Abstract

This study aims to explain the strategy for developing learning materials of Research Methodology courses oriented to O.B.E based curriculum. This study used a qualitative research approach with research and development design. The focus of the research is the process of developing learning materials for Research Methodology courses oriented to O.B.E based curriculum, starting from needs analysis phase to implementation phase. Data were collected using observation techniques. Furthermore, the data were analysed using descriptive narrative technique. Based on the analysis, it is obtained a description that to develop learning materials for Research Methodology courses oriented to O.B.E based curriculum, should carry out the following activities: (1) conduct an analysis of the characteristics and objectives of O.B.E based curriculum and Research Methodology courses, (2) prepare the design of learning materials for Research Methodology courses that are in accordance with the objectives and characteristics of O.B.E based curriculum, (3) develop learning materials, (4) validate learning materials, (5) revise learning materials, and (6) conduct a try out of learning materials. By using this strategy, it can be obtained learning materials for Research Methodology courses that are valid, practical, and effective which can be used to support the implementation of O.B.E based curriculum.

Abstract

When applying your knowledge of a foreign language, it is crucial to adhere to ethical and respectable linguistic rules. Grammar and vocabulary are what require in language. Students will have an easier time learning foreign languages if they comprehend grammatical conventions and become fluent in their vocabulary because these skills are crucial for performing language acts. Language skills and the fundamental abilities of kids in speaking, listening, reading, and writing both include vocabulary. It is important to maximize vocabulary development when learning French at school. Therefore, more engaging instruction is required to increase vocabulary acquisition, complemented by the best possible use of technology as a learning medium. By providing French learning materials in the form of an educational Android game that teachers may use to master vocabulary, this hopes to digitize French instruction in schools and make it more engaging for kids.

Abstract

Le développement du matériel d'apprentissage de l'heure en utilisant des vidéos d'animation Zepeto à SMA Negeri 21 Medan exploite les technologies modernes pour améliorer l'apprentissage des langues étrangères. Basée sur la méthode R&D de Richey et Klein (2009), cette étude vise à concevoir un module interactif enseignant l'heure et la date en français. Les vidéos pédagogiques avec Zepeto, intégrant des animations et personnages personnalisés, renforcent l'engagement et la compréhension des élèves. Les évaluations montrent une réussite : le module écrit a obtenu 86, et la vidéo pédagogique 92. Les révisions ont amélioré la clarté, rendant le matériel attrayant et fonctionnel. Cette étude conclut que les vidéos Zepeto offrent une expérience d'apprentissage motivante et efficace, favorisant l'assimilation des concepts linguistiques chez les élèves.

Abstract

The marhaban art tradition in Pekan Labuhan represents a coastal cultural heritage rich in religious, social, and historical values. However, limited regeneration, weak digital promotion, and a lack of innovation have contributed to its declining presence. This community engagement program aims to revitalize the Jami’ul Khoir group through intergenerational training, the development of innovative performance models, and the use of digital technologies for documentation and promotion. The methods employed include community outreach, artistic and media training, the application of innovative musical arrangements, digital content production, and ongoing mentorship. The program’s outcomes include increased youth participation, the creation of contemporary marhaban arrangements, the establishment of a digital archive, and the strengthening of the creative economy through merchandise production. Ultimately, this initiative not only enhances the visibility of marhaban but also reinforces coastal cultural identity and creates new economic opportunities rooted in local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis Universitas Negeri Medan (Unimed) terhadap penggunaan pendekatan Blend-Deep Learning dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan ini menggabungkan pembelajaran campuran (blended learning) dengan teknologi deep learning untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih adaptif, interaktif, dan personal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap 15 mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola persepsi, pengalaman, serta tantangan yang dihadapi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pendekatan Blend-Deep Learning karena dianggap mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperkuat pemahaman materi, serta memberikan fleksibilitas dalam mengakses pembelajaran. Namun demikian, beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan akses internet, kurangnya literasi teknologi, dan adaptasi terhadap sistem pembelajaran digital masih menjadi tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan bahasa asing di perguruan tinggi.
