon-winer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada ekosistem Mumutula ditemukan 29 jenis moluska dengan indeks keanekaragaman jenis dalam kategori tinggi. Indeks keanekaragaman jenis yang tinggi menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem perairan pantai Mumutula dalam keadaan stabil.

Abstract

In general, teachers at Murder Teresa Catholic Primary Schools and Catholic Junior High Schools have not conducted Classroom Action Research, therefore this activity is very important to carry out to help teachers. This activity aims to help teachers understand CAR, write CAR proposals, create CAR reports, and write published articles as well as help students who experience learning difficulties. The stages of this activity are a presentation of material, practice, and assistance with writing, as well as mentoring students during 4 meetings. The results of the activity show that there has been an increase in knowledge about CAR and the publication of scientific papers and students have experienced an increase in literacy and numeracy

Abstract

Garbage is still a problem in almost all regions in Indonesia, including in the Bello Sub-district of Kupang City of East Nusa Tenggara. Garbage in Bello Sub-district, some are simply thrown on the side of the road and some are collected to be disposed of individually or per household to landfills. In fact, with the right and simple technology, waste that used to be a problem as waste, dirty, smelly, causing disease and polluting the environment can become goods that can be utilized and have economic value. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide a little scientific knowledge to the public about the benefits of household organic waste and involve the community in making liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The methods used were lectures and question-and-answer discussions during counseling about the benefits of household organic waste and liquid organic fertilizer for plant growth and production as well as soil fertility, and demonstrations during the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer. The results of community service activities at RT 02/RW 01 of Bello Sub-district, obtained 1 training community group consisting of 10 housewives, whose were enthusiastic in participating in this training activity as shown by their full attention to the counseling activities provided by the presenters and demonstration activities for making liquid organic fertilizer by demonstrators, and also by their presence which is always complete, both at the first meeting (opening and demonstration of making LOF) on 8 July 2023 and at the second meeting (observation of results and closing) on ​​30 July 2023. In addition, from this community service activity, around 22 liters of LOF were also produced which were then distributed to each member of the training community group, each member of the activity implementation team who was present, and two facilitators for making LOF.

Abstract

One of the soft skills that need to be honed for students is creativity. Creativity is the courage to try new ideas and look for alternative answers to the problems faced. The existence of creative souls can later become an asset in building an entrepreneurial spirit. Ecoprint is one of the media to hone students' creativity while exploring the potential of the surrounding natural environment. Ecoprint is the transfer of natural original colors on fabrics that have high absorption. There are several techniques used to produce ecoprint motifs including pounding, boiling and steam techniques. The pounding technique means beating the leaves on a piece of white cloth. This beating is used to bring out the natural colors in the leaves/flowers. The purpose of this training is to hone students' creativity and develop the spirit of entrepreneurship through ecoprint training that utilizes environmental potential. The method used was in 4 stages, namely, preparation, socialization, training and evaluation. The participants of this ecoprint training were very enthusiastic. This is shown by the results of a survey via google form to students regarding the suitability of the training objectives, the attractiveness of the material, the way of delivery of the speakers, the ease of practicing ecoprinting. The survey results showed 90% of students were satisfied with the activity.

Abstract

Model problem based learning berperan penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama di kelas XI IPA SMA Sint Carolus. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas XI setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada uji aktivitas peserta didik dengan mengunakan model problem based learning pada siklus satu masih sangat rendah sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar peserta didik belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya perhatian peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran yang berlangsung dan bersikap acuh serta keraguan dalam menanggapi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan refleksi pada siklus satu, perlu dilanjutkan pada siklus dua agar tecapai kriteria keberhasilan. Pada siklus dua mengalami peningkatan sehingga hasil belajar siswa mencapai kriteria keberhasilan. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problrm based learning mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dilihat dari perubahan hasil belajar dan perilaku dalam mengikuti p roses pembelajaran dan mencapai kriteria keberhasilan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was conducted in July of the 2024/2025 school year, at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City which is located at Jalan S.K Lerik, Kelapa Lima, Kupang, NTT. The purpose of the research was to find out how the implementation of the Problem Based Learning Model on the material of environmental change and pollution can improve the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang. The research procedure used in this research is classroom action research developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart which is carried out in a cyclic manner and each cycle consists of stages of plan (planning), act (implementation), observe (observation) and reflect (reflection). Data collection techniques in this study include observation data of both teachers and students and test questions in the form of 10 questions multiple choice and 5 fill-in questions. The research subjects were students of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City Class X with a total of 34 people. The results showed that the implementation of problem-based learning (PBL) model can improve the learning outcomes of biology material on environmental change and pollution in class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang. This study consists of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, in cycle I the average value of teacher activity reached 3.14 with a percentage of 78.57% while students reached 2.22 with a percentage of 55.64%. In cycle II, the average teacher activity increased to 3.92 with a percentage of 98.21% while the average learner activity increased to 3.74 with a percentage of 93.57%. This had an impact on the learning outcomes obtained by students, in cycle I obtained an average score of 5.726 with 23.5% classical completeness. Then experienced an increase in cycle II, the average value reached 82.52 with a classical completeness of 91.17%. ABSTRAK Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli tahun ajaran 2024/2025, di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang yang beralamat di Jalan S.K Lerik, Kelapa Lima, Kupang, NTT. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Implementasi Model Problem Based Learning Pada Materi Perubahan dan Pencemaran Lingkungan Dapat Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Kota kupang. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilakukan secara bersiklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan-tahapan plan (perencanaan), act (pelaksanaan), observ (pengamatan) dan reflect (refleksi). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mencakup data observasi baik guru maupun peserta didik dan soal test dalam bentuk 10 soal pilihan ganda dan 5 soal isian. Subjek penelitian peserta didik SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang Kelas X dengan jumlah 34 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model problem based learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi materi perubahan dan pencemaran lingkungan pada peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yakni siklus I dan siklus II, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata aktivitas guru mencapai 3,14 dengan persentase 78,57% sementara peserta didik mencapai 2,22 dengan persentase 55,64%. Pada siklus II rata-rata aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan menjadi 3,92 dengan persentase 98,21% sementara rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik, meningkat menjadi 3,74 dengan persentase 93,57%. Hal ini berdampak pada hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik, pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 5,726 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 23,5%. Lalu mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata mencapai 82,52 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 91,17%.
