Abstract

The selection of good achievement lecturers is a recognition for those lecturers who already had been conducting three principles of higher education with very good results. The selection of those lecturers in The University of Lampung is conducted annually. In the process of selection, the university will appoint assessing team to conduct assessments to the candidates. However, this assessment process is still conducted manually so that it will take a time to process the data. In addition, the assessment is still subjective in nature and is not yet relevant to the real conditions. Based on this background, the objective of this research was to build a decision support system to use in conducting selection process of good achievement lecturers in The University of Lampung. This decision support system was built based on web by using PHP programming language and MySQL as database, and Simple Additive Weighting method for making the decision. This method was used to determine point values of each criterion, and then ranked score was made to determine the best solution. The testing of the application using black box showed that this system was able to run properly. The results also influence the academic atmosphere and institutional quality. Keywords: decision support system, selection of good achievement lecturers , simple additive weighting

Abstract

Biology is part of science that have special characteristics different from other sciences, in terms of objects, issues and methods as well as having many terms and have the object form of the Kingdom (kingdom): Animalia (animal’s world), Plantae (plant’s world), Monera, Protista, and Fungi. Object numbering thousands of types into its own difficulties to learn it. One way to make it easier to learn it is grouping or classification of organism is called Taxonomy and the scientific name is called Binomial Nomenclature. In this study, to learn the classification and scientific nomenclature, then created taxonomy’s application based on Android, which aims to facilitate students in classifying organism consist of Kingdom, Sub Kingdom, Super Division, Division, class, Sub class, Ordo, Family, Genus, and species. This application is designed and then implemented using the Java programming language for Android, MySQL and Web Server to manipulate the data that is needed, and updates the database periodically. The results of data test using Equivalence Partitioning test shown the application functionate well according to the analysis. In addition, based on questionnaire data, that the application is a user friendly application (with an average value of 4,17 / good), and interactive (with an average value of 4,08 / good).Keywords : Android, Application, Binomial Nomenclature, Taxonomy.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a term for an environment that combines real world and virtual world, where objects in real world can be recognized through the position, direction, and location. One of AR technology which is currently being developed is Markerless Augmented Reality, with this technology, users no longer need to use a marker to display digital elements. This technology can also be used to visualize information interactively, especially when this technology is integrated with mobile devices such as smartphones that have Android operating system. Camera feature, internet, accelerometer, digital maps and GPS (Global Positioning System) on Android devices can be integrated so that AR technology can be implemented. In this research, Markerless Augmented Reality technology is implemented to detect and find out the location of the nearest gas station in Bandar Lampung city. This application was designed and then implemented by using Java for Android programming language and Beyond AR framework to detect and display AR object and the Google Maps API to display a map of  location of gas stations. The result of testing data using an Equivalence Partitioning testing indicates that the application can function in accordance with the analysis. Additionally, based on questionnaire data, this application is a user friendly application (with an average grade of 4.29 / Excellent) and interactive (with an average grade of 4.20 / Well).

Abstract

Recipes are needed as a means to guide people when preparing ingredients for cooking, making and serving food. These days there are more and more smartphone users and Android is the most dominant operating system. Android based smartphone is very easy to use, so many people choose  it.  Case   Based Reasoning (CBR) is  a  problem solving approach by emphasizing the role of prior experience. New problems can be solved by utilizing toward similar problems that have been solved before. In this study, we design and build a Recipe Recommendations Apps for Android  and applying Case-Based Reasoning method.   This application provide recommendations of any recipes of Indonesian Foods that can be made by inputting available ingredients and step by step of cooking and the way they are presented. This evaluation show that the application successfully constructed and useful for user.

Abstract

Nowadays the internet is growing rapidly including in Indonesia. Internet has become an essential requirement for everyone to get information or other purposes. The benefits of internet make  many people use the internet as appliances for supporting their activities. The use of internet has an impact on the increasing demand to the internet services provider. Internet provider is a company which engaged in providing internet services. In the process of instalation and troubleshooting for internet network, the provider requires a management information system which is used to organize the division of task for handling the installation and troubleshooting of internet network. The internet provider who has not had a management system yet, will get difficulties to devide the tasks of their employees for handling the process of installation and troubleshooting of the internet network. This research, created a management information system for installation and troubleshooting of internet network service which is recieve the information of internet interference from the customers and help in handling process division of tasks for installing and troubleshooting of internet network. This management information system was created using PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor) and some plugins such as twitter bootstrap and high chart. The result of Black Box testing showed that this management information system for installation and troubleshooting of internet network service has been successfully created as the users need.Keywords: Internet, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Management Information Systems (MIS), PHP.

Abstract

Smartphone is internet-enabled mobile that typically provides Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) functionssuch as calendar, to-do books, address books, calculators, and notes. Smartphone has a function thatresembles a computer. In the future, smartphone technology will surpass desktop computer technology,especially in terms of accessing data from internet. Abstract

Pengelolaan data sampah yang efektif merupakan tantangan penting dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan mendukung upaya daur ulang. Sistem informasi pengelolaan data sampah diperlukan untuk memudahkan proses pencatatan, pemantauan, dan analisis data sampah yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pengelolaan data sampah dengan menggunakan model pengembangan prototype. Model ini dipilih karena fleksibilitasnya dalam merespon kebutuhan pengguna melalui pengujian dan iterasi yang berkelanjutan. Sistem informasi yang dirancang meliputi beberapa modul utama, seperti pencatatan jenis sampah, pengelolaan data transaksi, dan pelaporan hasil pengelolaan sampah berbasis diagram. Pengujian sistem akan dilakukan pada beberapa aspek, seperti fungsional dan kompatibilitas. Hasil dari pengujian fungsional ini menunjukkan bahwa semua fungsi berjalan dengan baik, sedangkan pengujian kompatibilitas memiliki beberapa potensi masalah pada tampilan di beberapa browser.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan pengembangan sebuah Sistem Penjaminan Mutu berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) untuk Jurusan Ilmu Komputer di Universitas Lampung, dengan fokus utama pada pembaruan modul manajemen pengguna dan pengadaan fitur pembuatan laporan. Sistem sebelumnya menghadapi kendala dalam membedakan peran pengguna yang beragam dan tidak mampu menghasilkan laporan yang dapat diunduh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang modul manajemen pengguna yang dapat mengakomodasi berbagai peran hierarkis—mulai dari Admin Universitas hingga Penjaminan Mutu Program Studi—dan mengimplementasikan fungsionalitas untuk menghasilkan laporan PDF sebagai visualisasi Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL) serta Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK). Dengan mengadopsi metodologi Rapid Application Development (RAD) dan memanfaatkan kerangka kerja PHP Laravel, sistem yang dihasilkan berhasil mengatasi limitasi yang ada. Hasilnya, sistem kini menawarkan manajemen pengguna multi-peran yang komprehensif serta kemampuan untuk membuat laporan PDF yang dapat disesuaikan. Verifikasi melalui pengujian black-box menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsionalitas berjalan sesuai ekspektasi, yang secara signifikan berkontribusi pada efektivitas dan efisiensi proses penjaminan mutu di lingkungan jurusan dan mendukung potensi adopsi yang lebih luas di tingkat institusi.
