Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning design and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing a personalized learning approach in video editing education to enhance students' 21st-century digital competencies. The research focused on providing flexibility in the choice of video editing software to accommodate diverse hardware capabilities, ensuring inclusive participation regardless of students’ device limitations. A sample of 20 students from the Content Creator extracurricular program at Al Ulum Medan Junior High School was selected based on specific criteria, particularly the inability to install Adobe Premiere Pro due to hardware constraints. Data collection methods included pre-test and post-test assessments, surveys, and skills tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-tests to assess improvement in video editing skills after allowing students to use software suited to their devices. The findings indicated a significant improvement, with a 40% increase in mean scores from pre-test to post-test. The personalized approach not only enhanced students' technical skills but also improved motivation and engagement. The study concludes that personalized learning, through adaptive software selection, is effective in overcoming technical barriers and significantly enhances video editing competencies among junior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the crucial role of visionary leadership in transforming educational practices within Islamic educational institutions. The research employed a qualitative method, incorporating a literature review and secondary data analysis, which began with a review of relevant journals on leadership in Islamic education. The author collected and analyzed several articles related to visionary leadership, educational governance, and the challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions in the era of globalization. The findings indicate that visionary leadership plays a central role in integrating traditional Islamic values with modern innovations, significantly enhancing educational quality, fostering community engagement, and ensuring the sustainability of Islamic educational institutions. This leadership also supports effective change management, the application of technological innovations, and the development of leadership models based on ethical principles and Islamic teachings. Furthermore, the internal and external challenges faced by leaders require adaptability, innovation, and strategic resource management to maintain the relevance of institutions in an increasingly interconnected world. This study implies that the effective implementation of visionary leadership, supported by key factors such as institutional image-building, relevant curriculum development, and strategic management practices, is essential for improving the effectiveness and sustainability of Islamic education.

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped debates on access, equity, and quality in higher education, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a key enabler. This study synthesizes existing literature to examine the intersections between AI integration, digital leadership, pedagogical competency, and equity-oriented practices. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA framework, the study analyzed 69 peer-reviewed articles (2022–2025) from Scopus and Watase databases. The findings identified three main themes: expanding digital access, advancing learning equity, and improving quality through AI-based pedagogy. Significant regional differences exist; developing countries (such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand) focus on infrastructure and teacher training, while developed countries emphasize ethics and curriculum innovation. Methodologically, quantitative approaches dominate and theories such as TPACK and TAM are relied upon. The study concludes that AI's impact is maximized when combined with human factors, such as teacher self-efficacy and institutional leadership. AI is not a neutral tool, but rather a transformative force tied to ethics and inclusivity. Future research should prioritize methodological pluralism and long-term evaluation to align technological advances with educational equity

Abstract

This study aims to explore the internalization of polite behavior through animated video learning resources at SMKN 2 Ponorogo. It investigates the impact of these media on shaping students' polite behavior. Utilizing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and presented descriptively with narrative texts from illustrators. The findings reveal that the internalization of polite behavior via animated videos occurs in three phases: 1) value change, where students grasp the learning material; 2) value transaction, where teachers demonstrate concepts through videos; and 3) value instillation, which influences both students and their personalities. The effects noted include students' understanding of politeness, observable improvements in their behavior at home and school, and the application of polite behavior in daily life. This encompasses speaking respectfully, honoring teachers and parents, dressing appropriately, and practicing the 3S (smile, greet, salute), along with religious practices like the Dhuha prayer and reciting Surah Yasin and Surah Ar-Rahman. A significant contribution of this study is its focus on the SMKN level, contrasting with previous research conducted at the SDN level, highlighting notable changes in student habits
