Abstract

Rapidly developing technology has an important role in organizational development which can support various human activities or performance, namely the performance of employees in an environment whose faculty activities cannot be separated from correspondance activities that are not yet fully optimized and computerized. Conventional mail services make servicess less than optimal and ineffective. Therefore, an information system is needed that is useful for making employee performance more effective in correspondence activities in the form of a correspondence information system in order to speed up performance and improve services to stakeholders. The development method used by researchers is the scrum method, while the research data collection method includes interviews, observation and documentation with descriptive analysis. The results of this research, a web-based correspondence information system design was produced to streamline employee performance, so as to optimize service and speed up performance.

Abstract

Electricity consumption in Indonesia is expected to continue to grow by average of 6,5% per year until 2020. Therefore, PT. PLN had to make an effective subsystem that can provide electrical energy based on customer needs. The electrical energy is converted from the mechanical energy and can’t be stored. Because of that reason, if the electrical energy isn’t channeled properly then PT. PLN will suffer losses. It is necessary to plan a proper distribution system of electrical energy. The aim of this research is to predict short-term electricity consumption for Paiton’s subsystem in East Java Indonesia by using ARIMA and Multilayer Perceptron. The best model is measured based on MAPE, SMAPE, and RMSE value in data sample. The result of the analysis shows that Multilayer Perceptron method provides better accuracy rate for electricity consumption forecasting in Paiton subsystem based on peak load compared to ARIMA

Abstract

In higher education, the undergraduate thesis represents a tangible contribution of students to the development of scientific knowledge. In the field of Environmental Engineering, student research often focuses on issues that are closely related to both local and global environmental challenges. This study aims to analyze the main themes of undergraduate theses written by Environmental Engineering students in East Java using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method. The research data were collected from thesis titles and abstracts obtained from several universities. Through the application of LDA, several dominant themes were identified, including waste management, water quality, air pollution reduction, and the application of environmental treatment technologies. The results indicate that LDA is capable of uncovering research patterns and clustering topics that reflect the primary concerns of students in this field. These findings not only provide insights into the current research trends among students but also serve as a reference for curriculum development, research planning, and academic decision-making. Thus, this study contributes to improving the quality of education while mapping future research directions in Environmental Engineering.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged companies to use digital platforms such as e-procurement, which can improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the procurement process. However, without thorough testing, these systems are at risk of functional errors and a decline in user trust. Previous research using black box testing methods and automation tools such as Katalon Studio can improve error detection, but there are still weaknesses in terms of validation and documentation consistency, meaning that the reliability of the system is not yet fully guaranteed. This study applies the ISO 29119 international standard as a structured framework, combined with black box testing methods and the Katalon Studio automated testing tool in testing the e-procurement website of PT. XYZ. Testing focused on four main features including registration, login, profile editing, and password change, with a total of 44 test cases. The evaluation results showed that 41 test cases were successful and 3 failed, mainly in the aspects of input validation and mandatory field labeling. The recommendations proposed include strengthening input validation, providing mandatory labels, and more informative error messages. This study shows that the implementation of ISO 29119 improves transparency, professionalism, and system reliability, making e-procurement services more secure and user-friendly.

Abstract

Classification is a field of data mining that has many methods, one of them is decision tree. Decision tree is proven to be able to classify many kinds of data such as image data and time series data. However, there are several obstacles that are often encountered in the decision tree method. Running time required for the execution of this algorithm is quite long, so this study proposed to use the ant tree miner algorithm which is a development algorithm from the C4.5 decision tree. Ant tree miner works by utilizing ant colony optimization in the process of building its tree structure. Use ant colony optimization expected can optimize the tree that will be formed. From the testing that have been carried out, an accuracy of about 95% is obtained in the process of classifying Zoo dataset with the number of ants between 60 - 90.

Abstract

In the world of philanthropy and non-profit institutions, donations are one of the crucial factors in determining the sustainability of the institutions. Of course, the decision to donate is one of the efforts to be considered, along with the factors that drive that attitude. This research aims to understand the factors that drive community decisions to give donations to philanthropic and non-profit organizations. Using quantitative approaches and SPSS analysis, the research involves research instruments, classical assumption tests, double linear regression, model accuracy evaluation, T tests, and data processing processes. The research findings confirm that both the reputation of institutions and crowdfunding financial technology significantly influenced donation decisions in the Qur’an Wallet, with both together having an impact of 49.9%.

Abstract

Digital transformation drives the adoption of e-procurement systems as a strategic instrument for enhancing efficiency, transparency, and corporate governance. However, the realization of these benefits is critically dependent on the technical performance and reliability of the system in use. This study aims to conduct a quantitative evaluation of the performance and reliability of the e-procurement website belonging to PT XYZ, a private company in Surabaya, utilizing the international software quality standard framework ISO/IEC 25010. The primary contribution of this study lies in the methodological synthesis that maps empirical performance metrics generated via load testing with Apache JMeter onto the characteristics of Performance Efficiency and Reliability. The testing was conducted on two critical transactional scenarios, namely new user registration and login, with varying virtual user loads (10, 50, and 100 users). The metrics analyzed included response time, throughput, and error rate. The test results indicated that the system exhibited excellent time-behaviour in the login scenario, with an average response time of 562 ms under a 100-user load, which falls within the "excellent" category according to industry benchmarks. The most significant finding was the consistent 0% error rate across all scenarios, affirming a perfect level of availability and fault tolerance. Consequently, it is concluded that the PT XYZ e-procurement website meets the essential software quality criteria to support critical B2B business processes, and the methodology employed can serve as a robust evaluation model for similar corporate systems.

Abstract

AbstrakKelompok bermain non-digital merupakan kegiatan bermain bagi anak yang melibatkan aktivitas fisik sebagai upaya responsif terhadap kegiatan bermain digital (penggunaan gadget) yang berlebihan terutama di masa Golden Age anak. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pola asuh orang tua terhadap penggunaan gadget pada anak dan mendorong peningkatan aktivitas non-digital pada anak. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat diawali dengan proses inkulturasi dan diskusi dengan masyarakat, perangkat desa, dan bidan setempat untuk melakukan pemetaan masalah tentang pola asuh dan tumbuh kembang sebagai dasar pembuatan program kerja, melakukan kegiatan edukasi dan penyuluhan tentang tumbuh kembang anak dan pembatasan penggunaan gadget, serta bersama ibu-ibu membuat berbagai kegiatan non-digital untuk anak-anak yang berbentuk permainan tradisional, perlombaan, dan aktivitas non-digital lainnya. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat terlihat dari ibu-ibu yang mulai memahami pentingnya pengawasan dan pembatasan saat anak menggunakan gadget dan kegiatan atau aktivitas non-digital yang mampu mendorong terjadinya interaksi sosial dan mengembangkan keterampilan kognitif serta motoriknya sehingga membawa dampak positif yang signifikan dengan adanya penurunan penggunaan gadget bagi anak dan kesediaan untuk melakukan kegiatan bermain non-digital secara rutin. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat menjadi alternatif solusi untuk menghadapi permasalahan yang serupa di daerah lain. Rekomendasi untuk melakukan kolaborasi dengan stakeholder lainnya sepert PKK dan Karang Taruna melalui pembentukan struktur pengawas dan penanggung jawab sehingga kegiatan bermain dapat diawasi dan dievaluasi agar semakin berkembang dan dapat mewujudkan gerakan Golden Age tanpa gadget. Kata kunci: kelompok bermain; aktivitas non-digital; masa golden age AbstractNon-digital playgroups are play activities for children that involve physical activity as a response to excessive digital play activities (use of gadgets), especially during the child's Golden Age. This community service aims to improve understanding of parenting patterns towards gadget use in children and encourage increased non-digital activities in children. The community service method begins with the process of inculturation and discussion with the community, village officials, and local midwives to map problems about parenting patterns and growth and development as a basis for creating work programs, conducting educational and counseling activities about child growth and development and restrictions on gadget use, and together with mothers creating various non-digital activities for children in the form of traditional games, competitions, and other non-digital activities. The results of community service can be seen from mothers who begin to understand the importance of supervision and restrictions when children use gadgets and non-digital activities that can encourage social interaction and develop cognitive and motor skills so that they have a significant positive impact with a decrease in gadget use for children and a willingness to carry out non-digital play activities routinely. This community service can be an alternative solution to deal with similar problems in other areas. Recommendations to collaborate with other stakeholders such as PKK and Karang Taruna through the formation of a supervisory and responsible structure so that play activities can be supervised and evaluated in order to develop further and realize the Golden Age movement without gadgets. Keywords: playgroup; non-digital activities; golden age

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam sektor pemerintahan menuntut adanya pengelolaan sistem yang efektif, aman, dan berkelanjutan. Sistem Informasi Tata Ruang (SITR) Jawa Timur memiliki peran strategis dalam penyediaan data spasial dan non-spasial yang mendukung transparansi informasi, perencanaan pembangunan, serta pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Namun, ketergantungan tinggi pada sistem digital menimbulkan potensi risiko yang dapat mengganggu keandalan dan kualitas layanan publik, baik dari aspek teknis seperti gangguan keamanan dan infrastruktur, maupun dari aspek non-teknis seperti kompetensi sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis risiko pada SITR Jawa Timur dengan kerangka kerja ISO 31000 melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan teknik Risk and Self Control Assessment (RSCA). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur dengan staf IT dan observasi langsung di instansi pengelola, kemudian dianalisis melalui proses identifikasi, analisis, dan evaluasi risiko. Hasil penelitian menemukan 11 potensi risiko dengan klasifikasi 1 risiko tinggi terkait keamanan siber, 6 risiko tingkat sedang yang mencakup kelemahan manajemen data dan kompetensi SDM, serta 4 risiko tingkat rendah terkait operasional sistem. Temuan ini berkontribusi dalam pemetaan risiko yang lebih terstruktur dan penyusunan rekomendasi mitigasi strategis yang dapat memperkuat tata kelola teknologi informasi pemerintah, khususnya dalam pengelolaan sistem informasi geospasial untuk mewujudkan prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas good governance.
