Abstract

The most important limitation in process design for agricultural products is the lack of information on their thermal properties. Although a lot of experimental data can be found, the variety of products and the differences in measurement method make limitation on the value of the available data, especially for Indonesias products. These data are required to get information about temperature change when product is processed like heating or cooling. It is worth due to optimizing the efficiency of energy. The objective of this study was to determine thermal diffusivity and conductivity of java turmeric and zedoary herbs. The values were determined numerically with indirect methods. The result showed that specific heat of java turmeric and zedoary were 2.835 kJ/ kgoC and 2.863 kJ/ kgoC, thermal conductivity were 0.2797 W/moC and 0.1359 W/moC, respectively, while thermal diffusivity were 9.34x10-8 m2/s and 1.00x10-7 m2/s, respectively.ABSTRAKDalam merancang suatu sistem proses dan peralatan pengolahan hasil pertanian diperlukan pengetahuan tentang sifat-sifat panas suatu bahan diantaranya panas jenis, konduktivitas, dan difusivitas panas. Nilai-nilai tersebut untuk produk pertanian lokal sangat jarang ditemukan, sehingga dalam aplikasinya sering digunakan data sifat panas dari literatur luar yang belum tentu sesuai dan tepat dengan produk dalam negeri. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya bias dalam perhitungan dan perancangan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sifat-sifat/properti panas dari tanaman obat temu lawak dan temu putih. Hasil studi mendapatkan bahwa panasjenis temu lawak dan temu putih adalah masing-masing 2.835 kJ/ kgoC dan 2.863 kJ/ kgoC, konduktivitas panas masing-masing adalah 0.2797 W/moC dan 0.1359 W/moC, sedangkan nilai difusivitas panasnya masing-masing adalah 9.34x10-8 m2/detik dan 1.00x10-7 m2/detik.

Abstract

Gambier is the extract of Uncaria gambir Roxb leaves. The use of gambier in mouthwash formulae is one of the efforts of exploring gambier advantages. The existing commercialized mouthwash have quite a high alcohol. The use of a mouthwashes with alcohol contain more than of 25% will increase the risk of generating. mouth and throat cancers up to 50%. The objective of this research using to find the type and bestconcentration of gambier in the mouthwash formula, so that it could be have accepted by consumer. The experiment was in complete random factorial design with two factors andthree levels. The first factor was gambier concentration (1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%), and the second factor was tud of storage (at weekly until one month). Result showed that gambier with low catechin (25-35%) and tannins (60-65%) had the highest resistance to Streptococcus mutans (up 41.77 %). The antibacterial activity of gambier mouthwash was in the range 20.45 - 43.24%, while the control (Pepsodent Herbal) was 28.25%. The pH of gambier mouthwash was 4.14 - 4.38, while that of the control was 4.66. The viscosity of the mouthwash was 2.75 - 4.75 cP, while the control was 7.25 cP. Both the gambier mouthwash and the control had showed that gambier mouthwash with gambier concentration of 1 % was the most preferred by consumers.

Abstract

Media sosial memudahkan proses interaksi sosial dengan konektivitas tanpa batasan ruang dan waktu. Interaksi yang didukung oleh media sosial Instagram adalah berbagi konten gambar dan video, memberikan komentar dan berbincang secara langsung. Fitur berbagi konten kini banyak dimanfaatkan untuk menampilkan conspicuous consumption atau konsumsi mencolok yang bertujuan untuk memposisikan diri seseorang dalam status sosial. Konten tersebut dinilai sebagai konten narsistik untuk membentuk citra ideal dari seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sikap, perilaku, dan pendapat dari sudut pandang subjek perilaku konsumsi mencolok untuk konten di media sosial. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perilaku konsumsi mencolok untuk konten narsistik di media sosial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perilaku tersebut didorong oleh faktor sosiopsikologis dan persepsi yang muncul dari interaksi sosial dan mendorong seseorang untuk meniru atau melakukan perilaku tertentu. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana situs media Tempo.co memberitakan kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A Van Dijk. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada analisis struktur makro, superstruktur, dan struktur mikro dalam lima artikel berita terkait kekerasan terhadap perempuan di Tempo.co. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa struktur berita belum selalu memenuhi syarat pendahuluan, isi, dan penutup, terutama dalam aspek penutup atau kesimpulan. Walaupun demikian, judul berita yang menarik perhatian pembaca menjadi daya tarik utama dalam pemberitaan kekerasan terhadap perempuan di Tempo.co. Adanya penggunaan tema yang mencolok dan menarik dari wartawan menunjukkan upaya untuk menarik perhatian pembaca. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberitaan di Tempo.co cenderung menekankan aspek-aspek tertentu dan mungkin belum sepenuhnya memenuhi analisis wacana kritis dalam segi struktur makro, superstruktur, dan struktur mikro. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman awal terkait cara media menyajikan berita mengenai kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan dampaknya terhadap kesadaran publik. Abstract

Pembentukan konsep pernikahan dapat terbentuk dari marriage attitude yang dimiliki individu Salah satu cara agar dapat membentuk sikap terhadap pernikahan adalah dengan memberikan edukasi pernikahan pada dewasa awal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian psikoedukasi marriage education terhadap marriage attitude pada dewasa awal. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 88 orang dengan 44 orang pada kelompok eksperimen dan 44 orang merupakan kelompok kontrol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Marriage Attitude Scale (MAS). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Man U Whitney dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa psikoedukasi marriage education berpengaruh secara efekrif terhadap  marriage education pada dewasa awal.

Abstract

Music has an important role in Christian worship. Harmonious music is solemnity if the Worship leader and musician church can carry out their duties properly. Worship leader and musician communicate using symbols when leading worship. This research aims to determine how the meaning of the communication symbols of church music groups in maintaining the harmonization of worship music. This research uses qualitative method with a symbolic interaction study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The informant determination technique used is purposive sampling.. The results of the study found 2 parts of the symbol. Namely song map and keytone. The song map symbol is a part of a song element that is used when the music is already running and is given when the musical verse is about to end, with the aim of bridging every movement of the musical verse. Keytone symbols are used to align the chords. The language used verbally and nonverbally. The key tone is used by worship leaders to music priests, and music priests to one another. The music priest has a dominant role according to the symbol of the song map. The keyboardist has a role on the cooling down section, guitarist on interlude, drums on full music and overtones. Worship leaders and music priests must have spiritual criteria as pulpit ministers, because spiritual criteria are the main key to be good to God.

Abstract

This article is entitled The Role of Family Communication in Developing Early Childhood Reading Interests. This article looks at family communication which is very important in making children have a high interest in reading where both parents are the first school for children, especially early childhood. The method used is a literature study by taking references related to the role of family communication and the development of children's reading interests at an early age. The results of the study showed that fostering reading interest in early childhood is done by parents not only by giving orders to children but by providing the best example, namely parents showing great love for books, then the most important thing is to provide assistance when children read and answer correctly related to questions asked by children with language that is understood by children

Abstract

Individu dewasa perlu untuk mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi tahapan baru yaitu sebuah hubungan pernikahan. Namun, terkadang ada hal yang membuat individu dewasa merasa takut untuk bisa membangun pernikahan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara marriage readiness dan fear of commitment pada dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 184 orang dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Sukoon Marital Readiness Scale dan Fear of Relationship Commitment Scale. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis pearson product moment dan didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.00 (p<0.05). Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan antara marriage readiness dan fear of commitment pada dewasa awal yang belum menikah.

Abstract

This study discusses the business transformation of the Modern Fried Chicken MSME through digital media-based marketing communication strategies amidst increasingly tight competition and technological developments. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of using social media, such as Instagram and Facebook, on increasing brand awareness, customer interaction, and loyalty and sales. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach on the Modern Crushed Chicken UMKM, with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and digital content analysis. The results of the study show that the use of social media effectively increases market reach, customer engagement, and contributes directly to increasing short-term sales and long-term customer loyalty. This finding emphasizes the importance of adopting digital communication strategies in supporting the growth of MSMEs in the digital era. The implications of this research provide practical insights for MSMEs in utilizing digital technology to strengthen competitiveness and improve business performance.

Abstract

A marriage bond needs to be built and formed from the readiness of each individual to build a family. In Indonesia, there is a phenomenon of postponement of marriage. Many young people aged 16-30 years have decided to postpone marriage which is supported by a decrease in the marriage rate in the last 10 years. In addition to the decrease in the marriage rate, it is also marked by an increase in the divorce rate in the 2021-2022 period. Based on this phenomenon, indicates a lack of community readiness in building a marriage bond. Marriage readiness is important to have to form a family that is good physically, socially emotionally, sexually, morally and committed. Psychoeducation related to marriage preparation is one way to form marriage readiness. The purpose of implementing this PKM activity is to change negative perceptions about marriage and provide an understanding of marriage preparation for unmarried young adults. The results of the pretest and posttest given obtained a higher mean posttest value compared to the pretest. Based on the evaluation of the activities given to the participants, psychoeducation was able to provide a better perception of marriage and increase early adult understanding of preparation for building a marriage. This indicates that psychoeducation can provide new understanding information for early adult individuals' marriage readiness. Suatu ikatan pernikahan perlu dibangun dan dibentuk dari adanya kesiapan masing-masing individu dalam membangun sebuah keluarga. Di Indonesia terdapat fenomena penundaan pernikahan. Pemuda di usia 16-30 tahun banyak yang memutuskan untuk menunda pernikahan yang didukung dengan penurunan angka pernikahan pada 10 tahun terakhir. Selain penurunan angka pernikahan juga ditandai dengan peningkatan angka perceraian di kurung waktu tahun 2021-2022. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut mengindikasikan kurangnya kesiapan masyarakat dalam membangun ikatan pernikahan. Marriage readiness penting dimiliki agar dapat terbentuk keluarga yang baik secara fisik, sosial emosional, seksual, moral dan komitmen. Psikoedukasi yang berkaitan dengan persiapan pernikahan merupakan salah satu cara membentuk marriage readiness. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk mengubah persepsi negatif tentang pernikahans serta memberikan pemahaman tentang persiapan pernikahan pada dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan yang diberikan pada peserta, psikoedukasi mampu untuk memberikan persepsi yang lebih baik tentang pernikahan serta menambah pemahaman dewasa awal tentang persiapan membangun sebuah pernikahan.
