Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning methods on chemistry learning. Multimedia-assisted guided inquiry is that students are encouraged to be actively involved in the teaching and learning process. In order to provide proper visualization, tools are needed to stimulate it with temporal multimedia (audio, video and animation). This study used a quasi-experimental design (Quasy-Experimental) with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used in this study were the lesson plan (RPP) and multiple choice test question sheets. Before the instrument is used in the sample, the instrument is tested first with a validity test, a reliability test, a discriminating power test, and a difficulty level test. The sample taken in this study is class XI IPA-1 using guided inquiry model assisted by multimedia and XI IPA-2 using conventional methods. The average chemistry learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sikur who were taught with guided inquiry learning with multimedia assistance was higher than students who were taught using conventional methods, this can be seen from the average pretest score of the control class of 65.7 and the experimental class by 64.8. Then for the posttest results shown, the control class average score is 76.9 and for the experimental class 83.8. There is an effect of guided inquiry learning method with multimedia assistance on chemistry learning outcomes of class XI IPA students.

Abstract

This study was aimed at analyzing the difficulties of teachers in developing students' higher order thinking skills in learning biology. The populations of this study were all teachers at SMAS IT Dhiaul Fikri and MA Darul Aminin. The samples of this study were all biology subject teachers at SMAS IT Dhiaul Fikri and MA Darul Aminin. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with Biology teachers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. Descriptive statistics function to describe or provide an overview of the object under study with the aim of summarizing the data so that it is easy to understand through data samples or populations. The difficulties faced by teachers in developing students' higher-order thinking skills are: teachers find it difficult to cope with the different abilities of students, teachers are less able to determine appropriate learning methods and models, lack of understanding about developing higher order thinking skills, less able to adjust the questions with operational verbs contained in the learning indicators, and have not been able to cope with students who have different ways of showing their ability to think.

Abstract

This research as aim to know the influence of guidence inquiry toward student cognitive outcome on eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Sukamulia. This study was quasi experimental research in form of pretest and posttest for experimental and control group design. There are two group were chosen randomly pretest and posttest for experimental and control group. The technique of collecting data was used student outcome instrument. Meanwhile data analysis was used T test using SPSS 16.0. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the learning model of guidence inquiry has influence towards students’ cognitive outcome on eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Sukamulia. It can be seen from the significance result of T test is 0.000<0,05.

Abstract

This study was aim to determine the effectiveness of using Blended Learning with the Quipper School Platform towards students’ learning outcomes in biology class XI MIPA. Type of the study was quasi experimental research. The population of the study was all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 2 Selong. Meanwhile, the samples were two classes randomly taking from five classes. The samples obtained were class XI MIPA 5 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 4 as the control class. Multiple choice test was used as The instrument to collect data on students’ learning outcomes. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the SPSS 16.0 program with the T test at the 5% significance level. Prerequisite test is carried out before hypothesis testing namely normality and homogeneity data. The results of the significance value obtained for the normality of the control class and experimental class data were> 0.05, so it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. Meanwhile, for the data homogeneity test, the results obtained a significance value> 0.05 and it can be concluded that the data has a homogeneous variance. The results of hypothesis testing using the T test obtained a significance value of 0.003. Because the significance value <0.05, it can be concluded that the use of Blended Learning with the Quipper School Platform is effective towards students’ learning outcomes in biology class XI MIPA.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the difficulties of senior high school students at class X in learning chemistry using Contextual Teaching And Learning—based Approach on Two Tier Multiple Choice Instruments. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMAN 1 Masbagik. The samples in this study were determined by purposive random sampling which are the classes that have not reached the KKM, X IPA 2 class consists of 30 students and X IPA 3 32 students. X IPA 2 class will be taught conventionally meanwhile X IPA 3 class will be taught using the CTL approach. The instrument used to measure the students' level of difficulty is a two-tier multiple choice diagnostic test. The two tier multiple choice diagnostic test is a test with 2 tiers where tier 1 contains the answer and tier 2 contains the reason. The highest error percentages of conventional class was 54.1%, 26.8% understand, and 9.6% was misconception. While the CTL had lower error with the perentage 25.55%, 57.% understand, and 7.86% was misconception. It means that CTL affect sudents’ learning achievent about the concept of oxidation-reduction reactions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Model Pembelajaran Treffinger terhadap Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa SMA . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua perlakuan, yaitu perlakuan pertama berupa penggunaan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan perlakuan lainnya menggunakan pembelajaran yang biasa digunakan oleh guru. Terdapat satu variabel terikat yang diamati, yaitu keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Selong dan yang dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X. 2 dan X. 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa di SMAN 3 Selong. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji T, yaitu dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,003 < 0,05. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inquiry terbimbing terhadap aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulia pada mata pelajaran biologi tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulia tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian merupakan sampel total dan ditentukandengan teknik pengundian. Berdasarkan penarikan sampel tersebut, kelas XI IPA- sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas XI IPA-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test only control design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Data aktivitas belajar dianalisis menggunakan rumus skor rata-rata, hasil belajar menggunakan uji-t dan untuk aktivitas dan hasil belajar menggunakan rumus MANOVA. Hasil perhitungan aktivitas belajar menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen kelas kontrol (3,04 2,85), perhitungan hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa thitung ttabel yaitu (1,57 0,6801), dan untuk hasil perhitungan aktivitas dan hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung Ftabel yaitu (6,142 3,09) sehingga dapat disimpulkan: 1) ada pengaruh inquiry terbimbing terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulia pada mata pelajaran biologi tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, 2) ada pengaruh inquiry terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulia pada mata pelajaran biologi tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, 3) ada pengaruh inquiry terbimbing terhadap aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulia pada mata pelajaran biologi tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.

Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan berupa permasalahan sampah merupakan permasalahan yang masih terus terjadi dan belum terselesaikan dengan maksimal sampai saat ini. Permasalahan sampah yang terjadi ini tidak hanya terjadi pada skala industri, bisnis maupun rumahan, namun masalah sampah juga masih perlu perhatian pada skala lembaga pendidikan. Permasalahan sampah pada lembaga pendidikan juga perlu tindakan yang nyata dengan melibatkan semua pihak yang ada didalam lembaga pendidikan tersebut tidak terkecuali siswanya. Permasalahan sampah dilingkungan pada skala pendidikan juga masih terjadi di salah satu lembaga pendidikan di Lombok Timur, yaitu MAPK Jabal Hikmah. Pengetahuan dan praktik tentang pengelolaan sampah yang lebih ramah lingkungan masih minim pada lembaga pendidikan tersebut, sehingga masih perlu pembinaan maupun pelatihan tentang pengelolaan sampah dengan pendekatan biopori. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan sampah yang ramah lingkungan dengan pendekatan biopori.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the effectiveness of science learning using the problem-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of class VII A students at Sullamul Mubtadi Anjani Islamic Middle School. This research is a qualitative research using data collection methods including tests, observations, interviews and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation techniques, extends participation, and increases persistence. While the data analysis technique uses the Analysis Interactive model from Miles and Huberman including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or data verification. The results of the study show that through science learning by using the problem based learning model, it can improve students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen from the results of the critical thinking ability test that all students get results in the category of high-ability students. The results of interviews with teachers revealed that the science learning model using the problem-based learning model could improve students' critical thinking skills and the results of interviews students liked science learning using the problem-based learning model and could improve students' critical thinking skills according to the results of the overall interview. towards teachers and students. Then the results of the observation of activity showed that students in class VII A were active in learning according to the assessment of each indicator made by the researcher.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melakukan meta-analisis mengenai penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran biologi, dengan menyoroti pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman siswa, motivasi belajar, serta efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah meta-analisis. Meta-analisis ini mengkaji berbagai studi yang membahas penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran biologi di tingkat pendidikan dasar hingga menengah. Sumber data yang digunakan meliputi artikel-artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal pendidikan, tesis, disertasi, dan laporan penelitian yang relevan. Berdasarkan review jurnal yang dilakukan, penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran biologi dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep-konsep biologi, motivasi belajar, serta keterampilan kognitif dan kolaboratif siswa. Namun, untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal, diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pengadaan infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai, pelatihan bagi guru untuk menguasai perangkat digital, serta evaluasi terus-menerus terhadap efektivitas penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran.
