Abstract

Remaja merupakan masa transisi dari kanak-kanak menuju dewasa. Remaja berusaha membangun identitas diri. Salah satu aspek psikologis yang mempengaruhi pembentukan identitas diri diri remaja adalah self esteem. Kendati berada dalam masa transisi, remaja selalu mengupayakan adanya kesejahteraan psikologis (well being) dalam dirinya melalui kehidupan dan pendidikan. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan membuktikan pertanyaan hipotesis apakah terdapat pengaruh self esteem dan pola pendidikan terhadap well being remaja SMA. Penelitian melibatkan 299 orang responden (163 laki-laki dan 136 perempuan) SMA di tiga sekolah SMA di kota Palembang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan model Skala Likert. Uji reliabilitas dilakukan dengan teknik Alpha Cronbach, yang menghasilkan nilai 0,0876 untuk well being dan 0,942 untuk self esteem. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik Analisis Variat dua jalur (Two way ANOVA). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa self esteem memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap well being dengan F hitung sebesar 53,946 dan nilai signifikasinya 0,000 (< 0,05). Pendidikan juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap well being dengan F hitung sebesar 3,239 dan nilai signifikasinya 0,041 (< 0,05). Self esteem dan pola pendidikan secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh terhadap well being namun tidak signifikan dengan F hitung sebesar 2,080 dan nilai signifikasinya 0,103 (> 0,05).

Abstract

ABSTRACT: QUARTER-LIFE CRISIS DESCRIPTVE ANALYSIS ON COLLEGE GRADUATES OF KATOLIK MUSI CHARITAS UNIVERSITY Quarter-life crisis is a phenomenon of anxiety over the age of 20, which is the transition from late adolescence to adulthood. The research objective was to reveal the quarter-life crisis phenomenon in freshmen graduates. Research participants were 115 graduate students for the 2019 and 2020 periods from the  Catholic University of Musi Charitas. The analysis technique used is statistical description analysis, data collection using a quarter-life crisis scale which is given online using WhatsApp Group. Based on the research results, it was found that 86% of students experienced a quarter-life crisis. Based on the results of interviews, the anxiety experienced by students was related to careers which were considered difficult to find suitable jobs and feelings of being trapped with jobs because of financial needs. This research is a preliminary study to analyze the quarter-life crisis. It is hoped that this research can be continued to look at various other variables that are thought to have contributed to the quarter-life crisis. Keywords: quarter-life crisis, anxiety, college graduates Quarter-life crisis adalah fenomena kecemasan di usia 20 tahun keatas yang merupakan transisi masa remaja akhir menuju masa dewasa muda. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengungkap fenomena quarter-life crisis pada mahasiswa baru lulus. Partisipan penelitian adalah 115 mahasiswa lulusan periode 2019 dan 2020 dari Universitas Katolik Musi Charitas. Teknik Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskripsi statistika, pengumpulan data menggunakan skala quarter-life crisis yang diberikan secara daring menggunakan whatsapp group. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan ada 86% mahasiswa yang mengalami quarter-life crisis. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, kecemasan yang dialami mahasiswa berhubungan dengan karir yang dianggap sulit untuk mencari pekerjaan yang sesuai dan perasaan terjebak dengan pekerjaan karena kebutuhan finansial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal untuk menganalisa quarter-life crisis, harapannya penelitian ini dapat diteruskan untuk melihat berbagai variabel lain yang diduga berkontribusi terhadap quarter-life crisis. Kata kunci : quarterlife-crisis, kecemasan, lulusan perguruan tinggi

Abstract

The present pandemic has changed the global economic life. In the family level it results the decreasing family income. This situation weakens the resilience. Therefore. it is urgent to create new opportunities within the context of family. Family has played major role where the mother’s involvement is significant to respond the change and to creatively look for entrepreneurship opportunity. This community service aims at improving the family resilience through economic empowerment of mother’s role. The activity is divided into two sessions, namely: (1) Practical skills of child independence development; and (2) Practical entrepreneurship skills “how to make peach gum herbal drink”. Survey was conducted at the end of the activity. One-Sample Test was employed to measure means value of perceived-benefit, involvement and loyalty which is accounted for 4 (= Agree) (Sig. > 0.05). Procedures for Bivariate Correlation to measure the participation level was applied. The result shows significant correlation between Session Attractiveness (KTM) and Perceived-benefit (PMM) (0.548/Sig. 0.01), and between Future Intention (KKG) and Recommendation (KR) (0.447/Sig. 0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is first, to provide additional knowledge and experience about the mentoring method that can be used for the Children of the Santa Maria Orphanage. The second objective is to provide additional knowledge, skills and insight into the values of goodness to the Children of the Orphanage St. Maria (SanMa). The activities were conducted in the workshop of the UKMC lecturers team for child counselors who were packed in the form of debriefing for the child's companion. Assistance for foster children is packaged in the form of games, the development of mindset through inspiring film / video, as well as facilitation skills for foster children under the age of 5 years through the activities of drawing and coloring together. The division of questionnaires is done at the end of the activity as feedback on activities that have been done. Positive responses of participants to the activities performed were seen from the interviews and filling questionnaires.

Abstract

Improving the quality of higher education relates to the performance of lecturers in the field of education, research and publications, and community service. Improving the performance of lecturers requires the competence and commitment of the university leaders. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership on the performance of lecturers. The study was conducted at the Musi Charitas Catholic University. The location of this research was conducted at two campuses of Musi Charitas Catholic University namely: Bangau Campus and Burlian Campus. The study was conducted for 8 months (September 2017 s.d April 2018). This study used a combination of exploratory research and explanatory research. Exploratory research aims to explore the phenomena of leadership factors that can improve the performance of tridarma for permanent lecturers at the Musi Charitas Catholic University Palembang. Explanatory research is to explain the relationship between research variables that are the influence of leadership variables on the performance of permanent lecturer of the Catholic University of Musi Palembang. Regression analysis was used to examine the influence of leadership on lecturer performance. The result of this research showed that the influence of leadership on lecturer performance was 52,5% while 47,5% of lecturer's performance variable was influenced by other variables outside of this research, including government policy variable, motivation, and lecturer personality.

Abstract

This topic was chosen because of the need of the school to improve understanding about the implementation of the merdeka curriculum in learning and assessment. This service aims to assist participants in enhancing their understanding of the merdeka curriculum in learning and assessment. The implementation method is conducted online through Zoom using lectures, discussions, and Question Asking sessions. The results of this activity have had a positive impact on the participants' understanding of independent curriculum planning and assessment, as demonstrated by the comparison between their initial understanding using Jamboard media questions and their final understanding using Padlet media reflection questions at the end of the activity.
