Abstract

The development of production techniques is required to produce good products that have standards for the products produced, both in terms of profile shape, size precision, surface roughness, hardness, material flexibility, and others that comply with standards. The surface roughness of a product can affect its functions, such as its level of precision and ability to accept loads. This research aims to find out how much influence cutting speed and depth of cut have on surface roughness with variations in cutting speed parameters of 21 meters/minute and 26 meters/minute and for AISI 4140 steel cutting speed parameters of 12 meters/minute and 17 meters/minute and cutting depths of 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm on four types of steel with End Mill cutting blades made from High-Speed Steel with a total of 4 flute cutting blades. Next, surface roughness testing and analysis of variance were carried out to determine the influence of parameters on surface roughness. The results obtained were that the largest average surface roughness, namely Ra = 5.33 µm, occurred on AISI 4140 steel at a cutting speed of 12 m/min with a cutting depth of 0.3 mm. Meanwhile, the smallest average surface roughness, namely Ra = 0.91 µm, occurred on AISI 1045 steel at a cutting speed of 21 m/min with a cutting depth of 0.1 mm. Next, an analysis of the variance method was also carried out with the following results: cutting speed only affected S45C steel because the value of Fcount>Ftable (13.18107506 > 5.32). The depth of cut does not have a significant effect on surface roughness on all types of steel because of the comparison results Fcount<Ftable. The interaction of cutting speed and cutting depth does not affect surface roughness because the comparison shows that Fcount <Ftable for all types of steel.

Abstract

Lathe machining is one type of conventional machine tool used for cutting/filling workpieces which is done by making an incision on the workpiece where the tool is moved translationally and parallel to the axis of the rotating workpiece. The result of the components of the turning process that is commonly done is surface roughness which is influenced by tool cutting angle, feeding speed, cutting speed, depth of cut. This study was conducted to determine how much influence the speed of feeding and depth of feeding on AISI 1045 steel and AISI 4140 steel materials used in shafts, conecting roads, gears with carbide chisels. With Vc=140 m/min, Vc=150 m/min, Vc=170 m/min, and Vc=180 m/min, and knowing the surface roughness of the workpiece using a carbide tool.  From the results of research on AISI 1045 and AISI 4140 steel for cutting along 50 mm with engine speed 1200 rpm and cutting depth 0.3 mm, as well as the cutting speed used Vc=140 m/min, Vc=150 m/min, Vc=170 m/min and Vc=180 m/min and the initial cutting distance of 4 mm, the time needed is 1,125 minutes. For the surface roughness value of AISI 1045 steel material and AISI 4140 steel has four variations in lathe feeding speed in this study, which in each variation has a different surface roughness value, the smallest surface roughness value is AISI 4140 steel with a feeding speed vc = 180 m / min surface roughness value of 0.705 μm compared to AISI 1045 steel material. This is due to the greater the movement of the feeding speed of feeding, the smaller the value of the surface roughness of the material

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan perbaikan layanan di Kafe Coffee Break Sangrai, Bireuen, dengan menggunakan metode DINESERV dan Improvement Gap Analysis (IGA). Berdasarkan analisis terhadap 24 atribut layanan yang dibagi dalam lima dimensi DINESERV Tangible (Bukti Fisik), Reliability (Kehandalan), Responsiveness (Ketanggapan), Assurance (Jaminan), dan Empathy (Empati) ditemukan beberapa atribut yang perlu perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Atribut prioritas perbaikan, yang teridentifikasi melalui Kuadran I dalam Diagram Kartesius, mencakup "Mempunyai tempat yang nyaman dan bersih" (T2), "Mempunyai toilet yang bersih" (T7), "Karyawan kafe yang tanggap" (Rs1), dan "Selalu mementingkan kepentingan pelanggan" (E4). Berdasarkan hasil ini, usulan perbaikan layanan yang dapat dilakukan meliputi penerapan SOP kebersihan dan keamanan, pembuatan daftar regu piket toilet, penambahan supervisor untuk pengecekan toilet, penambahan karyawan di kafe, serta pelatihan bagi karyawan. Dengan implementasi perbaikan tersebut, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan di Kafe Coffee Break Sangrai.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 18 Tahun 2012 tentang pangan. Pembangunan Nasional merupakan pencerminan kehendak seluruh rakyat untuk terus-menerus meningkatkan kemakmuran dan kesejahteraannya secara adil dan merata dalam segala aspek kehidupan yang dilakukan secara terpadu, terarah, dan berkelanjutan dalam rangka mewujudkan suatu masyarakat yang adil dan makmur, baik material maupun spiritual berdasarkan Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945. Pangan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang paling utama dan pemenuhannya merupakan bagian dari hak asasi setiap rakyat Indonesia. Pangan harus senantiasa tersedia secara cukup, aman, bermutu, bergizi, dan beragam dengan harga yang terjangkau oleh daya beli masyarakat, serta tidak bertentangan dengan agama, keyakinan, dan budaya masyarakat. Untuk mencapai semua itu, perlu diselenggarakan suatu sistem ketahanan pangan yang memberikan pelindungan, baik bagi pihak yang memproduksi maupun yang mengonsumsi pangan. Penyelenggaraan pangan dan pengolahan hasil perikanan memegang peranan penting dalam kegiatan pascapanen, mengingat hasil perikanan merupakan komoditi yang sifatnya mudah rusak (perishable goods). Maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengeringan pada ikan dilakukan dengan proses pengeringan Standar Operasional Prosedur Pengembangan Prototipe Pengering Ikan Kayu Sistem Kontrol Dual Energi. Sosialisasi ini telah dilaksanakan di gampong Blang Pulo Kecamatan Muara Satu Kota Lhoksemawe sebagai salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam mengemban amanat Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. Penyuluhan ini merupakan bukti partisipasi dosen dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan dan membudayakan aktivitas pengeringan pada ikan dilakukan dengan proses pengeringan Standar Operasional Prosedur Pengembangan Prototipe Pengering Ikan Kayu Sistem Kontrol Dual Energi. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkakan cara pandang dan wawasan masyarakat dalam mengurangikesalahan dalam melakukan pengeringan ikan kayu. Kegiatan ini dapat memberikan dampak yang luar biasa bagi kesehatan dan keselamatan hidup, dan  jika salah dalam melakukannya dapat menurunkan ketahanan kesehatan tubuh,  sehingga mengakibatkan kerugian bagi kesehatan masyarakat  itu sendiri. Pengabdian ini yang diharapkan pada masyarakat yaitu dapat melaksanakanstandar operasional prosedur pengembangan prototipe pengering ikan kayu sistem kontrol dual energi

Abstract

Workload is a collection of tasks set to be completed within a specific time. The workload can be broken down into "qualitative" (too much or too little) or "quantitative" (too much or too little), which occurs when people are unable to complete tasks or if they do not utilize the abilities they have in achieving a particular job. This study aimed to determine the workload of workers engaged in the sale of fresh or cut chicken meat. Cardiovascular Load is an estimate to determine the classification of workload based on the increase in work pulse compared to the maximum heart rate. The Defense Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) method is a multidimensional technique that involves participants through subjective questions and assessments consisting of four workload dimensions: input demand, central demand, output demand, and time pressure. The results showed that the workload pulse using Cardiovascular Load, the level of fatigue based on workload obtained at the chicken slaughter station by worker 1 was 44.77%, and worker 2 was 41.11% with the category of improvement needed. At the chicken cleaning station, worker 1 was 44.13%, and worker 2 was 47.43%, with the category of needed improvement. At the chicken cutting station, worker 1 was 43.73%, and worker 2 was 45.85%, with the category of needed improvement. The study's DRAWS method results showed that at the chicken slaughtering station, worker 1 was 84.25%, and worker 2 was 87.05% with the overload category. At the chicken cleaning station, worker 1 was 86.75%, and worker 2 was 84.20% with the overload category. At the chicken cutting station, worker 1 was 85.75%, and worker 2 was 81.30%, with the overload category. This means that six respondents felt a high mental burden, so improvements are needed to reduce the impact of the cognitive workload of workers. The upgrades provided include the provision of chairs around the work area, especially at the chicken slaughtering station, so that workers can sit and rest for a moment to reduce the physical workload experienced by workers.

Abstract

The selection of paper as the main material for making composites in this study is driven by several considerations. HVS paper is produced by factories with the main raw material being wood. Besides, the use of HVS paper as a fiber for composites offers the potential to reduce industrial waste and reduce dependence on conventional raw materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the volume fraction of HVS pulp fiber on the mechanical properties of the specimen surface and hardness test to determine the use of HVS pulp composites as raw material for making motorcycle fenders. The benefits of this research provide information for the manufacturing industry in developing innovative composite materials, offering sustainable alternatives that are environmentally friendly, increasing the use value of HVS paper processing, which has only been used as waste. From the results of the research conducted, the results obtained with the value: the hardness of the specimen with a volume fraction variation of 70% fiber has the highest average hardness value of 11.5 kg/mm2, and the variation of the volume fraction of 50% fiber has the lowest average hardness value of 8.6 kg/mm2, which has a difference of 2.9 kg/mm2 with a volume fraction variation of 70% fiber. The highest impact price value is obtained at a 70% pulp volume fraction with an average impact price of 0.0402 J/mm², while the lowest pulp composite impact price is at the volume fraction of 70% fiber. 50% pulp with an impact price of 0.0263 J/mm². The increase in hardness and impact resistance with increasing pulp volume explains that this composite can be an alternative material for application on motorcycle fenders.

Abstract

Masjid Jamik Pante Baro adalah Masjid yang terletak di kecamatan peusangan siblah krueng, Bireuen, Aceh Utara, yang didirikan pada tahun 2010. Masjid ini merupakan Masjid yang letaknya sangat strategis di kota tersebut. Hal ini dikarenakan lokasi Masjid terletak di pinggir jalan dan memudahkan pengunjung dari berbagai jenis wilayah untuk dapat masuk. Salah satu daya tarik Masjid ini adalah arsitekturnya, yang mencerminkan bentuk khas tradisi Aceh dan jelas merupakan ciri khas arsitektur Masjid di daerah tersebut, tetapi sangat disayangkan sekali bahwa kelestarian Masjid tersebut belum terlihat jelas, hal ini dikarenakan belum adanya tanaman yang ditanam disekitar Masjid. Dengan luas tanah Masjid yaitu 5000 m2 dan bangunan Masjid 616 m2 dengan luas pekarangan 4384 m2, Masjid ini cocok untuk dilakukan kegiatan penghijauan, khususnya penanaman pohon. 30 batang pohon kelapa hibrida, 4 (empat) pohon kurma, 4 (empat) pohon alpukat, dan 3 (tiga) pohon mangga telah diteliti dan cocok untuk ditanam diperkarangan Masjid. Dengan memanfaatkan ruang kosong di pelataran Masjid, tujuan secara umum adalah untuk mengurangi polusi udara dan melakukan penghijauan. Tujuan khususnya adalah penanaman pohon di sekitar Masjid. Ini akan menjaga lingkungan tetap asri dan memungkinkan orang di depan Masjid untuk dapat memanfaatkan hasil tanaman atau buah lokal tersebut. Kegiatan menanam pohon buah di lingkungan Masjid ini diharapkan menjadi tradisi baru dan menghasilkan nilai ekonomi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada kegiatan penanaman pohon bibit pohon kelapa hibrida, bibit mangga, alpukat dan kurma yang sudah di tanam dan sudah mulai tumbuh.

Abstract

This research aims to identify gaps in existing research to improve the quality of teacher performance in the future. To achieve this objective, the study poses two research questions. Firstly, the research aims to analyze the influence of leadership in Islamic boarding schools (madrasah) and the working environment on teacher performance, both separately and collectively. Secondly, the research aims to identify and analyze variables that have a dominant influence in this context. These questions will be directed to respondents who have knowledge or understanding relevant to the research theme, which includes the leadership of madrasah principals, the working environment, and teacher performance. Based on the foregoing description, the preliminary results of this research indicate that leadership in the madrasah and the working environment significantly influence teacher performance. In other words, the more effective the leadership in the madrasah and the supportive working environment, the higher the level of teacher performance that can be achieved. Additionally, the research suggests that the role of madrasah leadership has a more dominant influence on teacher performance compared to other factors considered in this study. This research is a quantitative study with a survey approach. The data used are primary data obtained directly from 86 respondents through questionnaires. The findings of this study confirm that both madrasah leadership and the working environment have a simultaneous and partial influence, with madrasah leadership being the more dominant factor affecting teacher performance.

Abstract

Jasa adalah setiap tindakan atau perbuatan yang dapat ditawarkan oleh suatu pihak kepada pihak lain, yang pada dasarnya bersifat intangible (tidak berwujud), serta tidak menghasilkan kepemilikan sesuatu. Namun pada saat ini di Puskesmas masih banyak pelayanan yang kurang diatasi dengan baik sehingga pengguna jasa juga kurang merasa puas terhadap jasa tersebut, berdasarkan wawancara dengan pasien dan didukung oleh pernyataan dari manajemen, didapatkan hasil bahwa pasien banyak mengeluh terhadap waktu tunggu yang lama. Berikut ini merupakan variabel-variabel yang di teliti pada penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Emphaty. Dari hasil perhitungan nilai servqual (gap) per dimensi, yang menepati rank pertama adalah dimensi assurance dengan nilai -12,7, untuk urutan kedua yaitu dimensi emphaty dengan nilai -11,3, untuk urutan ketiga yaitu pada dimensi reliability dengan nilai -11,02, urutan keempat yaitu dimensi responsiveness dengan nilai -9,62, dan urutan terakhir atau kelima yaitu pada dimensi tangible dengan nilai -2,54. Dari hasil analisis perhitungan gap secara keseluruhan pada semua dimensi memiliki nilai negatif, seperti terdapat pada dimensi assurance 2 yang memiliki nilai terendah yaitu perawat melayani dengan sopan, ramah dan terampil dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, nilai yang rendah menunjukkan bahwa apa yang diharapkan pasien belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan apa yang diinginkan oleh pasien.

Abstract

Background: Background: Electricity sources originating from PLN often cause sudden power outages that we don't know about, so this is very dangerous for sensitive electronic devices such as computers. To provide knowledge of automatic switch technology for quick transfers in selecting one source that is on quickly so that there is no momentary power outage on the computer load. Method: SMA Negeri 2 Kesuma Bangsa, the number of participants was 30 students, providing direction or education to participants in the form of ATS technology and providing insight into the use and design of ATS technology. As well as providing questionnaires before and after education on ATS implementation and scoring scores regarding understanding of the technology. Results: The student community was very enthusiastic about participating in the event and they understood the implementation of ATS between PLN and PLTS. Conclusion: Rooftop solar panels are used to increase additional power by 8 pieces with a capacity of 200 WP per piece and in the computer laboratory at SMAN 2 Kesuma Bangsa they can be used because the flashing is very small so there will be no momentary shutdown which will cause data loss.
