Abstract

The amount of voltage that is used to run Electric Drive Train (Kereta Rel ListrikKRL) system simultaneously resulted on the electromagnetic fi eld radiation (EM). If the level of EM radiation exceeded the threshold of specifi ed standard, it will cause adverse effects to the environment. In this paper, measurements of EM radiation levels emitted by KRL (especially on Serpong-Tanah Abang) have been conducted. System and method of this measurement are based on the standard BS-EN 50121-2:2006. The results showed that the value of EM radiation levels generated by the KRL is below the threshold set by standard. The highest radiation levels occurred at frequency 936 MHz with fi eld strengths of 48.59 dB dB?V/m at horizontal antenna polarization.

Abstract

The analysis of determination of defi brillation energy effect on Electrocardiograph (ECG) according to IEC 60601-2-27: 2005 has been conducted in order to measure the energy reduction during defi brillation process on EKG. The result showed the energy differences before and after being connected to ECG was 4,408%.

Abstract

The humidifier cooler (or commonly known as air cooler) is a common device used by individuals to gain a more comfortable space and widely available in Indonesian market. Regarding either prices or power consumption, this device is an intermediate choice among household appliances with similar purpose, such as air fan and refrigerator-based air conditioner (AC). However due to the device working mechanism, there could be a possibility transfer of evaporated liquid from cold water flow to the output air flow that probably makes an increase of the relative humidity of the room space. This phenomenon raises a concern because the rise of the relative humidity during an attempt to reduce air temperature is undesirable due to the thermal comfort principle. Through simulations, it can be evaluated that room temperature could be kept at 26,4°C and 28,1°C for a normal and an unfavourable condition, respectively. However, there is an increase of room humidity by 38,1% which is significant enough to shift room condition toward an unhealthy state.

Abstract

This research presents an automated voltage regulation system crucial for a power input test of electric irons based on SNI IEC 60335-2-3 clause 11.4. The system is designed with an Arduino-based proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control mechanism to augment voltage stability and meet the standard requirement. The system comprises a microcontroller for PID control, a dimmer as the actuator, and a voltage sensor for error measurement. It utilizes the Ziegler-Nichols (Z-N) oscillation method to determine the PID control parameters. The simulation results identified a third-order transfer function as the best fit for the system, and the optimal PID parameters for the system are Kp=60, Ki=125, and Kd=500. The system was tested under the electric iron's active and non-active conditions. The proposed PID system demonstrated stable responses, effectively regulating the system voltage with minimal overshoot and settling time, and meeting standard requirements even under varying load conditions. It suggests potential applications beyond electric iron testing, promising efficiency improvements in broader household product testing.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini, deteksi dini kanker paru-paru dapat dilakukan dengan sistem Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) berbasis AI. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan perfoma sistem CAD sangat diperlukan. Dalam studi ini, berbagai teknik pengolahan citra dan augmentasi data diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi performa deteksi nodul paru-paru pada citra X-Ray dada dengan algoritma YOLOv5. Dataset publik yang terdiri dari 1500 data latih dan 516 data uji beserta dengan anotasi nodulnya digunakan dalam simulasi. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa model YOLOv5 menghasilkan presisi, recall, dan nilai mAP yang tinggi dengan nilai masing-masing 0,811, 0,776, dan 0,858, walaupun tidak menggunakan teknik pengolahan citra dan augmentasi data. Hasil validasi silang dengan dengan dataset publik JSRT dengan augmentasi data tiga kali menunjukkan bahwa YOLOv5s memiliki performa yang lebih baik untuk deteksi nodul pada paru-paru dibandingkan variasi model YOLOv5s lainnya, dengan nilai presisi 0,719 dan nilai recall 0,630.Kata Kunci: nodul paru, YOLOv5, X-Ray dada, pengolahan citra, augmentasi data ABSTRACTRecently, early detection of lung cancer can be performed with AI-based Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system. Therefore, the performance improvement of CAD is urgently needed. In this study, various image processing and data augmentation techniques were carried out to evaluate the performance of lung nodule detection on chest X-Ray images using YOLOv5 object detection algorithms. Public dataset consist of 1500 train and 516 test data along with the annotated nodules were used. The simulation results showed that the YOLOv5 model produced high precision, recall, and mAP@0.5 values of 0.811, 0.776, and 0.858, respectively although no data augmentation and image processing techniques were performed on the previous dataset. Cross-validation results with JSRT public dataset with three times the augmentation data sets showed that YOLOv5s has better performance for nodule detection with the other model with precision and recall of 0.719 and 0.630, respectively.Keywords: lung nodule, YOLOv5, X-Ray, image processing, data augmentation

Abstract

Pada pengujian kompatibilitas elektromagnetik khususnya pada pengukuran near field, pengukuran medan magnet sangat diperlukan. Salah satu alat pengukuran yang digunakan adalah magnetic loop probe.  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan loop probe pada jumlah sisi geometrinya, dan belum ada referensi yang membahas tentang topik ini. Magnetic loop probe didesain dalam tujuh bentuk geometri yaitu bentuk segi 3 (ada dua model), segi 4, segi 6, segi 8, segi 10, dan segi tak hingga (lingkaran) dimana parameter keliling geometrinya sama. Magnetic loop probe didesain dengan menggunakan perhitungan sebagai small loop antenna Karateristik kelima desain probe dianalisis dengan mengukur S21 sebagai sensitivitas menggunakan Vector Network Analyzer. Karateristik bentuk probe maupun gain dan sensitivitasnya  dibahas dalam makalah ini.

Abstract

This paper proposes an improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) risk analysis approach for medical equipment related to the effect of electrostatic discharge (ESD). This approach not only focuses on the risk of ESD from the susceptibility aspect but also investigates its conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) characteristics. This study combines the standardized ESD test and conducted emission (CE) measurement simultaneously, applying it to the infant incubator and analyzing the spectrum of ESD current in the phase line in the time and frequency domain. The result shows that an ESD exposure caused current spikes with an average level of 13.8 A. Moreover, it also causes a broad spectral CE noise on the phase line of the infant incubator. Furthermore, the CE noise in the low-frequency range was also detected on the phase line during ESD exposure, indicating the risk of interference with other sensitive medical equipment connected to the same power network. The approach of proposed risk analysis in this study can be used to identify the risks of EMI due to ESD events in implementing the latest IEC 60601-1-2.
