Abstract

Digital-based learning problem, particularly during COVID-19 pandemic, has given both serious obstacles and risks to the student with disability. Under a rather limited self-sustaining capacity, often it inhibits each learning dynamic that are being held. This challenge will certainly affect the mental and physical health of the students. Hence, the effort requires adequate self-provision and environmental roles to facilitate the student with disability to surpass the obstacles. Therefore, this study aims to understand the correlation between self-regulation and peer support to burnout in undergraduate student with disability. This study uses quantitative design with multiple correlation approach. The research participants were 41 students selected using snowball sampling technique. The measurement scale consists of self-regulation scale, peer support scale, and burnout scale. The result of the study shows that there is a similar correlation between self-regulation, peer support and burnout. Each independent variables has significant negative relationship with the student's burnout. Low levels of burnout illustrate how students with disabilities are able to improve their self-regulation skills and able to seek and acquire appropriate support from college friends, to address any difficulties in the educational process.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought mothers to experience additional roles and responsibilities when their children should study from home. This kind of situation causes stress that cannot be controlled and it continues to increase, so it needs internal support (self) and external support (environment) to minimize the level of maternal stress experienced. Following up on this, this study aims to determine the relationship between optimism and husband's social support with the maternal stress level for mothers, and the differences in maternal stress level among housewives and multiple-role mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research used multiple and comparative correlational quantitative. 102 people which consist of 51 housewives and 51 multiple-role mothers participated in this research using the snowball sampling technique. The measurement scale consists of an optimism scale, a husband's social support scale, and a stress scale. The result proved that simultaneous optimism and husband's social support related to the stress that happened to the mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as specifically each independent variable related to the stress that happened in mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Comparatively, the result proved that there was no stress difference between housewives and multiple-role mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the problem of maternal stress during the COVID-19 pandemic could be handled well since the housewives and multiple-role mothers were able to create moderative optimism and their husbands put high support on them.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in mothers taking on additional responsibilities for their children's at-home learning, leading to increased stress levels. This study aimed to determine the differences in maternal stress levels between housewives and mothers with multiple roles during the pandemic. A comparative quantitative method was used with 200 participants (100 housewives and 100 mothers with multiple roles), who were selected through snowball sampling and assessed using the Perceived Stress Scale. The results showed no significant difference in stress levels between the two groups. This suggests that the stress experienced is a common concern for both housewives and mothers with multiple roles, and poses a risk to their mental health during the pandemic. This study highlights the need for support and resources to help mothers manage stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recommendations for future research could include exploring specific stressors experienced by each group and developing targeted interventions to support maternal mental health. Additionally, it may be useful to evaluate the long-term impacts of the pandemic on maternal stress levels and the potential for resilience and recovery.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kepatuhan karyawan instalasi gizi rumah sakit X terhadap program service excellence. Metode yang digunakan adalah mix-method dengan pendekatan sequential design strategi explanatory. Sebanyak 20 karyawan instalasi gizi rumah sakit X dijadikan sebagai partisipan penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengukuran penelitian kuesioner menggunakan skala kepatuhan Blass (1999) (α = 0,929) dan item wawancara didasarkan pada aspek kepatuhan Blass (1999). Metode analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan uji analisis deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif menggunakan analisis hasil transkrip wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepatuhan karyawan instalasi gizi berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 65%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa karyawan instalasi gizi sudah mulai patuh pada peraturan walaupun belum maksimal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya usaha untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pada karyawan instalasi gizi terhadap program service excellence agar mampu memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal. Penelitian yang akan datang, hendaknya bisa mengembangkan penelitian dengan mencari faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan seseorang terhadap suatu peraturan.

Abstract

Being a parent can be both rewarding and challenging for adults. To be able to implement effective parenting, parents need to have various knowledge and understanding of their children's development and effective parenting strategies, especially in this modern era. On the other hand, not all parents have the knowledge and understanding of child development and effective parenting methods. Therefore, the community service team of the Faculty of Psychology collaborated with the Dharma Wanita Management of SMA N 1 Tengaran to conduct parenting psychoeducation aimed at Dharma Wanita members. This psychoeducation was conducted to increase parents' knowledge about child development and parenting strategies. After participating in this parenting psychoeducation activity, parents are expected to increase their knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent development, adolescent issues, and parenting strategies in the digital era. The results of the evaluation of the psychoeducation participants' reactions showed that this activity had material that suited the needs of the participants, was delivered clearly, had interesting content and was well organized.

Abstract

Pernikahan merupakan bagian penting dalam kehidupan sosial. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2022, Jawa Tengah menempati urutan ketiga dalam angka perceraian tertinggi. Berbagai faktor, seperti tekanan ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya, dapat memengaruhi kepuasan pernikahan. Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara bahasa cinta dengan kepuasan pernikahan di Jawa Tengah, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi pasangan di wilayah ini meliputi persaingan ekonomi yang tinggi, beban kerja yang meningkat, serta tekanan sosial dari keluarga besar yang masih memegang norma budaya tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi pada 125 pasangan yang telah menikah minimal lima tahun dan memiliki anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan antara penerapan bahasa cinta dan kepuasan pernikahan (r = 0,582, p < 0,05). Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi pasangan untuk lebih memahami dan menerapkan bahasa cinta guna meningkatkan kualitas hubungan. Penelitian ini juga berkontribusi bagi program edukasi pernikahan dan konseling keluarga. Kata kunci: bahasa cinta, kepuasan pernikahan, pasangan menikah

Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir adalah golongan individu yang mulai memasuki masa untuk mengeksplorasi karier masa depan. Namun, kurangnya orientasi masa depan berisiko menimbulkan adanya kecemasan karier pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan orientasi masa depan dengan kecemasan karier pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan metode analisis spearman’s rank correlation coefficients. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik accidental sampling dengan 112 mahasiswa dari berbagai universitas di Jawa Tengah berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala kecemasan karier dan skala orientasi masa depan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara orientasi masa depan dengan kecemasan karier dengan nilai koefisien korelasi -.477 dan nilai signifikansi 0.000 (p < 0.05). Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi orientasi masa depan, maka semakin rendah kecemasan karier. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi masa depan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecemasan karier yang dialami oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Abstract

Remaja sering kali mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat keputusan untuk masa depannya dan belum memiliki orientasi masa depan yang terarah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan orientasi masa depan remaja adalah melalui pelatihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas pelatihan “Aku dan Masa Depan” dalam meningkatkan orientasi masa depan siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan one group pretestand posttest design. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 33 siswa dari salah satu SMA negeri di Kabupaten Semarang. Skala yang adalah skala Orientasi Masa Depan yang dikembangkan oleh Winurini berdasarkan teori Seginer. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor orientasi masa depan yang signifikan antara sebelum mengikuti pelatihan dengan setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Dengan itu, pelatihan “Aku dan Masa Depan” terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan orientasi masa depan remaja, khususnya pada aspek kognitif dan motivasi.

Abstract

Final year students are often associated with problems in career decision making, one of these factors is student beliefs, in this case self-efficacy. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making. The research was conducted using quantitative correlational methods, subjects were recruited using accidental sampling techniques and found 300 final year students in Central Java with 61% female subjects and 39% male subjects. The measuring instruments used are the General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) and the Career Decision Making Proficiency Scale (CDMPS). Based on data that has been processed using the Spearman rho correlation test, it is stated that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in final year students in Central Java with a value of r = 0.172 and sig. = 0.001, which indicates that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the career decision making. This emphasizes the importance of the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making, by motivating students and convincing students in their career choices, which increases confidence in the career choices they choose.Mahasiswa tingkat akhir seringkali dikaitkan dengan permasalahan dalam pengambilan keputusan karier salah satu faktor tersebut adalah keyakinan mahasiswa dalam hal ini efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan career decision making. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional,subjek direkrut menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dan ditemukan 300 mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Jawa Tengahdengan subjek perempuan sebanyak 61% dan laki-laki 39%. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) dan Career Decision Making Proficiency Scale (CDMPS). Berdasarkan data yang telah diolah menggunakan uji korelasi spearman rho, dinyatakan ada hubungan positif dan signifikan (r = 0,172, sig.= 0,001) antara efikasi diri dengan career decision making pada mahasiswa tahun terahir di Jawa Tengah, yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi efikasi diri, semakin tinggi career decision making. Hal tersebut menekankan kepentingan hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan career decision making, dengan memotivasi mahasiswa dan meyakinkan mahasiswa dalam pilihan karier mereka, yang meningkatkan keyakinan dari pilihan karier yang mereka pilih.
