Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of lavender aromatherapy on hemodialysis patients' sleep quality. The method used is experimental intervention twice a week for four weeks. Before and after the intervention, sleep quality will be measured using the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) instrument. The results showed that (t = 22.789, p = 0.0001). 7.3% of the variable variation in the model was able to explain changes in the percentage of sleep quality (R2=0.073). Education variables (β=0.240, p=1.888), duration of HD (β=0.227, p=1.583), and the variable that is a predictor of sleep quality is gender (β=-0.006, p=0.421). In conclusion, there is a relationship between giving lavender aromatherapy and the sleep quality of hemodialysis patients compared to patients who did not receive lavender aromatherapy. Abstract

This research aims to utilize guava leaves, which are rich in bioactive compounds, in making tea as a strategy for economic empowerment of communities in Bengkulu Province. This program involves direct community training in planning, production, and marketing of guava leaf tea. The research sample consisted of residents from five villages in Bengkulu Province, namely Cawang Lama Village, Batu Kalung, Pondok Kelapa, Tanjung Agung, and Air Cool, including around 350 participants who were actively involved in the training. This program integrates material selection, processing, packaging and product innovation. The results show that people not only gain new knowledge and skills but also open up economic opportunities through selling tea products that meet SNI standards. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a guava leaf tea product that is traditionally underutilized, offering sustainable economic and health opportunities for rural communities. This program successfully utilizes local natural resources to create high value-added products that offer significant health benefits and economic potential.

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of job functions or activities of a person or group in an organization that is influenced by various factors to achieve organizational goals. To achieve this, requires competence and work facilities at the Regional Financial Agency in the Government of Seluma Regency that are selective. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of competency and work facilities on employees performance of Regional Financial Agency in the Government of Seluma Regency. The research method used is quantitative, the data collection technique in this study is a questionnaire technique, with a research sample of 63 respondents. The results showed that multiple linear regression Y =22,275 + 0.134 X1 + 0.446 X2 + 3,257. Where the coefficient is positive, it means that there is a positive or unidirectional relationship between the competency variable (X1) and work facilities, on employee performance at the Regional Financial Agency in the Government of Seluma Regency. The results show that the competency test results (XI) show t count 3.060> t table 1.670 and sigfinication 0.003 <0.05, then the results of the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that competency (XI) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Financial Agency in the Government of Seluma Regency. This means that the hypothesis is accepted. The test results for work facilities (X2) show t count 7,227>t table 1,670 and sigfinication 0.000 <0.05, then the results of the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that work facilities (X2) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Financial Agency in the Government of Seluma Regency. This means that the hypothesis is accepted. So, the suitability of employee facilities can speed up one's work. The results of the comparison value of the value of Fcount with Ftable, Fcount is greater than Ftable, namely 29.873> 2.76, it is concluded that Accepting the Hypothesis, meaning that there is a simultaneous influence between competency (XI) and work facilities (X2) on employee performance (Y) at the Regional Financial Agency in the Government of Seluma Regency. This can be seen at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu penunjang  berhasilnya pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran disertai strategi pembelajaran yang interaktif dapat menjadi kombinasi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika materi Bangun Datar pada kelas V menggunakan media Flash Card dengan startegi Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart yang melalui empat tahapan yakni tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tulis, wawancara dan observasi pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas V di SDN 20 Mataram. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah 80% peserta didik dapat mencapai nilai KKM 75.  Hasil pra siklus menunjukkan dari 23 peserta didik hanya 8 yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM dengan persentase 35%. Pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan  sebesar 20%  dimana 14 peserta didik mendapat nilai di atas KKM dengan persentase 35% dan pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 32%, dimana 21 peserta didik mendapat nilai di atas KKM dengan persentase 87%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Flash Card dengan staregi STAD berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada materi bangun datar kelas V di SDN 20 Mataram.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hipotiroid kongenital (HK) adalah kondisi serius yang dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan perkembangan fisik dan mental permanen jika tidak terdeteksi sejak dini. Dengan prevalensi 1:2000–1:3000 kelahiran, HK berisiko menurunkan kualitas hidup anak. Skrining hipotiroid kongenital (SHK) pada bayi baru lahir sangat penting untuk mencegah dampak tersebut, namun keberhasilannya bergantung pada kesiapan ibu hamil dalam menjalankannya, termasuk pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan keluarga, dan akses layanan kesehatan. Tujuan: Menilai kesiapan ibu hamil dalam melaksanakan SHK di Puskesmas Haur Gading. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan sampel ibu hamil yang mengunjungi Puskesmas Haur Gading. Data dikumpulkan melalui checklist yang mencakup pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan keluarga, dan akses layanan kesehatan, lalu dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil: Mayoritas responden berusia 26–35 tahun (53%), primipara (43%), berpendidikan SMA (47%), dan ibu rumah tangga (77%). Sebanyak 84% mendapatkan informasi dari tenaga kesehatan, namun hanya 30% dari sumber lain. Pengetahuan tentang HK dan SHK cukup baik (73%), tetapi kesadaran risiko masih rendah (67%). Dukungan keluarga kurang (57%), dan fasilitas SHK masih terbatas (57%). Secara keseluruhan, 47% ibu hamil kurang siap melaksanakan SHK. Simpulan: Kesiapan ibu hamil dalam melaksanakan SHK masih rendah. Peningkatan edukasi, dukungan keluarga, dan akses layanan kesehatan diperlukan untuk mencegah dampak serius HK.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tanda-tanda bahaya kehamilan adalah indikasi risiko yang mungkin terjadi selama kehamilan atau masa antenatal, yang perlu segera ditangani untuk mencegah akibat yang serius. Tujuan: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu hamil tentang identifikasi tanda-tanda bahaya selama kehamilan. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan penyuluhan melalui leaflet kepada ibu hamil. Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di Puskesmas Haur Gading Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup informasi mengenai tanda-tanda bahaya kehamilan. Hasil: Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yaitu para ibu hamil menjadi lebih mengerti tentang tanda bahaya pada kehamilan. Simpulan: Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu para ibu hamil jadi lebih peduli terhadap kesehatannya.
