Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menjadi salah satu komponen yang perlu dianalisis untuk mengetahui kemampuan peserta didik terhadap satu topik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik pada materi bangun datar, pengukuran panjang dan berat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data melalui tes, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Keseluruhan data tersebut dianalisis dan dideskrispsikan oleh peneliti. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV di salah satu sekolah swasta di Palembang berjumlah 14 orang yang diperoleh melalui purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi bangun datar dan pengukuran pada peserta didik kelas IV di salah satu sekolah swasta tersebut sebesar 75,59% yang artinya berkategori baik. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik kelas IV perlu ditingkatkan terutama pada sesuatu yang sifatnya konkret dengan membiasakan peserta didik memberikan soal-soal berkonteks cerita yang mengarah ke AKM, PISA, dan HOTS kedepannya. AbstractMathematical problem-solving ability is one of the necessary components to analyze as it demonstrates students' ability to comprehend a learning topic. This study aimed to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving skills on flat shapes, measuring length and weight. This descriptive qualitative study used tests, questionnaires, and document analysis to collect the data. All of the data were analyzed and described by the researcher. The participants of the study were 14 fourth grade students in a private school in Palembang selected through purposive sampling technique. The study revealed that the students’ problem-solving abilities on flat shapes and measurements scored 75.59%, which was categorized as “good”. The problem-solving abilities of fourth graders need to be improved, especially on concrete objects by inuring students to story-context questions that promote AKM, PISA, and HOTS in the future.

Abstract

The unsatisfactory results of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) in Indonesia related to reading become the urge for analysing students' reading comprehension. The objective of this research was to analyse the reading comprehension of Grade IV students at one of the private primary schools in Palembang by using a parenting context. The parenting context was implemented in the form of colouring picture stories. Further, this research employed descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used were tests, questionnaires, and documentation. As regards sampling technique, a purposive sampling was applied, based on the class criteria of Grade IV students who enrolled the offline class. It should be noted that this study was conducted after the peak of pandemic crisis but most schools still enrolled online class. Finally, the results of this study demonstrate that students perceive they are most likely to learn and be motivated in learning English through colouring parenting-related pictures.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and compare thematic learning outcomes using the Structured Numbered Heads (SNH) and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) models for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 42 Palembang. The type of research used is a quantitative research experiment. The number of samples in this study amounted to 44 people from 2 classes through the technique of simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire), interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique used is the t-test and questionnaire analysis. The results obtained in this study were no significant comparison between using the SNH and NHT models. It is based on criteria testing the t-test hypothesis obtained t = -1.51 and t = 1.68, then -t or t – 1.68 -1.51 which means accepted and rejected. It means the second model is just as good and thing This is seen from the average result of the class test experiment I and experiment II between classes SNH and NHT difference No significant. No way direct results This shows that between the second model This No there's better and use the second model it can be customized with condition participant educate.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the relevance of ethnomathematics research and the two-dimensional figure shapes in the building of the Grand Mosque of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Jayowikramo Palembang. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Jayowikramo Palembang Grand Mosque is located in Palembang, Indonesia. The method used in this study was qualitative research with an ethnomathematical approach. The research subjects were the foundation's general secretary, supervising secretary, and administrative staff. Researchers used A data collection technique in multiple processes, such as observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used data reduction, display, and drawing inference. As a result, it was shown that each part of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Jayowikramo Palembang Grand Mosque has a mathematical concept of two-dimensional figures and many shapes of two-dimensional figures from the architecture of the Grand Mosque.

Abstract

This topic was chosen because of the need of the school to improve understanding about the implementation of the merdeka curriculum in learning and assessment. This service aims to assist participants in enhancing their understanding of the merdeka curriculum in learning and assessment. The implementation method is conducted online through Zoom using lectures, discussions, and Question Asking sessions. The results of this activity have had a positive impact on the participants' understanding of independent curriculum planning and assessment, as demonstrated by the comparison between their initial understanding using Jamboard media questions and their final understanding using Padlet media reflection questions at the end of the activity.

Abstract

KAHOOT application is a web-based application that is used in learning as an application to test the ability of a group of people. This type of research is a type of qualitative and quantitative research. The purpose of this study is twofold: First, to get an overview of the process and results of student quizzes in High Class Science Learning courses through the use of the KAHOOT application for students of the Second Semester PGSD Study Program Musi Charitas Catholic University. Second, knowing the responses of PGSD Study Program Students in Second Semester Musi Charitas Catholic University who took part in the learning process using the KAHOOT application in the High Class Science Learning course. The sample in this study was the second semester students of the PGSD study program Palembang Musi Charitas Catholic University totaling 26 people. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative-quantitative. There are 2 results obtained in this study, namely: First, the learning process becomes more exciting, interesting, and challenging because it is accompanied by music and time to work on the questions so that students are trained in speed and accuracy in answering questions. The average value of student quizzes using the KAHOOT application is 66.69. Second, students gave a positive response to the use of the KAHOOT application as seen from the results of the questionnaire in which some students expected the completion of the quiz to be carried out using the KAHOOT application in the future

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika merupakan pembelajaran dari sesuatu yang bersifat konkret menuju abstrak. Hal ini sejalan dengan materi bangun datar yang cenderung abstrak. Namun, pada kenyataannya cara pemikiran siswa bersifat konkret. Maka dari itu, untuk menjembataninya diperlukan pendekatan yang mengutamakan pembelajaran yang bersifat konkret yaitu pendekatan PMRI (Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia). Pendekatan ini dilakukan dengan cara mendesain buku ajar bilingual berkonteks kebudayaan lokal melalui serangkaian aktivitas pembelajaran bangun datar menggunakan pendekatan PMRI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian design research yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu preliminary design, the design experiment, dan retrospective analysis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan lintasan belajar menggunakan buku ajar bilingual materi bangun datar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, dan lembar aktivitas siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan lembar validasi dari ahli. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku ajar bilingual ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa tentang bangun datar dari tahap informal ke tahap formal. Learning mathematics is learning deriving from abstract towards concrete similar to two-dimensional figure material. However, based on facts, the students’ thinking process is concrete, which is abstract. Hence, to connect them, it is advisable to prioritize concrete learning. That is through the Indonesia Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach by designing a bilingual Mathematics textbook based on local cultural context. This research is a design research consisting of three steps. There are the preliminary design, the design experiment, and the retrospective analysis. The aim of the research produce a bilingual textbook in which the material focuses on two-dimensional figures. Data collection by using observation sheets, interviews, and students’ worksheets. The data analysis by using a validation sheet from the expert. The research is that the use of bilingual textbooks using the PMRI approach can improve the students’ concept understanding in two-dimensional figures from informal to formal steps.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran proses pembelajaran pecahan menggunakan konteks puding dan bangun datar segitiga sama sisi dan mengetahui pemahaman konsep awal calon guru sekolah dasar tentang pecahan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualititatif-kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah calon guru SD Program Studi PGSD Semester III berjumlah 19 orang tahun akademik 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara terkait dengan pemahaman calon guru SD tentang pecahan dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) gambaran proses pembelajaran pecahan menggunakan konteks puding dan bangun datar segitiga sama sisi menunjukkan perbedaan jawaban antara calon guru SD yang satu dengan yang lain; 2) pemahaman konsep calon guru SD terhadap materi pecahan masih tergolong rendah sebesar 33,82%; 3) hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa calon guru SD terbantu (sebanyak 60%) melalui penggunaan konteks di dalam pembelajaran pecahan.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian yaitu kesulitan dalam mempelajari materi pecahan, dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan konteks daun sebagai solusi permasalan materi pecahan terhadap hasil belajar pecahan siswa SD Kelas IV. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 orang yang terdiri 3 kelas yaitu IV A, IV B, dan IV C. Sampelnya berjumlah 50 orang yang terdiri dari kelas IV A dan IVB masing-masing berjumlah 25 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 42 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap guru terkait dengan penggunaan konteks daun pada materi pecahan, tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan independent sample t-test melalui SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh penggunaan konteks daun terhadap hasil belajar pecahan siswa SD kelas IV. Penggunaan konteks daun sangat membantu siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada topik pecahan. The background of this study is the difficulty in studying fracton material, with purpose about the use of leaves on the learning outcomes of elementary school students' fractional grades IV. This type of research used in this study is research. The population in this study was 76 people consisting of 3 classes namely IV A, IV B, and IV C. The samples were collected 50 people consisting of classes IV A and IVB, each of which could be taken, 25 people. This research was conducted at 42nd SD Negeri Palembang. Data collection techniques using interviews conducted with teachers related to the use of context in fraction material tests to measure student learning outcomes and implementation. Data analysis techniques using homogeneity test, normality test, and independent sample t-test through SPSS. The results of this study are the results of the use of leaf interactions on the learning outcomes of elementary school students' fractional grades IV.

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa yang dibawah standar menunjukkan siswa kurang memahami konsep pada materi bilangan bulat. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi bilangan bulat melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yaitu cerita Si Unyil berbasis ICT, yang terlihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Siklus yang terjadi dalam PTK terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP Xaverius 6 Palembang yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisa data observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan deskriptif kuanlitatif yaitu menganalisa hasil tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa peningkatan pemahaman konsep terlihat dari meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa dari siklus pertama sebesar 57,84 meningkat pada siklus kedua menjadi 71,19. This study aims to increase students' understanding of the concepts of integers through the use of instructional media, namely the ICT-based Si Unyil story, which can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes. This type of research is qualitative research, Classroom Action Research (CAR). The cycle that occurs in CAR consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were the students of class VIIA Xaverius 6 Palembang Junior High, totaling 26 people. Research data were collected using observation sheets, tests, and documentation. Qualitative descriptive is used to analyze observation and documentation data. While quantitative descriptive analysis of test results. The results of this study in the form of an increased understanding of the concept can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle of 57.84 increased in the second cycle to 71.19.
