Abstract

Fertilizer is a supporter of soil growth and enrichment so as to increase agricultural production while at the same time improving environmental quality. The use of fertilizer is adjusted to the amount of land needed and the number of seeds purchased. In reality, fertilizer for shallots is still difficult to obtain, and prices are still high above retail prices, making shallot farmers want fertilizer subsidies from the government even though the subsidies provided are still inadequate and uneven. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of providing fertilizer on land area, seed needs, and prediction of fertilizer needs for shallots. The results of this analysis resulted in the design of business processes in the supply of fertilizers using the Business Process Reengineering Life Cycle method. Primary data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews with shallot farmers. The results showed that the production of fertilizer needs in accordance with the area of land and the number of seeds used. Therefore, efforts to increase the competitiveness of shallots can be carried out by proposing the BPR Life Cycle, so that the proposed framework is expected to be realized in order to increase productivity and build farmer institutions to realize further agricultural development.

Abstract

Agriculture is a source of income for the country. One of the most promising agricultural commodities is shallots. Shallots are always found in every traditional market, traditional markets are one of the connecting places between buyers and sellers of shallots to carry out buying and selling activities of shallots. Onion buying and selling activities carried out in traditional markets are still conventional in this case, such as payment processing activities that still use cash, then in traditional markets the price of shallots is still not fixed, aka buyers can still haggle, so these two things are quite time-consuming and personnel in business process activities of shallot sales transactions. For this reason, here the author has the goal of doing business process reengineering to make the business process of buying and selling shallots in traditional markets more effective and efficient. By using the business process reengineering method, shallot transaction activities can be carried out using an e-commerce system, where the aim of this e-commerce system is to produce faster times for shallot transaction activities, process trimming, and reduce human resources in previous business process activities. as well as reducing costs. Thus, it is hoped that e-commerce can make the business process of buying and selling shallots between consumers and shallot traders more effective and efficient.

Abstract

A strong design phase is necessary for good software. However, design errors in software can cause serious issues with its creation and use. Therefore, the goal of this study is to find risk variables that could have an early impact on software development. In this study, a machine learning technique called technique C4.5 is employed to create decision tree models. 100 respondents with software design experience participated in the online surveys and questionnaires that collected the data for this study in 2022. The C4.5 Algorithm was used in this study to analyze the data and determine the risk variables that affect the success of software design. The study's findings show that the C4.5 Algorithm-based model has a high level of accuracy (93.33%), which means that the data can offer crucial insights into understanding potential risks that may arise during the software design stage, enabling software developers to take the necessary precautions to lessen or eliminate these risks. In order to enhance the caliber and effectiveness of software design, this research is anticipated to provide a significant contribution to practitioners and academics in the field of software development.

Abstract

The creative thinking skills of students have become one of the focuses currently being pursued for improvement in Indonesia. This is manifested by incorporating creative thinking skills as one of the characters to be trained in the Merdeka Curriculum. This research aims to determine the profile of creative thinking skills of elementary school students in Surakarta city, thus providing considerations for the implementation and evaluation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research was conducted using a survey method. The sample consisted of 200 fourth-grade students from 9 elementary schools in 5 districts of Surakarta city. There were 106 (53%) female and 94 (47%) male students in the sample. Sample selection was done using purposive sampling, by selecting fourth-grade classes as they have been implementing the Merdeka Curriculum for 2 years. The instrument used was a case-based essay test. The questions referred to the elements and sub-elements of creative thinking skills from the regulations governing the Profil Pelajar Pancasila of the Merdeka Curriculum. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The research findings indicate that the creative thinking skills of elementary school students in Surakarta City are still relatively low, with an average score of 49.87. The implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, which focuses on 6 dimensions of student character, one of which is creative thinking, has not yet been able to enhance students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD Negeri Joglo Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Peneliti menggunakan jenis metode kuantitatif dengan subyek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang dilaksanakan SD Negeri Joglo Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan menggunakan One Group Pre-test – Postest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistic yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh atau tidak dalam penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis pada peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test diketahui bahwa nilai probilitasnya sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil pre-tes dan posttes yang signifikan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, artinya bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Pada Pembelajaran IPAS Kelas IV SD Negeri Joglo Surakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the RADEC learning model on creative thinking skills in IPAS subjects for fifth-grade students at SD N Tugu Jebres Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Tugu Jebres Surakarta. The subjects of the study were all 27 fifth-grade students. The student population consists of 9 male students and 18 female students. This research is a pre-experimental study with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, documentation, and creative thinking ability tests. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests (Paired Sample T-Test) with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant effect between the use of the RADEC learning model and students' creative thinking skills.Based on the results of the Paired Sample T-Test, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant effect. Thus, the RADEC learning model is effective for improving students' creative thinking skills in IPAS subjects for fifth-grade elementary school

Abstract

This study focuses on determining whether the use of letter card learning media has an effect on the reading skills of grade I students in Indonesian language at SD N Joglo No. 76 Surakarta in 2025. This quantitative investigation applied a Quasi-Experimental Design in the form of a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. All grade I students at SD N Joglo 76 Surakarta in the 2025 academic year served as the population in this study. The sampling method used was total sampling, with 27 grade IA students as participants. The information gathering process involved observation, documentation, and testing. The analysis of the research data revealed a hypothesis test result with a calculated t-value of 5.104. The t-table value at 26 degrees of freedom (i.e., 27-1) and a significance level of 5% was 2.056. The normality test results showed that the calculated t-value (5.104) exceeded the t-table value (2.056), thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This research also found a change in the average student interest in learning from 65.07 (at the initial stage) to 81.63 (at the final stage). Therefore, it can be concluded that letter cards as a learning medium impacted the reading skills of first-grade students in Indonesian language learning at SD N Joglo No. 76 Surakarta in 2025.

Abstract

Sub Bidang Promosi dan Informasi bertugas melaksanakan sebagian dari tanggung jawab Badan Penghubung Provinsi Lampung di Jakarta terkait promosi, informasi, dan layanan Anjungan Lampung Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). Tidak efektifnya penggunaan fasilitas teknologi menjadi salah satu faktor utama yang menyebabkan kurangnya peningkatan kinerja, seperti yang terlihat dari laporan kinerja tahun 2020 selama pandemi COVID-19 di mana target tidak tercapai. Kurangnya efektivitas ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk penggunaan teknologi informasi yang tidak optimal. Data kinerja pegawai dari tahun 2020 hingga 2021 menunjukkan penurunan kinerja di Subsektor Promosi dan Informasi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan penelitian khusus dengan seluruh 50 pegawai di Sub Bidang Promosi dan Informasi sebagai populasi. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan pendekatan sampel jenuh, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan manajemen pengetahuan secara parsial terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model on the scientific literacy skills of third-grade students at SD Negeri Bibisluhur 1 Surakarta. The background of this research is the low scientific literacy ability of students, particularly in critically, creatively, and contextually understanding scientific concepts, which is influenced by the dominance of conventional learning models that do not actively engage students. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of the one group pretest-posttest type. The population was all third-grade students of SD Negeri Bibisluhur 1 Surakarta in the academic year 2024/2025, and a total of 28 students from class III A were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using written tests, observation, and documentation. The test instruments were validated using validity and reliability tests and analyzed with normality and hypothesis testing through a paired sample t-test using SPSS version 25. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ scientific literacy after the implementation of the RADEC model. The average pretest score was 51.07, which increased to 78.93 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the RADEC model had a significant effect on scientific literacy. This improvement was evident in three main indicators: the ability to explain scientific phenomena, the ability to design and evaluate scientific questions, and the ability to interpret scientific data and evidence logically.

Abstract

Addressing the challenges of the 21st century requires the mastery of critical thinking skills as a core competency. However, interviews and observations conducted by the researchers with both teachers and students revealed that students' critical thinking abilities remain relatively low. This is evident in their limited capacity to comprehend information, analyze problems, evaluate situations, and formulate appropriate solutions. Furthermore, the teaching methods used are still traditional and do not integrate subject matter with local contexts relevant to students’ daily lives. This study aimed to examine the effect of implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, incorporating local wisdom, on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SDN Gandekan Surakarta, consisting of 25 students. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The findings showed a significant difference in students’ critical thinking skills before and after the application of the CTL model with a local wisdom approach. A paired sample t-test yielded a two-tailed significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the intervention had a statistically significant impact. The average test scores increased from 61.68 (pretest) to 82.12 (posttest), and the average questionnaire score rose from 52.80% to 81.40%. These results suggest that the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model based on local wisdom effectively enhances students’ critical thinking skills in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning.
