Abstract

A social group is a collection of people who share a common sense of membership and interact with each other. Social groups are created by community members for the community itself with various types or types according to the goals or needs of the group itself. Where social groups play a role in shaping the personality and influencing the behavior of its members.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using the Discovery Learning Model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the Discovery Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 40.89%, the first cycle 68.87% and in the second cycle it increased to 90.32%. Thus, the Discovery Learning Model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning

Abstract

The increasing problem of plastic waste, especially in school environments, requires creative and educational solutions to address it. The Eco Kreatif program aims to raise students' environmental awareness through the activity of recycling plastic bottles into hanging flower pots. This program employs a project-based learning method, where students at SDN 104233 Bandar Labuhan participate in stages of socialization, demonstration, and hands-on practice in designing and decorating flower pots from used plastic bottles. The results show that more than 85% of students understand the importance of recycling and have acquired the skills to transform plastic waste into valuable products. Additionally, this program helps foster students' creativity and enhances their environmental awareness. Thus, the Eco Kreatif program not only contributes to reducing plastic waste but also serves as an effective environmental education tool from an early age.

Abstract

Stunting masih jadi permasalahan gizi kronis di Indonesia, terutama pada wilayah pedesaan. Ibu hamil memiliki peran penting dalam pencegahan stunting karena kekurangan gizi selama kehamilan berdampak langsung apada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan daun kelor (Moringa Oleifera) dan jagung (Zea Mays) sebagai bahan dasar pudding padat gizi untuk mendukung kecukupan nutrisi ibu hamil di Desa Pakam, Kecamatan Medang Deras. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui uji kandungan gizi (Proksimat), uji organoleptic. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan proporsi daun kelor menaikan kadar protein, kalsium, vitamin A, dan zat besi, namun berdampak pada penurunan daya terima. Formulasi terbaik adalah P2 (30% kelor : 70% jagung) dengan skor tertinggi dalam uji organoleptik, serta mampu memenuhi 9% kebutuahn protein, 17,5% kalsium, 64% vitamin A, dan 18,5% zat besi harian ibu hamil. Pudding daun kelor dan jagung tidak hanya bernilai gizi tinggi dan mudah di konsumsi, tetapi juga berpotensi menjadi alternatif makanan tambahan ibu hamil sekaligus mendukung kemandirian pangan lokal. Dengan demikian produk ini layak direkomendasi sebagai inovasi intervensi gizi berbasis pangan lokal dalam upaya menurunkan prevalensi stunting.

Abstract

Forcipomyia spp. is a pollinator insect on cacao plants that belongs to the Ceratopogonidae Family, Diptera Order. The objectives of this research were to determine the abundance of the insect population of Forcipomyia spp. in Lima Puluh Kota District and to determine the frequency of visits of those insects to cacao flowers. This research was conducted on a small smallholder plantation in Sungai Talang Village, Lima Puluh Kota District. Then, the samples obtained were identified at the Andalas University Laboratory. This research was conducted using a survey method and purposive sampling technique. Five cacao plants were selected in each plot of land, and then three flower beds per plant were selected to bloom. Sampling was carried out by installing yellow sticky traps. The insects obtained were put into a collection bottle filled with 96% alcohol to preserve those insects, and then the abundance of Forcipomyia spp. Insects were calculated. The research results showed that the highest insect abundance was in Jorong Guguak Nunang: 1.260 individuals, then in Jorong Bukik Apik: 1.061 individuals and the lowest was in Jorong Boncah: 1.045 individuals. The highest frequency of visits was in the morning, with an average of 648 individuals/60 minutes. The insect diversity index based on the Shannon-Wienner Diversity Index in Jorong Guguak Nunang was 1,97; in Jorong Boncah, it was 2,21; in Jorong Bukik Apik was 1,88, and all of it is in the medium diversity level category.

Abstract

This study connects two major problems in education: adolescent misbehavior and academic pressure. Research on the implementation of character education shows that cooperation between teachers and parents is crucial in reducing adolescent misbehavior by instilling effective character values. On the other hand, studies on academic pressure reveal students' subjective views of academic demands as a cause of negative physical, behavioral, and emotional reactions that affect mental health and academic achievement. Although different in focus, these two problems are interconnected, where academic pressure can contribute to adolescent misbehavior. Further research is needed to investigate the causal relationship between academic pressure and adolescent misbehavior, and to assess the effectiveness of character education as a solution to address both problems.
