Abstract

Introduction: Chronic pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience with actual or potential tissue damage, or is described as a damage lasting more than 3 months with heavy or moderate intensity. The patient's response to the pain he experienced was done in different ways such as shouting, grimacing, crying, etc. Repair of pain is likely to occur more quickly when psychological intervention is included in medical care because it requires alternative and complementary treatment to overcome the pain including prayer , humor, hypnosis, and group support. Growing evidence-based nursing practice shows progress in helping patients deal with the pain. One of the evidence-based nursing practices is humor therapy. Method: The literature search was done through searching the results of scientific publications 2010-2018 using several databases, such as Such as Google scholar, PubMed, DOAJ, and Cochran, with keyword "Humor Therapy and Chronic Pain. Result: Obtained 6 fulltext articles, were obtained with various methods used, such as quasi-experimental pre- and posttest control group design, randomized two-group review literature, concluded that humor therapy proved effective in reducing chronic pain in all ages. Conclusion: The humor therapy is effective in reducing chronic pain in patients of all ages, both children, adults and the elderly, besides humor therapy can also be used to increase endurance and quality of life in elderly who are cared for in nursing homes

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the increase in learning outcomes and cooperation of students in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang through Lesson Study based on the Discovery Learning Model. Implementation of the discovery learning learning model through Lesson Study in the LPTK Lecturer Partnership Program activities with teachers in schools in 2022. The research method used is Classroom Action Research combined with Lesson Study which consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of activities: (1) Planning (Plan), (2) Implementation and Observation (Do), and (3) Reflection (See). The results of the research that has been done show that the application of lesson study based on the discovery learning model can improve cognitive learning outcomes and the collaborative abilities of students in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang NTT. The results of this study showed an increase in students' classical learning mastery from pre-cycle to cycle I reaching 33.33% and cycle II reaching 50.00%. While the ability to cooperate also increased, amounting to 55.56% in cycle I and increased by 83.33% in cycle II.

Abstract

Psychosocial is the relationship between social conditions and mental or emotional health. The development of a person's personality comes from social experiences throughout his life so it is called psychosocial development. This development has a huge influence on the quality of a person's ego. The conflict that often arises in psychosocial problems is an identity crisis, the factors that cause an identity crisis are problems in the ability to control emotions, problems placing oneself with peers, and not getting the right figure to achieve a good self-identity. This research aims to determine and analyze the picture of early detection of psychosocial behavior problems in adolescents in high school. This research was conducted in October-November 2023. This is quantitative research. The number of samples in this study was 88 respondents using a random sampling method. Based on descriptive tests, the results of the Post Traumatic Distress Syndrome research were 54 respondents (64.4%), Anxiety and Depression, namely 24 respondents (20.3%), Psychotic Disorders were 10 respondents (15.3%). For early detection of psychosocial behavior problems, the school needs to hold meetings regarding guidance and counseling with students to understand more deeply the problems students are experiencing.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on increasing knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in school-aged children. The method used is a quantitative research method with an experimental research type of one-group prepost design. The research sample consisted of 59 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study show that knowledge is in the good category after being given the intervention with an n value of 30, which means that 30 respondents experienced an increase in knowledge. And the sufficient value is n 2, which means there are 2 respondents with insufficient knowledge even though they have been given the intervention, and there are 27 respondents whose knowledge remains good or sufficient after being given the intervention. Based on the statistical output test, a significant value of 0.000 was obtained. This means that H0 is rejected because the significant value is <0.05 and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the use of audio-visual media in increasing knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in school-aged children Keywords: School age children, audio visuals, clean and healthy living behavior

Abstract

Chili is one of the plants that are needed by the community so that proper cultivation techniques are needed, in this case related to fertilization by utilizing organic animal waste.This study aims to determine the response of the growth and production of red chili (Capsicum annum L.) to chicken and cow manure dose combination. The method used is an experimental method with a factorial completely randomized design which consists of two factors, namely the first factor is the type of animal manure which consists of two levels, namely cow dung and chicken manure, the second factor is the dose of fertilizer there are three levels, namely 200 grams, 300 grams and 400 grams. The total combination of treatments was 9 treatments and 3 replications so that in total there were 27 units. The parameters observed were chili growth (height and number of branches) and chili production (number of fruits and fruit weight). The data were analyzed of variance with 5% and 1% levels, followed by Duncan's 5% further test. The results of the analysis showed that the combination of treatments had a very significant effect on plant height and fruit number (12.77 and 5.00), significantly affected the number of fruits (3.55), but did not affect the wet weight of fruit (2.46).Further test results showed that the best treatment for the parameters of plant height, number of branches, and number of fruit was a combination of 300 grams of chicken manure and 200 grams of cow manure. Keywords: dose, chicken manure, cow manure, growth, production

Abstract

Kecanduan video game akan membahayakan kesehatan mental dan emosional remaja, serta kepribadian mereka. Selama tiga tahun masa transisi pembelajaran offline-to-online, era Covid-19 meningkatkan paparan penggunaan smartphone dan kemungkinan untuk bermain game hampir tanpa henti. Kesadaran akan masalah mental berbasis sekolah harus ditingkatkan untuk mencegah perilaku agresif ini. Proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana potensi kecanduan game internet di kalangan remaja dan memberikan upaya penanggulangan berupa pembelajaran pengaturan diri bagi remaja di SMAN 21 Makassar. Di Kota Makassar pada Juli 2022, tiga tahapan kegiatan ini adalah asesmen, edukasi, dan evaluasi. Siswa baru mampu membangun self-regulation manajemen adiksi pada salah satu dari tujuh dimensi adiksi, khususnya dimensi konflik, setelah menyelesaikan proses pendidikan. Aspek perselisihan ini melibatkan kontrol orang tua dan resolusi aktif penggunaan smartphone di rumah. Kami mengusulkan agar enam karakteristik kecanduan lainnya ditetapkan di sekolah sebagai model konseling yang ramah remaja, sehingga memudahkan siswa untuk mendapatkan akses ke sumber daya yang bagus untuk mengurangi rute jangka panjang kecanduan game online sebagai penyakit kognitif dan mental.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an initial mapping of metacognitive abilities, student chemistry retention, metacognitive contribution to chemical retention of state high school students in Rote Regency. The population of this research is the XII IPA grade students of State Senior High Schools in Rote Ndao Regency, NTT. A sample of 200 students from 9 study groups was determined by simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire, for students' metacognition, and a test for students' chemical retention. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the analysis obtained: 1) the average knowledge and metacognitive regulation of Rote Ndao High School students is in the sufficient category while the average learning retention is in the medium category, 2) the percentage of good categories for metacognitive knowledge and regulation is 52.50%, respectively. and 58%, 3) the highest percentage of chemical retention in the low category was 46.50%, 4) metacognitive knowledge and cognitive regulation with chemical retention were positively correlated with a reliability value of 13.4%. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge and metacognitive regulation with chemical retention of class XII IPA students of SMA Negeri in Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Abstract

Abstrak Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan manajemen media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran digital di SMK Tunas Bangsa Depok, dengan melibatkan sekitar 110 siswa. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara luring selama tiga jam, yang terdiri dari dua sesi, untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai penggunaan media sosial dalam strategi pemasaran digital. Melalui pelatihan ini, siswa diharapkan dapat memahami cara-cara efektif dalam memanfaatkan platform media sosial untuk mempromosikan produk dan layanan, serta mengelola konten secara profesional untuk mendukung tujuan pemasaran. Sebagai metode evaluasi, pra-tes dan pos-tes digunakan untuk mengukur perubahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa terkait penerapan media sosial dalam pemasaran digital. Grafik yang dihasilkan dari perbandingan antara hasil pra-tes dan pos-tes menunjukkan kemajuan yang jelas dalam hal pemahaman konsep dan penerapan strategi pemasaran digital melalui media sosial. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang manajemen media sosial, tetapi juga mempersiapkan mereka untuk berkontribusi lebih efektif di industri pemasaran digital yang terus berkembang. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat yang besar dalam mengembangkan keterampilan praktis siswa, khususnya dalam memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat pemasaran digital yang efektif dan relevan di era digital saat ini. Kata Kunci: manajemen media sosial, pemasaran digital, pelatihan pemasaran, pengelolaan media sosial, media sosial untuk pemasaran. Abstract The training program aimed to optimize social media management as a tool for digital marketing at SMK Tunas Bangsa Depok, involving approximately 110 students. The training was conducted in two offline sessions, each lasting three hours, to provide an in-depth understanding of using social media in digital marketing strategies. Through this training, students were expected to comprehend effective ways to leverage social media platforms for product and service promotion, as well as to manage content professionally to support marketing objectives. Pre-tests and post-tests were used as evaluation methods to measure changes in students' knowledge and skills before and after the training. Evaluation results showed significant improvements in students' understanding of social media applications in digital marketing. The comparison between pre-test and post-test results showed clear progress in understanding the concepts and applying digital marketing strategies via social media. This program not only enhanced students' knowledge of social media management but also prepared them to contribute more effectively to the ever-growing digital marketing industry. Thus, this training provided significant benefits in developing students' practical skills, particularly in utilizing social media as an effective and relevant tool for digital marketing in today's digital era. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar berjudul "Bahasa dan Kesantunan dalam Media Sosial: Strategi Komunikasi dalam Pemasaran Digital" sebagai media pembelajaran di SMK Budi Warman II. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi strategi kesantunan bahasa dalam komunikasi pemasaran digital melalui platform media sosial dan perannya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang strategi pemasaran digital sambil menekankan pentingnya bahasa dan kesantunan dalam komunikasi online. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa buku ajar tersebut dapat menjadi media yang efektif untuk pembelajaran strategi komunikasi dalam pemasaran digital di sekolah vokasi.
