Abstract

Various problems arising from the failure of the kidney on the client premises terminal renal failure above can lead to the emergence of despair and decreased motivation to recover. One way to overcome the problem is with motivational interviewing interventions with spiritual approach (thanksgiving, patient and sincere). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of motivational interviewing on despair and motivation to recover ESRD patients undergoing regular hemodialysis. This research uses quasy experiment with pre-post test design and posttest only with control group design. The random sampling technique is simple. The sample was 32 respondents based on the inclusion criteria. Intervention is done for 4 weeks with 2 meetings / week. Independent variable of this research is motivational interviewing with spiritual approach. Dependent variable is hopelessness and motivation to recover. This study uses questionnaire instruments to measure despair and motivation to recover, which had previously been tested for validity and reliability. Statistical test using paired t test, independent t test, mann whitney and wilcoxon signed rank test. The result of statistical test showed that MI with spiritual approach had an effect on decrease of hopelessness (p = 0,001) and increase of motivation to recover (p = 0,001). The MI intervention helps the patient in identifying, evaluating and responding to deformities of his mind and beliefs. Helping the patient develop a rational mindset, engaging in reality tests, and reshaping behavior by altering internal messages. MI interventions with a spiritual approach affect the decrease of hopelessness and increased motivation to recover in ESRD patients with regular HD.

Abstract

ne of the efforts to improve children's health and nutrition is to provide the best food for Baduta. If infants and children aged 6-24 months do not get enough nutrition from complementary feeding, it will result in impaired growth and malnutrition. Guntur tiger village is one of the fostered villages of FIK UNW Mataram. Based on the results of the nutritional assessment of Toddlers that was carried out previously, it turned out that several nutritional problems were still found, especially in the Baduta age group. Namely, the increasing incidence of stunting. The main cause is the limited knowledge of mothers about Baduta nutrition and mother's skills in preparing food to meet nutritional needs with locally available food. Community Service Activities, providing health education about nutrition and making MPASI based on local food for mothers pregnant women, cadres and Mrs. Baduta was held on March 25, 2022. The activity was carried out at the Guntur Macan village hall with 28 participants. The results of the final evaluation of the increase in knowledge and skills of participants by 51.0%. To form good nutritional behavior in families, sustainable mentoring activities are needed.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Perioperative is a combined term that includes three phases of the surgical experience, namely preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative. During pre-operation, of course the patient will experience anxiety. One effort to reduce anxiety levels is by providing spiritual therapy. This research aims to determine the preoperative anxiety level of patients who are given spiritual therapy. The research used was descriptive which was carried out for 2 weeks. The population and sample in this study were Muslim patients who were going to undergo surgery at the Mataram City Regional Hospital, totaling 33 respondents. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. Data collection in this study used the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) questionnaire with 14 questions and the SOP for implementing spiritual therapy (Sholawat Thibbil Qulub). The way to assess anxiety is by giving a score in categories: 0= no symptoms at all, 1= one symptom present, 2= moderate/half of the symptoms present, 3= severe/more than half of the symptoms present, 4= very severe all symptoms exist. If you get a score of less than 14 = no anxiety, a score of 14-20 = mild anxiety, a score of 21-27 = moderate anxiety, a score of 28-41 = severe anxiety. Based on the description of the anxiety level of pre-operative patients with the provision of spiritual therapy, 0 respondents (0%) experienced very severe anxiety/panic, 2 respondents (6.0%) experienced severe anxiety, 14 respondents (42.5%) experienced moderate anxiety. , mild anxiety as many as 15 respondents (45.5%), no anxiety as many as 2 respondents (6.0%). The results of this spiritual therapy research were able to reduce the level of anxiety felt by pre-operative patients.
