Abstract

Abstract This study aims to see whether there is an effect of using a digital book on the reading ability of students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all class X-MIA SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan and the sample was taken by 72 students with simple random sampling technique. The data technique used a written test in the form of an essay, the instruments used were pretest and posttest. Based on the t-test analysis using SPSS version 22 for windows, it is found that the value of t count< t table (1.241< 1.667). This shows that the ability to overcome students' reading skills by using digital books is better than students who use conventional learning models. Therefore, learning using a digital book can be used in implementing English learning at SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan for the 2020/2021 school year.

Abstract

Abstract Clustering is making a visual map the students to think creativity. This research aims to determine whetherclustering technique affect students’ vocabulary mastery or not.The design used in this research was QuasiExperimental. The population in this research were all class VII Mts Al-Washliyah Tanjung Haloban 2018/2019 academic year consisting of 84 people. The research sample was taken using a saturated sample technique with the experimental method. Test was used as the instrument in this research. The test were pre-test and post-test.The mean of student learning outcomes using clustering technique is 78.36 with a standard deviation of 7.18 while those that do not use is 59.52 with a standard deviation of 14.86. from the difference of mean values from real level a is 0.05 indicates that students who get treatment clustering technique is better than those who don't get it. so that it can be seen that the use of clustering technique affect students' vocabulary mastery at Mts Al-Washliyah Tanjung Haloban Academic Year 2018/2019. Keyword :Vocabulary and Clustering technique

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe (1) online learning media used in the teaching and learning process in the new normal era, (2) students’ understanding of the use of online learning media, (3) students’ preference of the way of communication, and (4) students’ preference of material form. The participants of this research are the students of English Education Study Program at Universitas Al Washliyah (UNIVA) Labuhanbatu. The instrument of the research is questionnaire distributed via Google Form. Data analysis technique used in this study consists of data colletion, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The result shows that the most frequently used online learning media are WhatsApp and Google Classroom. Almost all students understand how to operate WhatsApp, Zoom, and Email. As many as 47% students choose two-way semi communication in teaching learning process. Using video as the material form in teaching learning proces is the most preferred by students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari aplikasi DuoLingo terhadapkemampuan pengucapan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahmetode kuantitatif. Data pada penelitian ini didapat melalui pre test dan post test. Rata – rata skorpre test dari kelas eksperimen adalah 15,694 dan dari kelas control adalah 14,417. Setelahmendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi DuoLingo, skor rata – rata dari kelasexperiment meningkat menjadi 18,944. Sedangkan skor rata – rata kelas control yang tidakdiberikan pembelajaran dengan DuoLingo meningkat sedikit menjadi 16,305. Hasil dari T- testjuga menunjukkan bahwa skor rata – rata post test dari kelas experiment lebih tinggi daripadakelas controlHal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi DuoLingo berpengaruh terhadapkemampuan pengucapan siswa di kelas X SMA N 2 Rantau Utara.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to improve pronunciation skill by using English Pronunciation Digital at MAN Labuhanbatu especially eleventh grade. The population of this study is all eleventh grade with total of 129. In this study, researchers used two classes. They are control class and experimental class and as the sample is XI MIPA 3 as control class with 30 students. The research result showed that using English Pronunciation Digital can improve pronunciation skill. Since the result is proved by t-test is lower than pre-test and post-test that the value of sig 0,000 < at level 0,05. The resulting value t of in the experimental is df29 is 1,699 the resulting t value experimental class is 19,994 then tcount > ttable (19,994> 1,699). While the value of in the control class is 13,750 then tcount> ttable (13,750 > 1,699). From this, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so that there are any improving the students’ Pronunciation from English Pronunciation Digital on the students’ skill in the class XI MIPA 4.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the process of developing narrative text integrated on kurikulum merdeka and to determine whether the product has an impact on English achievement for the tenth grades students at MAN Labuhanbatu. This research are Research and Development (R&D) by using ADDIE model. To gather information, two different kinds of questionnaires were employed and post-test. The first questionnaire was created to collect information for the needs analysis, the second to evaluate materials using professional judgment, and the last to evaluate the efficacy of the product. The created materials were deemed suitable based on the outcomes of the expert judgment. The developed narrative text materials were categorized as "Very Good" with a mean score of 3.95 across all aspects. The developed narrative text material has an impact on English achievement, 88.88% were obtained based on post-test and categorize as “Good”. Based on the results, it shows that the developed narrative text material is categorized as very good and has an impact on students' English learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Islam Terhadap Karakter Peserta Didik Kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Pangkatan ,baik secara Tes maupun Non Tes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah para Siswa Kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1, waktu penelitian dari bulan Desember sampai April 2024. Penentuan tehnik sampel menggunakan pendapat Arikunto dengan jumlah 35 orang dan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis Tes, Uji Validas Tes,Reliabilitas, dan Uji hipotesis.Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil pengujian hipotesis secara parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam berpengaruh terhadap Karakter Peserta Didik Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Pangkatan, dengan nilai variabel Kedisiplinan thitung sebesar 3,329 sedangkan ttabel 1.689 (thitung > dari ttabel). Hasil pengujian Koefisien determinasi (R2) dapat diketahui nilai Adjusted R square sebesar 0,229 atau 22,9% menunjukkan bahwa Pendidkan Agama Islam memberikan kontribusi terhadap Karakter Peserta Didik sebesar 77,1%Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, Karakter Peserta Didik. AbstractThis research aims to determine the influence of Islamic religious education on the character of Class XI Science students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkatan, both through tests and non-tests. The population in this study were Class XI Science Students at SMA Negeri 1, the research period was from December to April 2024. Determining the sample technique used Arikunto's opinion with a total of 35 people and the analysis method used was the Test analysis method, Test Validity Test, Reliability, and Hypothesis Testing.In this research, the method used was a quantitative method. The results of partial hypothesis testing (t test) show that Islamic religious education has an effect on the character of Class The results of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) test show that the Adjusted R square value is 0.229 or 22.9%, indicating that Islamic Religious Education contributes 77.1% to the Character of Students.Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, Student Character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMK Al Bukhary Rantau Prapat. The Merdeka Curriculum is an innovation that provides flexibility for educational institutions to develop learning methods relevant to students' needs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is tested using triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning at SMK Al Bukhary Rantau Prapat has undergone significant changes through a project-based learning approach and differentiated learning, which emphasize not only cognitive aspects but also affective and psychomotor aspects. The main challenges in implementing this curriculum include limited facilities and infrastructure, teachers’ readiness to adapt to new approaches, variations in students' abilities and motivation, and lack of parental involvement in supporting learning. Despite these challenges, the Merdeka Curriculum has had a positive impact on enhancing teachers' creativity in teaching and fostering students' character development in alignment with the Profile of Pancasila Students. This study recommends the need for collaboration among all stakeholders to create more contextual, applicable, and relevant PAI learning that meets the demands of the modern era.
