Community service activities are one of the TRI DHARMA universityâ€™s obligations. On this occasion, it was reported that community service activities needed improvement in the health sector. The location of this activity is in Pangambatan Village, Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara and this activity is planned to begin in April until September 2019. The problem in the field is to increase the flow of tourists to Kecamatan Merek to make the need for adequate toilet facilities (MCK). Besides that, it was also found that the community's need for clean water and toilets were used daily by the community. The solution offered is to renovate the MCK facilities for the daily needs of the community and in addition to the toilet facilities for tourists who visit to the village. It is hoped that through this activity the problems in the local community can be overcome.

The objective of this study is to examine the role of work activities and knowledge sharing in employee sustainable social well-being. The moderating role of supply chain education (SCE) was also examined. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between work activities, knowledge sharing, SCE and sustainable social well-being. Population of the study is the garment companies of Indonesia. Employees of these companies were selected as the respondents. Consequently, data collection was performed among the garment companies of Indonesia. For the purpose of data collection, questionnaire was distribution among the garment company employees. Data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS). Results of the study highlighted that work activities have positive effect on sustainable social well-being. Knowledge sharing also shows the positive effect on sustainable social well-being. Moreover, SCE shows positive influence to enhance the sustainable social well-being directly and by playing the moderating role between work activities and sustainable social well-being.

Abstrak: Komputer semakin dikenal oleh masyarakat sebagai akibat dari perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sangat cepat. Komputer sekarang digunakan bukan hanya sebagai alat untuk mengolah data tetapi juga sebagai alat yang membantu orang melakukan berbagai tugas, baik di kantor maupun di rumah. Komputer juga sudah mulai digunakan di sekolah, membantu siswa belajar. Pendidikan harus melakukan inovasi untuk mendorong pertumbuhan bahasa asing. Salah satunya adalah menggunakan media sebagai alat pembelajaran bahasa asing. Ini disebabkan oleh fakta bahwa metode pembelajaran konvensional, di mana guru menjelaskan dan siswa hanya duduk dan mendengarkan, dianggap kurang efektif dalam memberikan pembelajaran. Dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran bahasa prancis ini, pendekatan komputer terbantu pembelajaran digunakan. CAI adalah program pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan komputer dengan struktur program yang terdiri dari desain bentuk (aplikasi perangkat lunak), isi (pesan pembelajaran), dan pendukung (perangkat lunak yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan program, teks, audio, video, grafis, dan sebagainya). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa membuat media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia untuk bahasa Prancis memiliki prospek yang baik. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Bahasa Prancis, Multimedia, CAI. Abstract: Computers are increasingly known by the public as a result of the rapid development of information technology. Computers are now used not only as a tool to process data but also as a tool that helps people perform various tasks, both in the office and at home. Computers have also begun to be used in schools, helping students learn. Education must innovate to encourage the growth of foreign languages. One of them is using media as a foreign language learning tool. This is due to the fact that conventional learning methods, where teachers explain and students just sit and listen, are considered less effective in delivering learning. In the development of this French language learning media, a computer-aided learning approach is used. CAI is a learning program by utilizing a computer with a program structure consisting of form design (software application), content (learning message), and supporting (software needed to run the program, text, audio, video, graphics, and so on). The results of this study show that making multimedia-based learning media for French has good prospects. Keywords: Learning Media, French, Multimedia, CAI.

When applying your knowledge of a foreign language, it is crucial to adhere to ethical and respectable linguistic rules. Grammar and vocabulary are what require in language. Students will have an easier time learning foreign languages if they comprehend grammatical conventions and become fluent in their vocabulary because these skills are crucial for performing language acts. Language skills and the fundamental abilities of kids in speaking, listening, reading, and writing both include vocabulary. It is important to maximize vocabulary development when learning French at school. Therefore, more engaging instruction is required to increase vocabulary acquisition, complemented by the best possible use of technology as a learning medium. By providing French learning materials in the form of an educational Android game that teachers may use to master vocabulary, this hopes to digitize French instruction in schools and make it more engaging for kids.

One of the several foreign exchange industries with considerable expansion potential is tourism. One is the province of North Sumatra, which has numerous intriguing tourist attractions. Advertising and inadequate tourism information management systems are factors that are impeding the growth of the tourism industry. The younger generation still has very little understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications for Chatbots and support services. A program called a Chatbot makes to hold chats for you. As a result, instruction requires in the design and use of deep-learning Chatbots. By offering guidance, examples, and hands-on training on tourist Chatbot prototypes from North Sumatra, this non-profit endeavor attempted to address the issue at hand. The PKM program's activities include: 1) instruction in marketing strategies including tourist information management systems. 2) instruction in the fundamental ideas of artificial intelligence, particularly Chatbots. 3) instruction in deep learning for Chatbot construction; 4) instruction in utilizing the Chatbot application. It envisaged that the outcomes of this activity would promote public awareness usage of Chatbot applications to discover data regarding tourist attractions around the province of North Sumatra as awareness among tourists.

This non-profit initiative aimed to tackle the issue by providing direction, examples, and practical training on tourist Chatbot prototypes specifically from North Sumatra. The PKM curriculum offers teaching in marketing methods, specifically focusing on tourist information management systems. 2) Education on the core concepts of artificial intelligence, specifically focusing on Chatbots. 3) Training in deep learning for constructing Chatbots; 4) Training in using the Chatbot application. The purpose of this activity is to increase public knowledge and usage of Chatbot applications for obtaining information about tourism destinations in the province of North Sumatra, in order to raise awareness among tourists.

This research aims to generally address the continuously increasing number of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia. Illegal Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia are vulnerable to exploitation, abuse, and legal violations. The lack of understanding of immigration laws and legal protections can make them more vulnerable to adverse situations. Therefore, basic legal education and skills for illegal immigrant workers become important to enhance protection and social integration for these illegal migrant workers. The profile of the area where the service will take place is the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Malaysia. The Indonesian Consulate General (KBRI) is located at No.46, Jl. Taat, Off Jalan Tun Abdul Razak 80100 Johor Bahru, Johor Malaysia. The goal of the community partnership program for illegal Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia is to provide basic knowledge about employment, including rights and obligations as citizens, so that they can anticipate potential conflicts arising from their illegal status. Indonesia is a renowned tourist destination worldwide. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a decrease in both foreign and domestic tourist visits. Therefore, this research aims to develop a Telegram-based ChatBot application to increase post-pandemic tourist visits. The ChatBot is designed to make it easier for tourists to obtain information related to transportation and accommodation at tourist attractions. The ChatBot is built using the Knuth-Morris-Pratt (KMP) algorithm and web scraping method. The ChatBot's response to the keyword matching is then presented to tourists. To measure travelers' perceptions of ChatBot, the System Usability Scale (SUS) was used. SUS is a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions that were answered by 20 anonymous users. Based on the calculations, the average SUS score is 71, which indicates that the developed ChatBot is in the good category and suitable for use. Using this ChatBot will make it easier for tourists to obtain tourism information in Indonesia. With its ability to retrieve relevant information related to transportation and accommodation at tourist attractions, the ChatBot can serve as a useful tool to increase post-pandemic tourist visits.

This study investigates the enhancement of English writing assessments focusing on local cuisine as a thematic subject. A comprehension test was employed as a key instrument to measure students' progress and evaluate their understanding of the lessons delivered. Following the test administration, the teacher utilized appropriate assessment methods to ensure accurate evaluation. The primary objective of this research is to develop and refine writing assessments for English language learners, particularly within the context of local culinary topics. The study adopted a Research and Development (R&D) approach, structured into six distinct stages: (1) information and data collection, (2) data analysis, (3) development of new writing assessments, (4) expert validation, (5) revision of assessments, and (6) finalization of the validated tool. Data was gathered through interviews and questionnaires distributed to English teachers. Two evaluators—an English lecturer and an English instructor—provided critical validation of the assessment tools. The evaluation framework emphasized three core competencies: attitude, knowledge, and skill, incorporating a formative and authentic assessment approach. The writing tasks centered on topics such as local dishes, pastries, and beverages, integrating cultural elements into language learning. The assessment instruments underwent validation by two professionals, yielding an excellent classification score of 93%, indicating the reliability and effectiveness of the developed tools. The study underscores the significance of culturally relevant content in English language learning, fostering deeper engagement and contextual understanding among students. By integrating local cuisine into writing assessments, the research highlights the potential to enhance both linguistic competence and cultural awareness, promoting a more holistic educational experience.
