Abstract

Kecamatan Sekotong termasuk dalam salah satu wilayah pesisir di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Wilayah pesisir rentan akan terjadinya bencana banjir terutama ketika memasuki musim penghujan karena adanya 2 pertemuan air yang berasal dari bukit dan air pantai pasang yang diapit oleh sungai diantara keduanya. Hal tersebut dapat berdampak lebih besar jika dibarengi oleh musim penghujan dengan intensitas yang besar dan cukup lama. Selain ancaman banjir, Kecamatan Sekotong juga memiliki potensi ancaman gempa bumi karena letaknya yang dekat dengan pesisir. Maka dari itu, tim mahasiswa KKN melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi edukasi sadar bencana SOP mitigasi bencana banjir dan gempa bumi di beberapa sekolah salah satunya di SMKN 1 Sekotong. Hampir siswa di SMKN 1 Sekotong belum pernah mendapatkan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi terkait SOP mitigasi bencana. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan kesadaran akan pentingnya mengetahui risiko, dampak serta langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan sebelum, saat dan setelah bencana melanda.

Abstract

Indicates that it is closely related to the perspective, social status, traditions and customs of the local community. Therefore, it is interesting to research in more depth from the linguistic and cultural aspects. The aim of this research is to describe the lexemes used to label woven fabrics in the Bima community and explain the cultural views of the local community which are reflected in the lexemes for woven fabrics in the Bima community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection using interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the research show that there are five types of woven fabric based on the yarn used, namely tembe nggoli kabali, tembe galendo, tembe salungka, tembe mesrais, and tembe kafa na'e, while there are 15 types of woven fabric based on motifs, including tembe salungka nggusu waru, tembe salungka karai cepe, tembe salungka kabate oi moti, tembe salungka ante fare, tembe salungka fu'u ringi dan pariah, tembe salungka kakando, tembe salungka dumu kakando, tembe salungka coma kapi, tembe salungka mada sahe, tembe salungka kapempe, tembe salungka raba, tembe salungka nasi, tembe salungka uma lengge, tembe salungka bunga satako, and tembe salungka kapi keu. In the color category of Bima woven cloth there are nine colors, namely yellow, green, blue, black, white, red, brown, purple and orange. For the community, lace weaving is an activity that must be carried out by every woman in this village, of all ages, regardless of their status and educational background.

Abstract

The iincreaisiing prevailence of non-communiicaible diiseaises (NCDs) such ais hypertensiion, diiaibetes melliitus, aind hypercholesterolemiiai reflects the communiity’s low aiwaireness of regulair heailth check-ups aind heailthy liifestyle praictiices. Thiis communiity serviice prograim aiiimed to enhaince publiic knowledge aind aiwaireness iin preventiing NCDs through sociiail serviice, heailth educaitiion, aind free mediicail exaimiinaitiions orgainiized by Uniiversiitais Biimai Iinternaisiionail MFH iin collaiboraitiion wiith the Iindonesiiain Uniity Pairty (PERIiNDO) iin Gerung Diistriict, West Lombok Regency. The aictiiviity employed ai pairtiiciipaitory aictiion reseairch aipproaich aind wais conducted on October 9, 2025, wiith 154 pairtiiciipaints, predomiinaintly women (72.3%). Exaimiinaitiions iincluded blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, aind uriic aiciid meaisurements. Results showed thait 37.1% of pairtiiciipaints haid elevaited blood glucose, 20.4% haid hiigh blood pressure, 26.3% haid elevaited uriic aiciid, aind 24.6% haid hiigh cholesterol. These fiindiings iindiicaite the need for contiinuous educaitiion aind preventiive-promotiive iinterventiions ait the communiity level. The prograim effectiively iincreaised communiity pairtiiciipaitiion aind aiwaireness of eairly diiseaise detectiion aind demonstraited thait cross-sector collaiboraitiion between educaitiionail iinstiitutiions aind sociio-poliitiicail orgainiizaitiions cain serve ais ai straitegiic model for strengtheniing publiic heailth promotiion aind empowerment.
