Abstract

Masa pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi secara global nampaknya telah mengubah tatanan kehidupan individu dan masyarakat. Ketahanan keluarga yang kuat sangat dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan sumberdaya manusia berkualitas yang sangat dibutuhkan bagi pembangunan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui program laboratorium social, yang bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat di Wilayah Kalurahan Sidoarum Kapanewon Godean terkait Ketahanan Keluarga dan Moderasi Beragama. Dalam kegiatan ini, beberapa program yang telah dilakukan, di antaranya, adalah pembuatan sebuah website untuk KUA Kapanewon Godean sebagai satu media yang bisa diakses public secara daring untuk memberikan berbagai informasi yang dibutuhkan mayarakat. Tema yang disampaikan adalah tentang ketahanan keluarga, yang meliputi pembinaan calon manten, pemberdayaan perempuan mandiri, dan pembinaan bijak bermedsos. Tema lainnya adalah tentang moderasi beragama, yang meiputi pembinaan remaja masjid, pembinaan mualaf, dan pembinaan kaum Rois. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa program dalam laboratorium social ini dalam merawat ketahanan keluarga serta moderasi beragama di wilayah Kalurahan Sidoarum Kapanewon Godean ini bisa terjaga dengan baik sehingga tercipta masyarakat yang kondusif , aman dan tentram. Selain itu secara rohani dalam beribadah menjadi lebih khusyu’ dan istiqomah

Abstract

The loss of hearing function in deaf children causes deaf children to experience obstacles in listening to the sound of objects or sounds of language as children generally hear. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the hearing function of deaf children. The Development of Sound and Rhythm Perception Communication (PKPBI) is a special program to practice understanding sound so that the remaining hearing of deaf children can be maximized. So far, the PKPBI learning media at the sound identification stage used by the Karnna Manohara Yogyakarta Special School teacher is the keyboard. However, the keyboard has weaknesses such as the collection of sounds on the keyboard is very limited. Another problem is the Covid 19 pandemic, PKPBI learning is less than optimal due to limited face-to-face meetings. The purpose of this research is to design a serious game as a learning medium for sound identification for deaf children that can be used in the classroom and at home. The method used to design serious sound identification games is User Centered Design (UCD). Based on the research results, the design of this serious game can be developed into a serious game application to practice sound identification in deaf children.

Abstract

Paper ini mempresentasikan kegiatan pendampingan research and development kepada mitra UKM yaitu PT Stechoq Robotika Indonesia. Kegiatan yang dilakukan bertujuan menghasilkan prototype Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kerjasama tiga perguruan tinggi, yaitu Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU), Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY), dan Universitas Janabadra Yogyakarta (UJB). Dari kegiatan ini dihasilkan desain prototype AGV yang mampu membawa barang dalam jumlah besar.

Abstract

Pada zaman ini, penggunaan bahan bakar minyak minyak (BBM) merupakan kebutuhan energi yang tidak dapat diperbarui yang tidak sebanding dengan meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan sehingga pasokan volume BBM semakin menurun. Selain itu, masalah lingkungan berupa peningkatan jumlah sampah yang juga semakin tinggi dikarenakan proses penguraian yang memerlukan  khususnya pada sampah plastik. Oleh karenanya diperlukan cara mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan membuat bahan bakar minyak dengan mengekstrak energi yang terdapat pada sampah menggunakan termal. Pirolisis adalah proses dekomposisi secara kimia-termal pada keadaan tanpa oksigen yang terjadi didalam reaktor. Produk utama dari teknologi ini adalah MHP (Minyak Hasil Pirolisis). Minyak inilah yang diharapkan mampu mengatasi berkurangnya bahan bakar fosil dengan dilakukan pengujian performa MHP pada mesin secara langsung. Pengujian dilakukan dengan melihat kinerja yang dihasilkan dengan melakukan variasi campuran bahan bakar. Emisi gas buang juga dilakukan guna mendapatkan data dari efek penggunaan MHP sebagai campuran BBM. Hal ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui secara keseluruhan bagaimana potensi dari MHP agar nantinya bukannya menghasilkan energi terbarukan tetapi juga ramah lingkungan sehingga menghasilkan energi yang bersih dan berkualitas.

Abstract

Abstract This study proposes the design and development of an Android application tailored specifically for the deaf users of the Trans Jogja public transportation system. With the aim of enhancing accessibility and usability for this marginalized user group, the application integrates features that cater to their unique communication needs and challenges. Purpose: Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta has a Disability Services Unit or ULD called GESI. This unit accommodates the accessibility needs of deaf students. Deaf students usually use Trans Jogja as a means of transportation to campus. An obstacle that students often face is missing the location of their destination bus stop. This happens because students are too busy playing with their cell phones, causing a loss of focus. Therefore, tools are needed as a reminder of the location of the destination bus stop. This research aims to design a tool application for deaf students using Android-based Trans Jogja public transportation. Methods/Study design/approach: This research methods uses a prototype which includes communication, quick plan and design modeling, construction of prototype, and development delivery feedback. Result/Findings: The results of this research are in the form of a prototype that has several features, namely searching for starting and destination stops, text to voice, word dictionary, volume settings, and distance settings. Novelty/Originality/Value: The design of an application to assist deaf people in using Trans Jogja based on Android is used for students with hearing impairments, especially for Trans Jogja public transportation.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual adalah salah satu bentuk kekerasan berbasis gender yang menyebabkan penderitaan fisik, seksual dan psikologis, terutama terhadap kelompok rentan seperti perempuan dan penyandang disabilitas. Penyandang disabilitas, khususnya tunarungu, menghadapi tantangan dalam menggunakan layanan transportasi publik, salah satunya seperti Trans Jogja yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan perlindungan mereka, terutama terkait kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang user interface aplikasi pencegahan kekerasan seksual bagi penyandang disabilitas tunarunggu menggunakan metode Use Centered Design. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh suatu prototype aplikasi berbasis mobile yang bernama Difamap V2. Adapun fitur yang dimiliki aplikasi Difamap V2 meliputi: fitur temukan lokasi, lokasi awal, lokasi tujuan, maps, panggilan darurat, alarm bantuan untuk membantu dalam meminta pertolongan orang sekitar dan fitur share live location secara otomatis kepada keluarga, kepolisian dan posko bantuan terdekat. Diharapankan dengan adanya aplikasi ini dapat memberikan perlindugan yang lebih efektif dan respon cepat terhadap situasi darurat bagi penyandang disabilitas dan perempuan yang menggunakan transportasi umum.

Abstract

Environmental damage in Indonesia is concerning, with the massive loss of green spaces in recent years. Consequently, there has been a drastic decline in air quality, contributing to the rise of diseases such as stroke, heart conditions, lung diseases, and even birth defects. The implementation of environment-based waqf activities, with waqf items in the form of trees, offers a practical solution that is accessible to the public. However, this effort has not yet been widely adopted or well-facilitated. The growth of tree seedlings is influenced by several factors, such as air temperature, soil pH, humidity, and carbon particles. A method for monitoring and alerting users is needed to ensure optimal plant growth. An IoT system is integrated for the plants in the waqf areas. Sensor data will be displayed on a screen, with an alerting function that sends alarms through a speaker. Mahogany seedlings were selected for testing due to their rapid growth. Integrating IoT devices for monitoring and alerting effectively increased the height of mahogany seedlings. Based on a two-month test on 10 seedlings across two different areas, a difference of 2.4 cm per two months, or 14.4 cm per year, was observed between IoT-integrated and non-IoT areas.

Abstract

As a tropical country, Indonesia has abundant biomass potential because plants grow all year. Among the several types of biomass, nyamplung kernel cake (NKC) has a high potential for use as an energy source. The goal of this research was to develop a biomass burner and evaluate its performance using NKC and wood pellets (WP) as comparisons. The burner performance test is designed to investigate the effect of air mass flow rate on combustion flame, heat release rate, and thermal efficiency for both types of biomass. The thermal efficiency of the burner was calculated using the water boiling test (WBT). The results revealed that using NKC resulted in a longer combustion flame at air flow rates of 146 and 219 g/s. The higher the air flow rate, the longer the flame. The combustion of NKC and WP produced the longest flame, measuring 80 cm with an air mass flow rate of 290 g/s. The experiment also demonstrated that WP produced a higher temperature than NKC. The highest combustion temperature was produced by WP, reaching 818.1°C with an air mass flow rate of 290 g/s. From the two types of biomass evaluated, WP combustion produced more heat than NKC. The highest heat release rate of 35.46 kW was achieved with an air mass flow rate of 290 g/s. The burning of NKC resulted in the maximum thermal efficiency, 30.35% at an air mass flow rate of 219 g/.

Abstract

Problems that often occur in buying and selling vegetables include problems related to the quality of vegetables received by consumers, payment methods that still apply traditional models and the unavailability of vegetables among sellers causing inefficient use of time. The existence of the KangSayur application can facilitate ordering vegetables by keeping the quality of vegetables fresh when they arrive at consumers, various payment methods and the availability of vegetables that can be monitored via cellphones. This research aims to apply the design thinking method to the design of the KangSayur application user interface. The final result of this research is the UI/UX design of KangSayur application with user experience analysis using the system usability scale (SUS) testing method to determine the effectiveness of the application in its use. This research process consists of making UI/UX design using figma tools and design thinking method which has several stages including empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test.
