Abstract

Kepala dan Wakil Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin sekolah perlu menguasai kompetensi kepemimpinan. Usaha tersebut terus diupayakan oleh  Kepala dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah TK-SD-SMP-SMA Bintang Laut sebagai tim koordinatorat. Tim Koordinatorat terlebih dahulu mengundang pelaksana pengabdian melakukan identifikasi kondisi internal dan eksternal dan menemukan permasalahan yaitu “Keterbatasan penguasaan kompetensi komunikasi kepemimpinan menimbulkan hambatan relasional dalam Tim Koordinatorat sehingga capaian kinerja tidak efektif”. Temuan tersebut ditindaklanjuti dengan penyusunan program seminar dan dialog dengan topik “Komunikasi Kepemimpinan Pendidikan untuk Kepala dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah” untuk dilaksanakan tanggal 14 Januari 2021. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan di SMA Bintang Laut Bagansiapiapi yang dimulai dengan pembukaan, penyampaian materi, dialog interaktif temuan permasalahan, pembahasan usul saran solusi, dan penutupan. Peserta melalui kegiatan ini mendapatkan pemahaman pentingnya komunikasi suportif seorang pemimpinan yaitu pemimpin sebagai komunikator manempatkan diri sejajar dengan karyawan, bicara terbuka, dan spontan, sehingga pesan-pesan evaluatif dalam komunikasi dapat diterima secara wajar. Dialog interaktif yang terjadi dalam pembahasan solusi atas permasalaahan riil yang dialami menyadarkan Tim Koordinatorat bahwa komunikasi interpersonal menjadi tidak efektif dipengaruhi oleh perilaku yang tidak terbuka, kurang empatik, serta tidak sportif. Hasil capaian ini perlu tindaklanjut pendampingan perbaikan perilaku komunikasi oleh yayasan pengelola sekolah dan pengembangan konsep serta ketrampilan komunikasi supaya menjadi pembiasaan perilaku pimpinan sekolah.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) is the central figure in an organization or company. In order for management activity goes well, the company should have employees who are knowledgeable and high berketerampilan as well as the effort to manage the company seoptimal possible so performance increases. The success of the organization can be achieved if employees are able to create a good working achievements are supported by the leadership style of superiors and the motivation is given. Within each activity must have a purpose, as for the purpose of this research is to know the relationship of leadership styles with the achievements of the work of employees. To find out the relationship with the work achievement motivation of employees. The research is descriptive-quantitative sample with as many as 30 employees and data analysis with SPSS analysis of Rank Spearman and T Test manually or statistical formulas. The results of this study suggest that (1) based on the results of the calculation obtained value t calculate of 3.241 and t table of 2.048 or t t > count table (3.241 > 2.048) so the then Ho is rejected and accepted which means there is Ha relationships significantly between leadership styles with the accomplishment of work. (2) calculation of the obtained results based on the value t calculate registration (5,267) greater than t table (2.048), Ho is rejected and accepted which means there is Ha relationship was significant between achievement motivation.Keyword: leadership styles, motivation, work achievement..

Abstract

The absorption and performance of graduates are part of the outcomes that must be achieved by every college, including Akademi Kesehatan John Paul II Pekanbaru (AKJP II Pekanbaru). Users of graduates hope to get workers who have insight, skills, and work behavior that can adapt to the vision, mission, and goals of the organization. Therefore, Akademi Kesehatan John Paul II Pekanbaru carries out activities to make graduates ready to work apart from trying to achieve the target of competent students in the national competency test to graduate on time. Because of that, AKJP II Pekanbaru held an interactive seminar and discussion activity "The Influence of Organizational Commitment on Organizational Behavior" for 2022/2023 graduates which was held on January 14, 2021. The activities was held at AKJP II Pekanbaru started with the opening, delivery of material, and interactive dialogue. Through this activity, participants understand the importance of an employee having an organizational commitment, which means the employee has an emotional bond with the employing organization and wants to remain part of the organization. Employees who have organizational commitment will behave in accordance with the vision, mission and goals of the organization. Organizational behavior must be realized so that an employee can gain job satisfaction for himself and have a positive impact on the organization.

Abstract

This study analyzes the verdict in the Ferdy Sambo case through the lens of Critical Theory and Habermas' deliberative democracy to understand how law operates within power structures. Using a qualitative, critical-legal approach based on Habermas' framework, it examines court decisions, media reports, and institutional dynamics. The findings reveal that law is influenced by political and institutional dynamics rather than being fully neutral. The Supreme Court’s reduction of Ferdy Sambo’s sentence from death to life imprisonment reflects institutional compromise to preserve social stability and the police’s image. Technological manipulation, such as CCTV footage deletion, and public and media pressures during the trial further illustrate how legal communication is distorted by power relations. The study highlights the need for legal reforms beyond procedural aspects, emphasizing more democratic and inclusive communication mechanisms. Referring to Habermas' theory, it stresses that transparency and accountability are crucial to prevent law from merely legitimizing elite interests and to promote law as a means of social emancipation

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merumuskan strategi manajemen yang tepat untuk prediksi risiko dalam tata kelola pendidikan di AKJP II Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi untuk mengidentifikasi potensi permasalahan pada tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Hasil/temuan penelitian diperoleh 10 potensi masalah yang selanjutnya diklasifikasikan menjadi 3 risiko spekulatif, 1 risiko murni, 5 risiko internal, dan 1 risiko eksternal. Pemetaan masalah menghasilkan distribusi risiko: 5 risiko tinggi, 4 risiko sedang, dan 1 risiko rendah. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perumusan strategi pengelolaan risiko dimana manajemen menerapkan berbagai strategi antara lain strategi pembagian risiko untuk risiko ekstrim, strategi pengurangan risiko dan strategi penghindaran risiko untuk risiko tinggi, strategi pengalihan risiko dan pengurangan risiko untuk risiko sedang, dan strategi retensi risiko untuk risiko rendah. Hasil kajian berkontribusi memberikan kontribusi kepada AKJP II Pekanbaru dalam hal strategi manajemen risiko. Diharapkan dengan dilaksanakannya strategi tersebut dapat menghindari dan mengurangi dampak risiko bagi AKJP II Pekanbaru dalam tata kelola pendidikan tahun ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Performance is important for every organisation, including universities. Various factors influence performance, including compensation, organizational commitment (OC), and organizational behaviour (OB). These factors are the variables in this research. The aim of this research is to determine the effects of compensation and organizational commitment on employee performance through organizational behaviour as the intervention. This research is a quantitative research, using non-probability sampling and using a questionnaire for collecting the data. The research results show that compensation has a direct effect on Employee Performance (EP), Organizational Behavior (OB) has a direct effect on Employee Performance (EP), and Organizational Behavior (OB) can be a variable that links organizational commitment (OC) to Employee Performance (EP).

Abstract

Remaja sering kali mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat keputusan untuk masa depannya dan belum memiliki orientasi masa depan yang terarah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan orientasi masa depan remaja adalah melalui pelatihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas pelatihan “Aku dan Masa Depan” dalam meningkatkan orientasi masa depan siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan one group pretestand posttest design. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 33 siswa dari salah satu SMA negeri di Kabupaten Semarang. Skala yang adalah skala Orientasi Masa Depan yang dikembangkan oleh Winurini berdasarkan teori Seginer. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor orientasi masa depan yang signifikan antara sebelum mengikuti pelatihan dengan setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Dengan itu, pelatihan “Aku dan Masa Depan” terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan orientasi masa depan remaja, khususnya pada aspek kognitif dan motivasi.

Abstract

Perubahan yang cepat dan dinamis dalam sektor kesehatan menuntut tenaga kesehatan, termasuk Ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Medik (ATLM), untuk memiliki kesiapan berubah serta perilaku kerja yang inovatif. Kesiapan berubah mencerminkan kesiapan psikologis dan perilaku individu dalam menghadapi transformasi organisasi maupun lingkungan kerja, yang menjadi fondasi penting bagi peningkatan mutu layanan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh Akademi Kesehatan John Paul II Pekanbaru melalui seminar dan diskusi interaktif guna membekali lulusan dengan pemahaman tentang kesiapan untuk berubah dan implementasinya dalam perilaku kerja inovatif. Metode seminar digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi konseptual, sementara diskusi interaktif mendorong refleksi kritis dan partisipasi aktif peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya kesiapan berubah, yang mencakup tahapan deteksi, perencanaan, implementasi, serta evaluasi dan umpan balik. Selain itu, indikator perilaku kerja inovatif seperti pembangkitan ide, promosi ide, dan implementasi ide mampu diidentifikasi serta dirumuskan dalam konteks kerja ATLM. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya pendekatan edukatif partisipatif dalam menumbuhkan budaya inovasi dan adaptasi yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan kerja tenaga kesehatan.

Abstract

The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises announced that three state-owned sharia banks consisting of BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah and Mandiri Syariah will be integrated to form Bank Syariah Indonesia, which will be established on February 1, 2021. The unification of three sharia commercial banks under state ownership is a long wait. to create the largest sharia commercial bank with large capital is answered in this case. Finding variations in financial performance before and after the merger is the aim of this research. Capital adequacy ratio (CAR), non-performing financing (NPF), return on assets (ROA), total operating expenses and total operating income (BOPO), and loan savings ratio (FDR) are the five ratios used in this study. Quarterly financial reports from Q1 2021 to Q3 2023 after the merger, and Q2 2018 to Q4 2020 before the merger are used as samples for this research. Research findings show that Bank Syariah Indonesia's financial performance varied before and after the merger. This difference shows an increase in financial performance after the merger.
