Abstract

Flashcard adalah kartu yang memuat informasi di kedua sisi, yang dimaksudkan untuk digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam menghafal. Dalam dunia terapis Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), Flashcard dikembangkan untuk dapat menstimulasi perkembangan dan pemahaman ABK terhadap suatu objek bahkan situasi. Namun bentuk Flashcard secara fisik cukup rumit untuk dibawa bepergian, terapis juga akan terbatas pada kata yang tersedia dari pabrik saja, dengan kata lain terapis tidak bisa menambahkan kata-kata sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi Android yang dapat membantu terapis untuk lebih mudah membawa dan mengembangkan media Flashcard, dimana pun dan kapan pun. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan UML sebagai landasan perancangan sistemnya dan menggunakan Android Studio 2019 untuk mengimplementasikan rancangan sistem menjadi aplikasi jadi. Aplikasi ini diuji dengan dua metode pengujian yakni Pengujian Black Box untuk menguji fungsionalitas input/output aplikasi dan pengujian oleh pengguna untuk menilai kelayakan guna aplikasi. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, dapat ditarik hasil bahwa aplikasi Flashcard Digital ini dapat berjalan dengan normal dan dinyatakan menjawab permasalahan efisiensi ruang dan pengembangan pada pihak terapis.

Abstract

Sistem pendukung keputusan merupakan program komputer yang dapat membantu manusia untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah yang spesifik.  Implementasi sistem pendukung keputusan banyak digunakan untuk kepentingan komersial karena sistem pendukung keputusan dipandang sebagai cara menyimpan pengetahuan manusia dalam bidang tertentu ke dalam suatu program termasuk menyentuh di bidang kedokteran.  Di Indonesia, kanker serviks menempati urutan pertama kanker pada wanita. Penyakit kanker mempunyai stadium tersendiri tergantung jenis kanker yang diderita, begitu juga pada kanker serviks. Terutama yang terjadi pada Rumah Sakit Labuang Baji Makassar, pasien kanker serviks rata – rata 20 orang pertahun dan  jumlah dokter yang menangani penyakit ini masih terbilang kurang.  Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan penalaran secara cepat dan cerdas, dengan penggunaan komputer melalui sistem pendukung keputusan mendiagnosa peyakit Kanker Serviks dengan metode certainty factor yaitu dengan didapatkan nilai kemungkinan gangguan pada pasien. Metode perancangan dari sistem ini menggunakan UML ( Unifield Modelling Languge) yaitu menggunakan use case diagram, Sequence diagram, Activity diagram , dan Class diagram. Tahap penelitian yang dilakukan dimulai dari pengumpulan bahan dan alat, analisis kebutuhan sistem, pengkodean, pengujian aplikasi dan implementasi. Dengan penyajian aplikasi yang berbasis web menjadi solusi untuk membantu dokter untuk mendiagnosa penyakit dan gejala yang dirasakan oleh pasien sehingga penanganan dan pengobatan bagi pasien dapat dilakukan secara cepat

Abstract

Manusia di jaman modern ini sangat bergantung dengan kebutuhan teknologi yang dimana segala bentuk informasi dapat dilihat pada perangkat ponsel pintar yaitu smartphone android. Salah satunya adalah pada lingkungan pendidikan seperti aplikasi pembelajaran yang berguna untuk memacu motivasi belajar siswa seperti pembelajaran bahasa inggris. Aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif bahasa inggris dalam bentuk mobile merupakan solusi yang dapat menjawab kekurangan dari sistem pembelajaran yang sudah ada, begitu pula pada Forum Kampung Bahasa Sulawesi (FKBS). FKBS merupakan salah satu lembaga penyedia fasilitas pembelajaran bahasa inggris yang cukup populer di kota Makassar, dimana dalam proses pembelajarannya, materi bahan pelajaran dan materi soal-soal latihan yang tersedia masih dalam bentuk lembaran-lembaran kertas sehingga setiap siswa harus menyempatkan waktu untuk mendapatkan materi-materi tersebut dengan cara membuat lembaran copy atau mengambil gambar dari tiap lembarnya dengan menggunakan kamera handphone. Penelitian ini bermaksud membangun suatu aplikasi yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran pada FKBS agar lebih efektif dan efisien dengan memanfaatkan teknologi android. Metode perancangan dari sistem ini menggunakan UML (Unifield Modelling Languge) yaitu menggunakan use case diagram, Sequence diagram, Activity diagram , dan Class diagram yang dilengkapi dengan metode pengujian black box untuk fungsional system. Dari penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk penyajian aplikasi berbasis android ini menjadi solusi sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa inggris yang memberikan kemudahan dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan bantuan perangkat smartphone android yang dapat digunakan dimana saja dan kapan saja dengan tampilan gambar yang menarik.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. However, there are still many people who do not understand Islam itself, especially how to read the Qur'an correctly and correctly. In fact, the Qur'an itself discusses two major problems, the problem of this world and the problem of the hereafter. So it is very important for us as Muslims to learn it. DIROSA (Qur'an Education for Adults) is a systematic, layered and continuous model of Islamic counseling for beginner Muslims (men and women; adolescents, adults, grandparents; converts). With this method, adults who want to learn to read the Qur'an will easily and quickly understand it. The system design model is described in the form of UML (Unified Modeling Language) by making use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. So with the use of technology, create an application that can help adults learn to understand the reading of the Qur'an by inserting the DIROSA method using Progressive Web Apps technology to present easy-to-use applications and learning methods that also make it easier for adults to learn.

Abstract

PT. Hadji Kalla is Toyota's official distributor for South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi. In running its business, the sales department often has difficulty meeting the public's need for Toyota brand car products, especially in handling the demand for cars that are indented. Indent orders occur due to increased orders but less car stock. To handle indent orders, it can be done by forecasting future consumer needs using previous data, it is necessary to design a sales forecast application using the single moving average method. The purpose of this study is to implement the single moving average method to reduce the demand or order for indent cars, and to test the system using the white-box method. The prediction results of indent car sales in August 2022 are 654 units with a MAPE value of 17.19%, and normal car predictions in August 2022 are 2.842 units with a MAPE value of 22.9%. The results of testing the system using the black-box method on the 18 modules, it was found that all the forms that were designed as a whole had worked as expected.

Abstract

Background:Early detection and screening of risk factors among pregnant women are essential efforts to identify potential risks during pregnancy. The impacts of these risks may include miscarriage, obstructed labor, antepartum hemorrhage, stillbirth, pregnancy-related poisoning, premature birth, low birth weight, and maternal mortality. Given the high incidence of risky pregnancies, healthcare workers are unable to identify all cases individually. Therefore, the involvement of the community in detecting pregnancy risks is crucial. A tool is required to allow pregnant women or community members to independently assess pregnancy risks, with results that can be accessed by healthcare workers through the JIHP education application. Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women after receiving education through the JIHP Android application. Method:A quasi-experimental design was used for this study, with a sample of 100 pregnant women divided into two groups: the intervention group (who received education through the JIHP Android application) and the control group (who did not receive education via the ebumil application). Simple random sampling was applied. The study variables were the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women, and data were collected using questionnaires on these two aspects. The Wilcoxon test was used for data analysis. Results:The findings indicated a significant increase in knowledge among the intervention group, from a pre-test score of 81.10 (post 1) to 91.50 (post 2), while the control group showed no increase, with scores of 45.75 (post 1) and 45.50 (post 2). Similarly, attitudes improved in the intervention group, with scores rising from 79.40 (post 1) to 90.25 (post 2). In contrast, the control group showed no change in attitudes, with scores of 45.80 (post 1) and 45.75 (post 2). The Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value of 0.000, which is less than α = 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the education provided through the JIHP application on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding risky pregnancies. Conclusion:The study concludes that education through the JIHP application significantly influences the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about high-risk pregnancies. Furthermore, there was a notable improvement in both knowledge and attitudes following the education intervention. It is expected that pregnant women will be able to apply the online knowledge gained to make informed decisions in managing their pregnancies.   Keywords:knowledge; attitude; Jaga Ibu Hamil Pesisir application

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of developing a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to enhance students' critical and creative skills in learning procedural texts at SMPN 7 Satap Maiwa. The goal was to create a dynamic, engaging, and effective learning environment using the PjBL model to improve students' skills, particularly in English learning. This research employed quantitative methods to provide empirical evidence on the effectiveness of the PjBL model in enhancing students' critical and creative thinking abilities in procedural text learning. The development of PjBL in education has seen significant progress, especially in secondary English language teaching. This study specifically aimed to assess the application of the PjBL model in teaching procedural texts, with a focus on creating posters using the Canva application by analyzing a tourist spot. The study involved 15 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group. The results showed a significant improvement in the students' scores from pre-test to post-test in the experimental group. The average pre-test score for the experimental group was 68.66, while the post-test mean score increased to 86.33. In comparison, the control group’s pre-test and post-test scores were 57.66 and 82.66, respectively. Statistical analysis revealed that the p-value was smaller than the α level (0.001 < 0.05), leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1, indicating that the use of PjBL in learning procedural texts had a positive impact. In conclusion, this study suggests that integrating the PjBL model can effectively enhance students' critical and creative skills, contributing to improved overall learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the models of English learning implemented for students with disabilities at SLB Negeri 1 Sidrap and evaluates how these models influence students' motivation to learn English. Employing a qualitative research design, data were gathered through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The results reveal that students show a strong preference for video-based and interactive learning activities. Teachers adopt diverse instructional strategies, including multisensory learning, game-based learning, and collaborative approaches, all tailored to meet students' individual needs. Despite these efforts, challenges persist, particularly in mastering tenses and maintaining focus during lessons. To overcome these obstacles, teachers offer personalized support, re-explain complex concepts, and assist slow writers by dictating materials. The findings highlight the crucial role of adaptive teaching strategies in enhancing the English learning experience for students with disabilities in special education settings.

Abstract

English proficiency is a crucial skill in the era of globalization, yet high school students often face challenges in actively practicing the language. This study examines the implementation and effectiveness of the "One Day in English" program at SMAN 1 Sidrap. The program adopts an immersive learning approach where students are required to use English throughout the day in various interactive activities. These activities include group discussions, presentations, daily conversations, and games aimed at enhancing both oral and written communication skills.Using observational methods and pre-and post-program assessments, the study evaluates improvements in students' English language abilities. The findings reveal significant progress in speaking fluency, vocabulary comprehension, and overall confidence in using English. Moreover, the interactive nature of the program fostered active student participation and created a supportive learning environment.This research highlights the potential of immersive learning strategies in addressing barriers to effective English learning. It offers a practical framework for schools to adopt similar programs to enrich language learning experiences and build students’ confidence in real-world communication.
