Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology has a significant impact on learning practices in formal educational institutions such as MAN. On the other hand, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum requires students to learn independently and requires the development of learning media that can be accessed in face-to-face and online learning. This study aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers at MAN Kota Batu for the development of FBO Media to support blended learning in Al-quran Hadith Lessons. The research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kota Batu using a the ADDIE type (Analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) with qualitative approach. The research subjects were the teachers and students of Al-Qur'an Hadith class X MAN Kota Batu. The results showed that in general: (1) there are problems in using the Al-Qur'an Hadith textbooks as the main source, (2) students need flexible learning materials and media, (3) the infrastructure owned by MAN Kota Batu is sufficient to implement blended learning with FBO Media, (4) using FBO media can be an alternative as a flexible media to support blended learning. Based on this results, it is recommended that future researchers explore the development process of online flipbook media and evaluate its effectiveness on student learning outcomes in blended learning environments.

Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, technology-based media such as online flipbooks and PowerPoint presentations can potentially enhance the effectiveness of students' learning outcomes in Quran and Hadith studies. However, there is currently no research comparing the differences in learning outcomes based on the use of these two media. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in students' learning outcomes based on the use of flipbook and PPT as learning media. This research is a quantitative research with two independent variables and one dependent variable. The target of this research is the students of class XA and XB at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kota Batu, with a population sample of 50 students. The analysis in this study utilizes quantitative descriptive statistical methods and the One-Way ANOVA test. The research findings indicate that the significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the class that uses flipbook media and the class that uses PPT.

Abstract

Low self-awareness and confidence hinder learning strategies, reduce academic motivation, and prevent psychology-based educational strategies from developing optimally due to limited research integrating these factors. This study examines the influence of self-awareness and self-confidence on learning achievement, mediated by academic motivation. Data from 300 high school students in Indonesia were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire, while learning achievement was measured based on the average semester score. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis showed that self-awareness had a positive and significant effect on academic motivation (β = 0.45, p < 0.01) and learning achievement (β = 0.30, p < 0.01). Similarly, self-confidence positively influenced academic motivation (β = 0.35, p < 0.01) and learning achievement (β = 0.25, p < 0.01). Academic motivation was found to mediate the relationship between self-awareness and learning achievement (indirect effect = 0.20, p < 0.01) as well as between self-confidence and learning achievement (indirect effect = 0.15, p < 0.01). The proposed SEM model demonstrated a good fit with the data (χ² = 212.34, df = 149, p < 0.01; RMSEA = 0.045; CFI = 0.97; TLI = 0.96). These findings highlight the importance of self-awareness and self-confidence in enhancing learning achievement through increased academic motivation. This study contributes theoretically to understanding psychological factors affecting learning achievement and has practical implications for developing educational interventions. Future research is recommended to adopt a longitudinal design and mixed methods and explore mediator or moderator variables for more effective educational strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the principal's efforts in fostering organizational culture at MTs Darunnajah Jakarta, particularly in creating an educational climate that supports character development, discipline, and quality of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and students, participant observation of madrasah activities, and documentation analysis. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that organizational culture at MTs Darunnajah Jakarta is characterized by the existence of behavioral rules, norms, and dominant values that emphasize respect, politeness, discipline, and kinship. The principal plays a central role in fostering this culture through structural strategies, such as religious programs and routine activities, as well as non-structural strategies such as role models, moral development, and democratic communication. Supporting factors for fostering organizational culture include parental involvement, teacher loyalty, and the existence of character-building programs, while inhibiting factors include limited resources and the inactivity of some teachers and students. These findings emphasize the importance of visionary, transformational, and participatory leadership in building a productive and competitive organizational culture in madrasas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility assessment of gold pawn financing products and the implementation of Sharia-based Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at Bank Syariah Indonesia, KCP Surabaya Manukan. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the bank applies three feasibility indicators: character, capacity, and collateral (assessed through physical testing, chemical testing, and specific gravity testing), while capital and condition of economy are not applied. The implementation of Sharia-based GCG covers transparency, accountability in accordance with relevant laws and DSN-MUI fatwas, and fairness in customer service. However, accountability and professionalism aspects remain suboptimal due to the lack of specialized gold pawn training for staff, despite formal appointment. This condition may pose operational risks to the bank.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology, the Industrial Revolution 4.0, and ongoing social changes demand that education become more responsive and adaptive to contemporary challenges. In this context, the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in madrasas is essential for developing students' practical skills that are relevant to workforce demands and global challenges. This study aims to analyze the implementation of CBC at MTs Plus Al-Azhar Wlingi Blitar, evaluate its impact on students' competency development, and identify the challenges faced in its implementation. The research employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with the principal, teachers, and administrative staff directly involved in the CBC implementation. Based on interviews with the principal, curriculum vice principal, and teachers, the findings indicate that although there have been successes in CBC implementation, significant challenges remain. These include mastering more varied teaching techniques, time and resource constraints in project-based learning, and a gap between the skills taught and the needs of the industrial world. Proposed solutions include enhancing professional training for teachers, optimizing project-based learning planning, improving technological infrastructure, and strengthening partnerships with the industrial sector through activities such as field studies.
