Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi masyarakat tentang kesiapsiagaan bencana dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan manajemenbencana kepada kelompom rentan yakni wanita dan anak-anak. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Sigambal kecamatan Rantau Selatan Kabuoaten Labuhanbatu, dengan total peserta dalah 100 peserta dan terdiri dari 5 pemateri. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu menjadi salah satau daerah yang masuk dalam kategori waspada bencana banjir, dengan demikian untuk menghindari kerugian dan korban jiwa akibat ancaman banjir ini, pemerintah perlu secara aktif untuk melakukan sosialisasi manajemen bencana. Peningkatan literasi kebencanaan dapat dilakukan dengan cara penyuluhan dan menyisipkan rangkaian pelatihan yang didalamnya berisi tentang respon peratama bencana dari mulai proses evakuasi, pembentukan team tanggap darurat, manajemen logistik, manajemen dapur umum untuk pengungsi hingga pada manajemen pemulihan pasca bencana. Hasilnya evaluasi ditemukan bahwa masyarakat saat ini telah memahami bagaimana peran ibu rumah tangga dalam manajemen bencana, diantara masyarakat telah memeprisapkan tas darurat untuk menyimpan segala bentuk barang-barang kesiapsiagaan bencana, kemudian masyarakat juga meletakkan surat-surat berharga lainnya pad akantung darurat dalam rangka menghindari kerugian secara financial, selajutnya hasil temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa tata letak perabotan rumah tangga sudah diatur berdasarkan standart keamanan, misalnya letak posisi lemari yang tidak menghadap langsung kekasur, pembuangan sampah yang teratur serta membersihkan penyaluran air agar tidak mengyumbat parit dan sirkulasi air pada gorong-gorong.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMK Al Bukhary Rantau Prapat. The Merdeka Curriculum is an innovation that provides flexibility for educational institutions to develop learning methods relevant to students' needs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is tested using triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning at SMK Al Bukhary Rantau Prapat has undergone significant changes through a project-based learning approach and differentiated learning, which emphasize not only cognitive aspects but also affective and psychomotor aspects. The main challenges in implementing this curriculum include limited facilities and infrastructure, teachers’ readiness to adapt to new approaches, variations in students' abilities and motivation, and lack of parental involvement in supporting learning. Despite these challenges, the Merdeka Curriculum has had a positive impact on enhancing teachers' creativity in teaching and fostering students' character development in alignment with the Profile of Pancasila Students. This study recommends the need for collaboration among all stakeholders to create more contextual, applicable, and relevant PAI learning that meets the demands of the modern era.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of the school library as a learning resource for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Swasta Al Bukhary Rantauprapat. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation, which involves comparing various sources of information obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation to enhance accuracy and reduce bias in data analysis. The data analysis techniques used in this study consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results indicate that the school library serves as a learning resource center that provides book collections and supporting facilities, although the availability of Islamic literature remains limited. The utilization of the library by students for PAI learning is still suboptimal, with visits mostly occurring only when assigned by teachers. Supporting factors for library utilization include the availability of book collections, adequate facilities, and teacher support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include low student reading interest, limited specific Islamic book collections, a lack of literacy activities, and time constraints. Nevertheless, for students who utilize the library, it contributes to improving their understanding of PAI material, fostering reading interest, and strengthening critical thinking skills in comprehending Islamic teachings. Strategic efforts from the school are needed to optimize library utilization, including expanding the collection of Islamic books and organizing religion-based literacy activities.

Abstract

Media sangat berpengaruh terhadap kegiatan proses belajar mengajar dengan media yang menarik sangat membantu para mahasiswa untuk memperhatikan materi yang disampaikan dalam hal ini penggunaan media wordwall.net salah satu bahan ajar interaktif yang sangat banyak fitur tampilan yang akan digunakan. Di era digital yang serba teknologi ini di haruskan setiap dosen harus terus mengupgrade diri dalam penyampaian materi ajar dengan pemanfaatan media yang menarik. Sehingga mahasiswa lebih mudah memahami dan tertarik untuk memperhatikan dan menyimak apa yang disampaikan oleh seorang dosen tersebut. Pada kegiatan ini penggunaan wordwall sebagai media interaktif untuk penyampaian materi dengan tujuan agar sumber informasi tersampaikan dan wawasan akan lebih luas dengan menggabungkan berbagai unsur atau media dalam penjelasannya. sebagai pendekatan dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk motivasi belajar baru pada mahasiswa. Dosen harus terus mengembangkan profesinya dalam bidang pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian. Pengajaran yang dilakukan harus terus di inovasi menggunakan media teknologi digital. Dengan hasil observasi diperoleh dengan sebanyak 87% dengan sangat senang, 10 % senang, 3% cukup senang dan tidang senang menjawab tidak ada. Dengan memanfaatkan media ataupun situs online maka selain pembelajaran dengan tampilan menarik juga dapat membantu para dosen dalam mengefektifkan waktu.

Abstract

This research is motivated by four problem formulations, namely: (1) how is the implementation of extracurricular activities of pencak silat at SMA Muhammadiyah-10 Rantauprapat; (2) how is the application of a personal approach in these activities; (3) to what extent does it contribute to increasing student intelligence; and (4) what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. Based on these formulations, the objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the implementation of pencak silat activities in schools; (2) to analyze the application of a personal approach in the training process; (3) to identify the influence of activities on student intelligence as a whole; and (4) to evaluate the factors that influence the success of the activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is obtained through triangulation of sources and methods, while research instruments include observation guides, interview guidelines, and school documents. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Pencak silat activities run routinely and effectively with the support of schools and professional trainers; (2) a personal approach is applied through individual guidance and emotional relationships between trainers and students; (3) these activities improve students' intelligence kinesthetically, interpersonally, and intrapersonally; and (4) the main supporting factors are the commitment of trainers and school support, while the main constraint is limited facilities. The conclusion of this study states that (1) Pencak silat activities at SMA Muhammadiyah-10 Rantauprapat run effectively in shaping students' personalities and intelligence; (2) a personal approach increases students' motivation, self-confidence, and active participation; (3) Pencak silat significantly supports the achievement of holistic education goals through strengthening religious and social values; and (4) these activities can be used as a strategic model for developing character education and student intelligence in Islamic-based schools. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh empat rumusan masalah, yaitu: (1) bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pencak silat di SMA Muhammadiyah-10 Rantauprapat; (2) bagaimana penerapan pendekatan personal dalam kegiatan tersebut; (3) sejauh mana kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan siswa; dan (4) apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Berdasarkan rumusan tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan pencak silat di sekolah; (2) untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan personal dalam proses pelatihan; (3) untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kegiatan terhadap kecerdasan siswa secara menyeluruh; dan (4) untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode, sedangkan instrumen penelitian meliputi panduan observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumen sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kegiatan pencak silat berjalan rutin dan efektif dengan dukungan sekolah dan pelatih profesional; (2) pendekatan personal diterapkan melalui bimbingan individual dan relasi emosional antara pelatih dan siswa; (3) kegiatan ini meningkatkan kecerdasan siswa secara kinestetik, interpersonal, dan intrapersonal; serta (4) faktor pendukung utama adalah komitmen pelatih dan dukungan sekolah, sementara kendala utamanya adalah keterbatasan fasilitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa (1) Kegiatan pencak silat di SMA Muhammadiyah-10 Rantauprapat berjalan efektif dalam membentuk keperibadian dan kecerdasan siswa; (2) pendekatan personal meningkatkan motivasi, kepercayaan diri, dan partisipasi aktif siswa; (3) pencak silat secara nyata mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan holistik melalui penguatan nilai-nilai agama dan sosial; dan (4) kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan model strategis pengembangan pendidikan karakter dan kecerdasan siswa di sekolah berbasis Islam.
