Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase employee and community knowledge about the importance of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees designed by the company to improve employee mental health productivity. This service program is expected to help employees to prevent, identify and resolve employee problems, especially mental health, which impacts employee performance. This service activity is carried out at PT. X Palembang. The method of implementing community service activities is carried out to solve problems that exist among employees of PT. X Palembang related to mental health problems in the form of counseling efforts on the application and use of EAP program services at PT. X Palembang. The results of this community service activity are in the form of companion services for employees of PT. X Palembang to conduct coaching and counseling sessions to help solve employee problems to improve employee mental health.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential skill for students in the digital age. Google Play Book, as a digital book platform, offers interactive features such as text search, digital notes, and audiobooks, which can improve literacy. This service activity aims to introduce Google Play Book to seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Baubau through theory and practice-based socialization. As a result, students were able to operate the application, including searching for books and utilizing its features. They also showed an increased interest in reading and awareness of the importance of digital sources as a complement to printed books. Although there are drawbacks, such as dependence on technology, the benefits in expanding access to learning and encouraging independent learning are significant. This activity is expected to be the first step in building a culture of digital literacy in schools and encouraging the wise use of technology for education. Thus, students can be better prepared to face the challenges of learning in the digital world.

Abstract

Seni merupakan sebuah ekspresi perasaan manusia, yang di dalamnya mengandung unsur estetika atau keindahan, serta dapat dirasakan oleh panca indra manusia. Perkembangan seni di Indonesia khususnya daerah Toraja Utara sendiri sangatlah baik, ini dibuktikan dengan berdirinya kelompok-kelompok dan grup seni lokal di Toraja, dan banyaknya kegiatan pertunjukan seni yang diselenggarakan tiap tahun. Bahkan, sudah menjadi agenda rutin, sesuai dengan program Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Toraja yaitu mengembangkan pariwisata di Toraja, sebagai tujuan meningkatkan daya tarik wisata di antaranya, mengembangkan event - event baik tradisional maupun modern, atau event tradisional yang dikemas secara modern, dengan memperhatikan kondisi lingkungan sebagai nilai jual. Rancangan ini harus sesuai standar dapat mewadahi segala aktivitas dan pengembangan kesenian, serta menghadirkan sebuah pusat seni yang ramah lingkungan. Seiring perkembangan teknologi dan gagasan perancangan bangunan yang semakin baik dan modern, bangunan saat ini mulai didesain dengan mengintegrasikan potensi alam sekitar dengan ruangan yang ada di dalamnya, yang kita kenal dengan sustainable architecture. konsep arsitektur yang berusaha meminimalkan dampak negatif lingkungan bangunan, dengan efisiensi penggunaan energi, yaitu memanfaatkan sinar matahari sebagai pencahayaan buatan dengan desain bukaan dan sun shading. Material, yaitu menggunakan sebagian material lokal seperti bambu, batu alam, dan kayu sisa bekisting untuk elemen dekoratif interior. Limbah, mengolah kembali limbah untuk kebutuhan bangunan. Ekonomi, memanfaatkan sebagian lahan untuk kegiatan perkebunan sebagai keberlanjutan komoditas dan ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan berbahasa pada bidang morfologi atau kata pada banner program studi penerimaan mahasiswa baru Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kata yang ada dalam banner program studi penerimaan mahasiswa baru yang berjumlah delapan banner yang telah didokumentasikan oleh peneliti. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Fokus penelitian ini berada pada tataran kata dan kesalahan yang paling sering ditemukan ialah kecenderungan penggunaan kata tidak baku serta kesalahan penulisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan penulisan kata pada delapan banner ini adalah, karena kurangnya pemahaman terhadap penulisan ejaan serta kurangnya ketelitian dalam penulisan sehingga menyebabkan kesalahan penulisan.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial factor that determines the success of education at the elementary school level. However, some students still exhibit low motivation despite the teacher's efforts to create engaging learning experiences. This study aims to explore the teacher's role as a motivator in enhancing the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Sindue. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation involving one teacher and six students categorized as having high and low motivation. The results show that the teacher implemented various strategies such as stimulating learning interest, creating a pleasant atmosphere, giving praise, assessments, rewards, and competitions. These strategies were found effective in increasing motivation for most students, although some students faced internal obstacles such as laziness and lack of self-confidence, as well as external obstacles like difficulty with the material and an unfavorable learning environment. The study highlights the importance of individualized and adaptive approaches by teachers to sustain student learning motivation. The implications of this research emphasize the need for teacher training in implementing more personal and context-specific motivational strategies. This study also contributes to the literature on learning motivation at the elementary level through an empirically grounded, context-specific approach.
