Abstract

This article examines the intersection of polygamy, gender justice, and human rights within the framework of Islamic law. The primary objective is to analyze how traditional Islamic practices regarding polygamy can be reconciled with contemporary human rights principles, particularly focusing on the implications for women's rights. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study reviews relevant Islamic legal texts alongside international human rights conventions, such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). The findings indicate that while polygamy is permissible in Islam under specific conditions—primarily the requirement of justice among wives—its practical application often leads to violations of women's rights and gender inequality. Furthermore, the research highlights the necessity for reform in legal frameworks governing polygamy to ensure alignment with human rights standards. The significance of this study lies in its potential to inform policymakers and scholars about the need for a balanced approach that respects both Islamic teachings and modern human rights norms, ultimately promoting gender justice within Muslim societies.

Abstract

Pembentukan Desa Sadar Hukum di Desa X merupakan upaya signifikan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang hak dan kewajiban hukum. Studi ini mengkaji proses, tantangan, dan hasil yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan program ini. Melalui pembentukan Kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum (Kadarkum), inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk mendidik warga tentang hukum dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam urusan hukum. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti rendahnya kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi hukum dan norma sosial yang mengakar yang menghambat partisipasi, program ini berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam diskusi dan kegiatan hukum. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa dukungan berkelanjutan dari lembaga pemerintah dan organisasi non-pemerintah sangat penting untuk mempertahankan upaya ini. Secara keseluruhan, pembentukan Desa Sadar Hukum menjadi model bagi komunitas lain yang ingin meningkatkan literasi hukum dan mendorong budaya kepatuhan terhadap hukum.

Abstract

This research is generally to find out the effectiveness of using picture card in writing descriptive text to the seventh grade students of SMP Wahidiyah Kediri in academic year 2022/2023. The researcher use Quasi-experimental applied in VII A. This research had been done in six meetings, the first meeting is pre-test, four meetings are the treatment, and the last meeting is post-test.The researcher uses quantitative method with analyzed the data by using T-test. The result shows that there is significance different between students are taught by using Picture Card and without Picture Card. The data analysis shows that Tcount > Ttable (2,651 > 1,664), Ha is accepted. In the Pre-test, the average score of VII A class (Experiment Class) is 65 and VII B class (Control Class) is 62. In the Post-test, the average score VIIC class (Experiment Class) is 74 and VIID class (Control Class) is 65. The result shows that the average score of Experiment Class is higher than Control Class in Post-test. Therefore, it can be concluded that Picture Card is effective to teach writing descriptive text.Key words : Writing, Descriptive Text, Picture Card

Abstract

Madrasah culture is indeed a barometer of Madrasah activities which is a measure of whether the Madrasah has a culture that produces good results for the Madrasah or vice versa a bad culture for the Madrasah, therefore MAN 1 and 4 Jombang really prioritize Madrasah Culture in increasing the competitiveness of their institutions so that the institution has an icon and good habits in everyday life at the Madrasah so as to increase the competitiveness of the Madrasah. This study aims to describeFinding and analyzing the behavior of Madrasah residents in increasing competitiveness at MAN 1 Jombang and MAN 4 Jombang and This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design. The reason the researcher chose MAN 1 Jombang and MAN 4 Jombang is because they have similarities in terms of madrasah culture in increasing competitiveness, therefore the researcher chose both institutions to be the object of research. Data collection in this study used in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation where the data sources were from people , documents ( paper ) and places ( place ). While the key informants in this study consisted of: the Head of Madrasah, the Deputy Curriculum and stakeholders of MAN 1 Jombang and MAN 4 Jombang who were involved. As for behavior residents of MAN 1 Jombang and MAN 4 Jombang, namely: a). Declaring madrasah activities that make madrasah residents comfortable and safe. b). Upholding the values of Islamic boarding schools in the madrasah. c). In the daily activities of madrasah residents, it has been regulated according to the madrasah culture program. d). Providing duties and functions in the behavior of madrasah residents so as to increase the competitiveness of the madrasah. e). Creating a comfortable atmosphere for madrasahs that have many madrasah activities, both intra and extra. f). Providing periodic counseling every time there will be and during activities. g). Madrasah cultural behavior is very dependent on the quality culture in both locations because the quality culture provides a rhythm of good habits in increasing the competitiveness of the madrasah. h). and also the last finding of the research on the behavior of madrasah residents is the existence of a culture of achievement and a regular bureaucratic culture from both locations, so that the behavior of madrasah residents is created with achievement and regular discipline in increasing the competitiveness of the madrasah. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Peraturan Hukum dan Implementasi Peraturan Hukum Alokasi Anggaran Dana Desa berupa Bantuan Langsung Tunai serta untuk mendeskripsikan Hasil Evaluasi Peraturan Hukum Alokasi Anggaran Dana Desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Duren Sawahan Nganjuk. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian terdiri dari observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) Peraturan Hukum Alokasi Anggaran Dana Desa, Bantuan Langsung Tunai Dana Desa di Desa Duren Kecamatan Sawahan Kabupaten Nganjuk sudah sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 205/PMK.07/2020 Tentang Pengelolaan Dana Desa dan selaras dengan Peraturan Bupati Nomor 1 Tahun 2022. (2) Implementasi Peraturan Hukum Alokasi Anggaran Dana Desa, Bantuan Langsung Tunai Dana Desa yaitu masyarakat lebih disiplin dengan Peraturan Pemerintah Desa, Semakin Dekat dengan Pemerintah Desa, dan meringankan beban masyarakat kurang mampu/miskin. (3) Evaluasi Peraturan Hukum Alokasi Anggaran Dana Desa, Bantuan Langsung Tunai Dana Desa yaitu dari faktor eksternal meliputi lingkungan masyarakat, dan media sosial.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery constitutes a critical foundation for effective language acquisition. The use of Wordwalls in interactive learning activities has been shown to have a positive effect on increasing student engagement and understanding, especially in learning English vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to identify the benefits of Wordwalls as an interactive digital learning for making the English learning experience more enjoyable and engaging. A descriptive qualitative research method was applied to gather information through classroom observations and student interviews. The present study highlights the instructional potential of Wordwall as a digital learning platform that significantly contributes to increasing students’ learning motivation, encouraging active participation, and enhancing their mastery of subject matter. Students enrolled in Semester 2B of the Early Childhood Islamic Education program at Pangeran Diponegoro University, Nganjuk, reported that the platform’s interactive features—such as quizzes, word-based games, and participatory tasks—offered an engaging learning environment that facilitated a more profound understanding of English language skills. These included not only vocabulary development but also sentence construction and oral communication competence. The findings suggest that Wordwall serves as an effective pedagogical tool in supporting interactive and student-centered English language instruction, with strong potential for integration into higher education curriculum, particularly within the framework of early childhood teacher education.
