Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tindakan operasi pada anak dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya kecemasan pada orang tua. Kecemasan orang tua terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan. Tingkat Kecemasan dapat diatasi dengan cara diberikan edukasi.  Penyuluhan dengan alat bantu media berupa media flip chart merupakan salah satu bentuj edukasi. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh intervensi penyuluhan dengan menggunakan media flip chart terhadap tingkat kecemasan orang tua pada pasien operasi labioplasty di YPPCBL. Metode : Jenis penelitian analitik menggunakan metode quasi experiment. Populasi penelitian orang tua pasien penderita celah bibir di YPPCBL. Sample diambil secara accidental sebanyak 20 sampel orang tua pasien operasi labioplasty di YPPCBL. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil : Tingkat kecemasan orang tua pasien yang akan dilakukan operasi labioplasty sebelum dilakukan intervensi 95 % masuk kedalam kategori kecemasan ringan. Setelah dilakukan intervensi penyuluhan seluruh orang tua (100%) tidak mengalami kecemasan. Analisis Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat kecemasan orang tua pasien operasi labioplasty sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan dengan menggunakan media flip chart (Sig = 0,000 < 0,05). Kesimpulan : Intervensi penyuluhan dengan media flip chart dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan orang tua pasien operasi labioplasty

Abstract

Latar Belakang:. Maloklusi memiliki dampak terhadap pengunyahan, estetik wajah, dan status psikososial seseorang. Psikososial merupakan keterkaitan antara 2 aspek yaitu aspek psikologis dan sosial. Masa remaja adalah masa penuh dinamika, terutama pada fase remaja awal pada rentang usia 12-15 tahun. Fase remaja awal berlangsung bersamaan dengan masa pubertas atau masa perubahan fisik dari masa anak-anak menuju dewasa. Gigi anterior yang tidak rapi seperti gigi berjejal, gigi bercelah, dan gigi protrusi. Tujuan: Tujuan Penelitian ini diketahuinya Pengaruh Penggunaan Booklet Maloklusi Gigi Terhadap Minat Perawatan Gigi Berjejal Anterior (Orthodontie). Manfaat hasil penelitian sebagai masukan bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan masyarakat dalam membuktikan tentang Penggunaan Booklet Maloklusi Gigi Terhadap Minat Perawatan Gigi Berjejal Anterior (Orthodontie). Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan rancangan Pre- test-Post-test Design. Sampel adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama, di wilayah kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta sejumlah 100 siswa. Variabel pengaruh penggunaan booklet maloklusi gigi dan Variabel terpengaruh Minat perawatan gigi. Hasil: Hasil pengukuran pengetahuan awal pada kelompok eksperimen responden memiliki pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 29 orang (58%) sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol memiliki pengetahuan baik dan cukup 50 orang (50%). Pada hasil pengukuran pengetahuan akhir pada kelompok eksperimen responden memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 34 orang (68%) sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol responden memiliki pengetahuan baik 45 orang (75%). Hasil pengukuran tingkat minat awal pada kelompok eksperimen memiliki minat sedang 49 orang (98%), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol memiliki minat sedang 49 orang (98%). Hasil pengukuran minat akhir pada kelompok eksperimen responden memiliki minat tinggi sebanyak 45 orang (90%) sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol minat tinggi dan sedang sebanyak 34 orang (68%). Kesimpulan: Booklet maloklusi gigi berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat perawatan gigi berjejal anterior (orthodontie). Penggunaan booklet maloklusi gigi lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat perawatan gigi berjejal anterior (orthodontie) dari pada dengan media power point.

Abstract

Pain can be controlled through pain management which aims to reduce pain to a comfort level. The Benson relaxation technique is a relaxation method that combines breathing with words that contain elements of belief that can help achieve a higher level of health and well-being. This study aims to determine the effect of the Benson relaxation technique on reducing the pain scale in patients after odontectomy surgery. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest post-test design. Population: all 125 patients after odontectomy surgery. Patient selection was carried out using a purposive sampling technique of 56 patients. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate with the Mann-Whitney Test. The results of the study obtained a p-value of 0.000, which means that there was an influence before and after being given the Benson relaxation technique on reducing the pain scale after odontectomy surgery. Thus, it can be concluded that the Benson relaxation technique affect reducing the pain scale in patients after odontectomy surgery at RSKGM Bandung City.

Abstract

 A feasibility study is an action that involves in-depth research on a venture or business that will be implemented, with the aim of assessing whether the business is suitable to be run or not.  Red grape infused water has potential in preventing dental caries.  This is because red grape infused water can increase the pH level of plaque and saliva, so it can inhibit the growth of plaque bacteria and the production of acid by plaque bacteria. Aims to understand market and marketing aspects, technical and technological aspects, operational management aspects, financial aspects, juridical aspects. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection was carried out using interview and observation techniques.  Shows sales of infused water drinks in Cibatu District, products sold at a decent profit. The infused water business is declared feasible from market and marketing aspects, technical and technological aspects, operational management aspects, financial aspects and juridical aspects.  Apart from that, infused water can be used as an entrepreneurial activity in your free time.

Abstract

Rampant caries is a condition in which disease in the hard tissues of the teeth spreads rapidly and affects several teeth at once. This condition is characterized by most or all of the baby teeth being black. The preschool period is considered crucial, because at the age of 2-2.5 years all baby teeth have grown and at the age of 6 years have begun to erupt. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of parents of PAUD Al-Azhar students about caries rampant at the age of preschool children and to determine the number of students who experience caries rampant based on patterns. This research method is a descriptive survey that is useful for describing the results of research. The sampling technique used total sampling. Respondents were 21 parents of students and students of PAUD AlAzhar, whose knowledge level was measured and caries rampant was seen. Data analysis was processed statistically and represented in a frequency distribution table using the SPSS application. The results showed that the knowledge of parents of PAUD Al-Azhar students about caries rampant with moderate criteria as much as (57.1%) and 11 students of PAUD Al-Azhar experienced caries rampant (52.4%). The level of knowledge of parents of students with moderate criteria illustrates the cause of the high incidence of caries rampant in children of PAUD Al-Azhar Cipacing Village.

Abstract

Tooth coloring or stain is a color that sticks to the surface of the teeth, usually due to the adhesion of food color, drink, or nicotine content which is the substance that produces tooth stain. This case occurred in Mr. MA who was 21 years old who had a habit of consuming coffee and cigarettes. The aim of this research is to determine the results of dental and oral health care for clients who have the habit of consuming coffee and cigarettes at the Dental Health Department clinic. This research method is a case report with the concept of dental and oral health care which consists of a process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. This research involved examining Mr. MA using a medical record summary sheet. After carrying out the examination, the diagnosis stated that there were 5 basic human needs that were not met. The implementation carried out on clients is cleaning tooth stains, cleaning tartar, filling fissure sealants, counseling using the Chair Side Talk method and oral physiotherapy. The evaluation results show that there are 5 basic human needs that have been met, so the client's 8 basic human needs have been fully met.

Abstract

School Dental Health Business (UKGS) is a program launched by the government that must be implemented and is an integral part of the School Health Business (UKS). UKGS services are carried out in a planned manner, for students, especially primary school students, within a certain period of time and are organized on an ongoing basis. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of planning School Dental Health Business (UKGS) at SDN 1 Jagapura Wetan. The type of research used is qualitative with a focus interviewed design. The subjects selected to obtain information were the Head of the health center, the Principal, the School Committee and 9 parents of students. Information about infrastructure facilities, stated that SDN 1 Jagapura Wetan has 6 classes, there are UKS facilities, training on UKS has been held, already has a small doctor, has a good and clear water source, has an empty room to be used as UKGS, there is scheduled guidance from the puskesmas once a semester. The school also has an adequate source of electricity. Research that has been conducted regarding the Feasibility Study of UKGS Development Planning at SDN 1 Jagapura Wetan proves that SDN 1 Jagapura Wetan is feasible to establish UKGS because it has fulfilled the requirements for UKGS development and the responses given by informants received positive responses and agreed to establish UKGS. Conclusion: SDN 1 Jagapura Wetan deserves to establish UKGS because it has fulfilled the requirements for UKGS development.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology is an important element in national and state life. Information technology has become the main facility for activities in various sectors of life, which has contributed greatly to fundamental changes in the operational structure and management of education, health and research. An application is a program that is ready to be used which is created to carry out a function for the user in solving problems using of this research is to dig up information on using the Touch YoPick Application, to find out how to brush your teeth using the Touch YoPick Application, to find out how to use the Touch YoPick Application properly. The design used in this research is a sequential exploratory mixed methods design. The first stage with qualitative research was to explore user needs for the YoPick Touch Application. The second stage is the application development stage so that a viable application is produced that meets user needs. Sampling used purposive sampling. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula as 52 people. The results of the Touch YoPick Application make it easier for elementary school students to receive education about how to brush their teeth. It is hoped that the Touch YoPick application can also be used by other elementary schools. Measuring the level of technology readiness can be done using applications that function to develop the role of technology in the current digital era so that students can easily receive information.
