Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the strategies that can enhance the quality of teachers through effective academic supervision in educational institutions. The research method used in this study is literature review, which involves analyzing relevant literature to obtain the necessary information. The research findings indicate that academic supervision plays a crucial role in supporting teachers' professional development and improving the quality of instruction. In the context of elementary schools, structured, participatory, and sustainable academic supervision has been proven to enhance the quality of teachers. Additionally, this study identifies several aspects influenced by effective academic supervision, including teachers' motivation and self-confidence, their understanding of the curriculum and learning standards, their ability to plan and implement effective instruction, providing constructive and effective feedback, managing the classroom effectively, and enhancing collaboration between teachers and educational leaders. In implementing effective academic supervision, effective communication, support from school principals, motivation, and teachers' commitment are also important factors. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct regular and sustainable academic supervision, involving open communication, constructive feedback, and continuous professional development. Effective supervision strategies such as formative supervision, cooperative supervision, and the use of evaluation data can also enhance the quality of teaching. Thus, the implementation of effective academic supervision should focus on teachers' professional development and the improvement of student learning outcomes. Keywords: Academic supervision, Teacher quality, Qualitative approach. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas guru melalui supervisi akademik yang efektif di lembaga pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode literatur, yang melibatkan analisis literatur yang relevan untuk memperoleh informasi yang diperlukan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pengembangan profesional guru dan meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran. Dalam konteks sekolah dasar, supervisi akademik yang terstruktur, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan telah terbukti meningkatkan kualitas guru. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa aspek yang dipengaruhi oleh supervisi akademik yang efektif, termasuk motivasi dan kepercayaan diri guru, pemahaman guru terhadap kurikulum dan standar pembelajaran, kemampuan guru dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pengajaran yang efektif, memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif dan efektif, mengelola kelas dengan baik, serta meningkatkan kerja sama antara guru dan pimpinan lembaga pendidikan. Dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik yang efektif, komunikasi yang efektif, dukungan kepala sekolah, motivasi, dan komitmen guru juga menjadi faktor penting. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menjalankan supervisi akademik secara teratur dan berkelanjutan, melibatkan komunikasi terbuka, umpan balik yang konstruktif, dan pengembangan profesional yang berkelanjutan. Strategi supervisi yang efektif, seperti supervisi formatif, supervisi kooperatif, dan penggunaan data evaluasi, juga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran guru. Dengan demikian, implementasi supervisi akademik yang efektif harus berfokus pada pengembangan profesionalisme guru dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran siswa. Abstract

This research utilizes a qualitative method and is conducted at SDN Babakan Raden 02. The data collection techniques employed include observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure data validity, the research undergoes scrutiny based on four criteria: credibility, transferability, dependability, utilizing techniques such as prolonged engagement, persistent observation, peer examination, negative case analysis, cross-checking, and triangulation. The research findings suggest that curriculum management in improving educational quality involves implementing a curriculum that meets the needs and achieves the learning objectives, particularly in realizing the educational goals at SDN

Abstract

This research will examine and describe the development of human resources in increasing teacher competence at MTs Al-Fathimiyah Telukjambe Timur Karawang. . The aims of this research are 1). To find out the development of human resources, 2). To find out the teacher's academic improvement, 3). To find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in improving teacher competence. This study used a qualitative description method where researchers directly examined the field and used data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation which were conducted at MTs Al-Fathimiyah Telukjambe Timur Karawang. The results of this study reveal three findings, namely: 1). The development of human resources (HR) at MTs Al-Fathimiyah can be said to be quite good, but it is still being developed and improved, 2). In increasing teacher competence with an educator qualification program it is quite good, 3). There are factors supporting seriousness, earnest encouragement and a sense of responsibility by the principal towards teachers and inhibiting factors, namely in terms of the age of the teachers, some of whom have entered old age and the lack of principals in coordinating between the needs and obligations of teachers in carrying out class assignments. Conclusion Human Resource Development at MTs Al-Fathimiyah we always use coaching in the form of technical guidance both outside the school and inside the school and in improving teacher competence, namely with the current educational qualifications it has been implemented, even though the teaching ability of educators who already meet the qualifications is still limited.

Abstract

Problem kerusakan moral atau karakter menjadi pusat penelitian ini. Di tengah perkembangan globalisasi dan tantangan zaman kontemporer, madrasah harus memperkuat identitas Islam melalui manajemen boarding school yang efektif. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk menyelidiki berbagai strategi dan praktik manajemen yang digunakan untuk mendukung perkembangan karakter religius siswa dan menjawab kegelisahan orang tua terhadap anak-anaknya yang ingin belajar agama dengan cara yang modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peran manajemen boarding school dalam pembentukan karakter religious siswa di MAS Miftahul Huda. Sumber datanya berasal dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Mulai dari perencanaan dengan menggunakan kurikulum bebas yang dipadukan dengan kebijakan kepala sekolah yang sesuai dengan budaya pesantren, pengorganisasian melibatkan penetapan struktur organisasi. Ini termasuk membagi tanggung jawab dan tugas jobdesk antara pengajar dan non-pengajar, membuat deskripsi pekerjaan yang jelas untuk setiap posisi, dan membuat jadwal untuk menghindari pembentrokan tugas. Pelaksanaan termasuk dalam kegiatan siswa baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Siswa aktif mengikuti program, yang diawasi dengan ketat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa faktor memengaruhi keberhasilan pembentukan karakter religius siswa. Ini termasuk penerapan kurikulum yang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai agama, partisipasi aktif guru dalam memberikan contoh yang baik, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang membantu pengembangan spiritual siswa. Lingkungan asrama yang ramah dan pengawasan yang ketat juga sangat penting untuk membangun karakter religius. Oleh karena itu, boarding school yang diatur dengan baik dan berfokus pada prinsip-prinsip religius dapat secara signifikan membentuk karakter religius siswa.

Abstract

In this research, a head gesture-controlled robot was designed and developed to assist individuals with disabilities in performing tasks by translating head movements into robot commands. Using an accelerometer sensor embedded in a headgear device, the system interprets specific gestures—such as forward nods for forward movement, backward nods for reversing, and lateral tilts for turning left or right—into corresponding robotic actions. The design involved constructing a mechanical framework for the robot, assembling the headgear, and integrating both with Arduino-based programming to ensure accurate and responsive movements. Testing was conducted in a controlled setting, where the robot consistently followed head gestures with a high degree of accuracy, showing rapid response times to user inputs. Quantitative results demonstrated the system’s reliability, with over 95% accuracy in gesture recognition and minimal latency. This innovative system underscores the potential of head gesture-controlled robotics in assistive technology, offering an affordable, user-friendly solution to enhance mobility and autonomy for individuals with limited physical capabilities

Abstract

This review article scrutinizes the energy consumption model related to hierarchical clustering methods in IoT-based multi-tier heterogeneous networks (WSNs). Since energy efficiency is vital to prolong the operational activities of sensor nodes, this review article concentrated on energy-aware node selection as a significant technique for improving energy consumption. The review article deliberates on the challenges posed by dynamic wireless sensor network conditions, node heterogeneity like energy-based, and scalability challenges that affect energy management. This review article scrutinizes the energy consumption model related to hierarchical clustering methods in IoT-based multi-tier heterogeneous networks (WSNs). Since energy efficiency is vital to prolong the operational activities of sensor nodes, this review article concentrated on energy-aware node selection as a significant technique for improving energy consumption. We scrutinize different factors affecting efficient node selection, comprising residual energy, transmission distance, and sensor node reliability while juxtaposing these techniques with traditional node selection schemes. Furthermore, the importance of developed modeling techniques was highlighted. Finally, future research directions were outlined, by accentuating the incorporation of energy harvesting and collective models to improve the stability and operation of Wireless Sensor Networks. This holistic overview aims to offer appreciated insights for authors and practitioners in WSNs.

Abstract

In this research, the development of a fuzzy logic-based cooperative adaptive cruise control scheme for truck platooning string stability was developed. String stability, which is critical to the operation of truck platooning in the area of enhancing traffic flow and reducing fuel consumption can be affected by unknown uncertainties such as truck incapacitation, delay of platoons and inability to maintain a constant inter-vehicular gap. A commonly reported approach in addressing truck platooning string stability is the Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (CACC) scheme. The CACC scheme consists of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication. However, the CACC lacks the requisite flexibility in dealing with unexpected disturbances that can result in the inability to maintain a constant speed and inter-vehicular gap.

Abstract

This study develops a predictive model for early heart disease detection using data mining techniques to enhance timely and accurate diagnosis. Heart disease prediction is complex due to the need to analyze various risk factors, such as age, cholesterol, and blood pressure. The model integrates multiple machines learning algorithms, including Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and a hybrid ensemble approach, aiming to achieve higher prediction accuracy and reliability. The methodology follows five phases which include data collection, data pre-processing, feature extraction, model construction, and model evaluation. Data was gathered from publicly available health repositories, preprocessed to remove missing values and irrelevant information, and subjected to feature extraction techniques to identify influential predictors. The data was split into an 80:20 ratio for model training and testing to assess model performance across various classification algorithms. The hybrid model achieved an accuracy of 97.56%, precision of 98.04%, and recall of 97.09%, surpassing the individual algorithms tested. These findings indicate that the hybrid approach effectively supports early intervention for heart disease, particularly in healthcare settings with limited diagnostic resources. The study demonstrates that advanced data mining techniques offer a viable solution for improving patient outcomes through early detection of heart disease.

Abstract

This review article scrutinizes the limitations and improvements in battery life and energy management models within HSWNs that employ adaptive energy harvesting techniques. As Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) advance into various implementations, including monitoring environmental parameters and smart cities, effective energy management is vital. This review paper examines the responsibility of communication protocols, precisely routing and Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols, in optimizing energy efficiency. We scrutinize existing energy-efficient schemes and their comparative performance, thereby, concentrating on their adaptability to changing energy sources. Examining these protocols, we accentuate the best techniques and potential areas for development. Furthermore, the review highlights the necessity for advanced approaches integrating energy harvesting with resilience communication frameworks to maximize network lifespan. The discoveries are targeted to lead future research and advancement in the field of WSNs, hence, providing more reliable and efficient energy management schemes for WSNs.

Abstract

This project explores the strategic impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enhanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) on Enterprise Architecture (EA) within the telecommunications industry. Traditionally, RPA has been applied to automate repetitive tasks without altering underlying IT infrastructure, focusing primarily on operational efficiency. However, the integration of AI introduces cognitive capabilities to RPA, enabling more dynamic interactions within complex organizational systems. This project assesses how AI-driven RPA can influence EA by enhancing system efficiency, supporting business-IT alignment and promoting digital transformation. Through case studies and analyses of various telecommunications operations, the project investigates the dual role of AI-enhanced RPA in both streamlining enterprise-wide processes and maintaining adaptability to meet industry demands. The findings indicate that, while AI-RPA integration holds significant promise for accelerating operational improvements, it also presents unique challenges related to governance, scalability and long-term sustainability. This work contributes insights into the adoption of AI-driven RPA as a transformative tool for telecommunications, offering guidance on best practices for aligning automated systems with enterprise strategic goals.
