Abstract

Abstrak - Proyek pengembangan Aplikasi MI-FIK merupakan proyek lanjutan dari perancangan prototype Aplikasi Pengelolaan Informasi di FakultasIndustri Kreatif yang sebelumnya telah dikerjakan oleh Ceka Elgy Dwi Putra, mahasiswa Program studi S1Desain Komunikasi Visual angkatan 2018. Aplikasi ini berfungsi sebagai pengelola informasi untuk civitasakademika Fakultas Industri Kreatif, dan dirancang untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pengelolaaninformasi pada lingkungan Fakultas Industri Kreatif, yang kemudian dialihtugaskan kepada FakultasInformatika untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap development, dikarenakan keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam ranahpengembangan dan pemrograman aplikasi, serta kemampuan yang baru sebatas desain dan requirementelicitation. Oleh karena itu, mengingat pentingnya pengelolaan informasi untuk memastikan setiapkegiatan yang direncanakan dapat terlaksana dengan baik, maka timbullah adanya urgensi dan kebutuhanuntuk membuat aplikasi pengelolaan informasi. Untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi, maka kita harus melaluibeberapa tahap pengembangan, atau yang biasa disebut SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Pada tahap awal SDLC, tahap planning diperlukan untuk mencari requirement yang dibutuhkan aplikasi nantinya.Setelah tahap planning selesai, maka langkah selanjutnya adalah desain permodelan. Dalam tahapini, model atau struktur aplikasi akan dibangun. Modelatau struktur ini juga menjadi pedoman untuk selanjutnya seperti tahap pemrograman dan testing. Abstract

Abstrak - MI-FIK adalah sebuah perangkat lunakyang dirancang untuk mengelola informasi bagi civitasakademika Fakultas Industri Kreatif, TelkomUniversity. Perangkat lunak ini berbasis aplikasi mobileyang dapat digunakan oleh seluruh mahasiswa, dosen,dan staff dari Fakultas Industri Kreatif. Untukmenunjang pengelolaan data yang terdapat di dalamdatabase pada aplikasi MI-FIK, maka dirancanglahperangkat lunak berbasis web dashboard yang dikelolaoleh admin. Perancangan perangkat lunak ini dibagimenjadi sisi frontend dan sisi backend, untukmenghubungkan kedua sisi tersebut diperlukanarsitektur yang dapat mengelola dan menampilkan data.MVC atau Model View Controller merupakan sebuahpola desain yang berfungsi untuk menghubungkanstruktur perancangan perangkat lunak dari sisi backendmaupun frontend. Arsitektur ini memungkinkanperancangan perangkat lunak dilakukan secara terpisahberdasarkan fungsi logika, interaksi ke database, dantampilan antarmuka. Selain itu diperlukan juga BlackBox Testing untuk memastikan bahwa penerapan MVCsudah terlaksana dengan benar dan sesuai kebutuhan.Setelah semua fitur untuk tiap Functional Requirementtelah selesai dikembangkan dan diuji dengan Black BoxTesting, maka hasil yang didapat dari 50 FunctionalRequirement dan 9 Non-Functional Requirement yangtelah diuji. Seluruh fitur telah memenuhi kebutuhansesuai rancangan arsitektur yang sudah dibuat. Kata kunci : MVC, Dashboard, Mobile, Black Box Testing, Framework

Abstract

The world of the web and the internet today has become one of the centers for exchanging information between humans, one of which is shown by the development of web applications in the form of content management systems (CMS). By being based on JavaServer Pages (JSP), which has the advantages of being platform-independent, inexpensive and free, and easy to develop, it is possible to become an alternative solution to meet today's general medical needs, namely online and web-based, extensible and customizable. , robust and efficient, secure and authenticated, and easy to develop and maintain. there is a need that turns out to be equally owned and used by only a few medical institutions or there is even a need that is shared by all of them. These needs are developed and used as a standard so that web applications in the medical field are universal and can be used by any medical institution, anywhere, and anywhere. As a result, medical needs that can be implemented into a web application and can be universally applicable.

Abstract

The Basu Dairy Farm admin website is a web-based information system developed using monolithic architecture. The delivery process of source code changes from the GitLab repository on the "main" branch (development) to the main server (production) takes a long time because the build and deploy process is done manually. This causes the delivery time to be long. To overcome this, this research applies Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) as a solution. The CI/CD tools used are Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD because they are open source and the most popular. In this study, a comparison of the delivery time of the two tools was carried out. Delivery time is obtained when the build process starts to run until the deploy process is completed. The analysis includes the time required to run the build and deploy process of the CI/CD tool. The results of this research show that Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD are successfully implemented and can automate the build and deploy process. In terms of implementation, Jenkins requires in-depth configuration, so it looks complicated, while GitLab CI/CD offers simple and easy configuration. In the three experiments conducted, Jenkins showed a faster average time in completing the build and deploy process, so Jenkins has a better delivery time than GitLab CI/CD in the context of the Basu Dairy Farm admin website development process.

Abstract

This research delves into evaluating Flutter's BLoC and GetX state management libraries, focusing on their memory and CPU usage across diverse dataset sizes of 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 entries. The objective is to identify which library offers better performance efficiency in Flutter application development. Addressing the critical problem of resource optimization, the study uses a comparative analytical approach. Preliminary results indicate GetX's higher memory efficiency with smaller datasets and BLoC's superior CPU efficiency in handling larger datasets. These findings are pivotal for developers in choosing the right library, aligning with the specific performance demands and scalability needs of their applications, thereby ensuring enhanced functionality and user experience. This contributes significantly to the understanding of state management's impact on Flutter app performance, offering a detailed guide for optimal library selection in the ecosystem.

Abstract

The SIKAD mobile web application is a platform for an online-based Academic Information System developed by the Islamic University of Riau. The primary objective of this application is to facilitate various crucial processes such as Course Card Filling, printing of Study Result Cards, transcript printing, viewing payment history, and leave application. However, after conducting a usability evaluation using the System usability scale (SUS) involving 5 respondents, namely students of the Islamic University of Riau, it was found that the SUS score for this application was 60.0. Additionally, through interviews with the head of the development team and the respondents, issues were identified in the Course Registration interface which involved Course Card Filling and Course Card Printing feature. These issues were related to an untidy layout, unclear information, and inappropriate button placement on the screens of each respondent's device. Consequently, the user experience in using the SIKAD mobile web application was less satisfactory for the students. Therefore, the objective of redesigning the SIKAD mobile web application is to enhance the user experience in the Course Registration on the mobile platform and improve user satisfaction. The method employed for this redesign is Goal-Directed Design (GDD), which is suitable for meeting user needs and objectives. The redesigned interface will be evaluated using the System usability scale (SUS) to measure the extent to which the desired goals have been achieved. Through the GDD approach, it is anticipated that interface issues in this application can be addressed, and the set objectives can be fulfilled, resulting in an overall improvement in the usability of the SIKAD mobile web application.

Abstract

Abstract-Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Children are those who are suffering from problems during their growing phases. Usually, ASD children have a common problem based on Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklists (ATEC) that consist of Cognitive Problems, Communication & Language Problems, Emotional/Behavioural Problems, and Social Problems. Concerning the sides of the social problem trying to figure out the solution in improving their sociability. One of social skill is empathy to others. Furthermore, it turns out that there is one mobile application developed focusing on this issue named “Kloog2”. The pitfall for this application is having issues such as the content of the word is lengthy and too many step require to do some action. Furthermore, with website it is compatible to work both mobile devices, personal computer and those who are running older operating system that is embedded with web browser. To solve it, creating model to improve sociability skill, by creating a model for them to learn the empathy skill via storytelling method with User Centered Design. The prototype was built and was tested using SUS. Abstract

Abstract— User interface is an important component of software because it acts as an intermediary between machines and humans. The user interface is a means of communication between the user and the program. In this case a dialogue is created between the program and the user so that the expert system can receive instructions and information (input) from the user. The program provides information (output) to the user. In Telkom Indonesia IT change is a Web Application that is used to initiate, compile, and submit as a basis for a change request which includes the addition, replacement, or deletion of objects in the production environment. IT Change Web Application in ITGC Compliance Division at Telkom Indonesia Bandung has constraints on UI / UX. In IT Change still does not have applied the concept of modern UI / UX based on user centered design and its only have a deployment and process flow. To solve problems from the Web Application IT Change will use the UCD (user centered design) method and for the pre-survey will use questionnaires and interviews, the results of the questionnaire are based on usibility testing using the system usability scale (sus).Key Word— User-centered Design, User Interface, Usability testing, System Usability Scale

Abstract

Abstrak — Sistem jual beli saat ini sebagian besar tidak dilakukan secara langsung. Aktivitas tersebut disebut dengan ecommerce yang dilakukan dengan perangkat digital. Pada tahap analisis perancangan sistem, telah dilakukan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari pemilik usaha Pawonkos799. Dari observasi didapatkan informasi sistem penjualan yang serta masalah yang dihadapi usaha seperti bagaimana model website e-commerce dapat meningkatkan identitas usaha dan penjualan pada Pawonkos799, serta bagaimana sistem website e-commerce yang dibuat dapat dengan baik digunakan oleh admin dan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan implementasi sistem website e-commerce berbasis WordPress menggunakan model waterfall serta menganalisis tingkat kegunaan sistem website e-commerce menggunakan system usability scale yang bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dari hasil observasi pada UMK Pawonkos799. Saat ini, e-commerce merupakan suatu sistem yang populer diterapkan pada aktivitas jual beli. Dari hasil analisis perancangan sistem dan pengujian system usability scale, didapatkan proses dan hasil dari analisis perancangan sistem, implementasi, hingga deployment of system serta mendapatkan perhitungan nilai hasil akhir system usability scale dengan sejumlah 30 responden serta memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 87 dengan keterangan hasil best imaginable.Kata kunci — website, e-commerce, waterfall, system usability scale.

Abstract

Banyak orang yang mengalami masalah saat menggunakan aplikasi. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penjaminan mutu perangkat lunak sebelum aplikasi go live. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan sebelumnya, terdapat masalah- masalah dalam penyebaran informasi di lingkungan civitas FIK Telkom University, sehingga adanya urgensi aplikasi MI-FIK untuk segera rilis. Namun, sebelum aplikasi tersebut go live dan digunakan oleh real user perlu dilakukan penjaminan mutu perangkat lunak terlebih dahulu. Penjaminan mutu akan dilakukan dengan cara mengukur hasil product menggunakan standar ISO 25010. Berdasarkan hasil elisitasi requirement yang telah dilakukan diprioritaskan pada lima aspek dalam penelitian ini yaitu aspek functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, dan security. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur sejauh mana kesiapan aplikasi MI-FIK untuk rilis. Hasil yang didapat dari pengujian aspek Functional Suitability mendapatkan nilai 95.7%, kemudian untuk aspek Performance Efficiency mendapat nilai 95%, dan untuk Aspek Usability mendapatkan nilai 83.4%, Reliability mendapatkan nilai 84.5% , dan Security berdasarkan hasil pengujian dengan real user mendapatkan nilai 84.1%. Dari nilai berikut dapat disimpulkan aplikasi MI-FIK telah memiliki nilai yang sangat layak untuk rilis.
