Abstract

This study aims to analyze and provide empirical evidence of the effect of competence, work from home and organizational commitment on work motivation as well as the influence of competence, work from home, organizational commitment and motivation on the performance of Surakarta City Social Service employeesThis research was conducted at the Surakarta City Social Service. The population used in this study amounted to 37 State Civil Apparatuses at the Surakarta City Social Service. The sample used in this study was 37 state civil servants using a census sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used is the research instrument test using validity and reliability tests; linearity test; path analysis; hypothesis testing using the t test, F test and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2).The results of the study show that competence has a negative and insignificant effect on work motivation; work from home has a positive and insignificant effect on work motivation; Organizational commitment has a negative and insignificant effect on employee motivation. Competence has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance; work from home has a negative and significant effect on employee performance; organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Surakarta City Social Service employees; the results of the F test on the second equation can be concluded that together commitment, work from home, organizational commitment and motivation have a significant effect on the performance of Surakarta City Social Service employees. The total R2 value of 0.559 means that the performance of social service employees in the city of Surakarta is explained by competence, work from home, organizational commitment of 55.9%, the remaining 44.1% is explained by other variables outside the research model, for example variables of compensation, communication, work environment, culture organization and leadership

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui, menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan kemampuan manajerial terhadap organizational citizenship behavior dan kinerja guru di SMK Negeri Jumantono.Tehnik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Tehnik sampel yaitu sampling jenuh (sensus) berjumlah 30 responden. Analisis data meliputi uji instrumen, uji linearitas, uji hipotesis, dan analisis jalur.Uji t membuktikan kemampuan manajerial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior, namun gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh tidak signifikan; gaya kepemimpinan, kemampuan manajerial dan organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Uji F membuktikan gaya kepemimpinan, kemampuan manajerial, dan organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Uji R2 total sebesar 0,932 artinya bahwa kinerja di jelaskan oleh gaya kepemimpinan, kemampuan manajerial dan organizational citizenship behavior sebesar 93,2 % dan sisanya sebesar 6,8 % di jelaskan faktor lain di luar model. Analisis jalur membuktikan jalur langsung kemampuan manajerial merupakan jalur yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Organizational Citizenship Behavior sebagai variabel intervening tidak efektif sebagai pemediasi.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze empirically and the significance of the influence of the work environment, communication and work discipline on work motivation in improving employee performance at the Sukoharjo Regency Ministry of Religion Office. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The census technique sample was 50 respondents. Data analysis using instrument testing, linearity testing, hypothesis testing, and path analysis. The t test results prove that the work environment and work discipline have a significant effect on work motivation but communication has an insignificant effect; work environment, work discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on performance but communication has an insignificant effect. The results of the F test are that the work environment, communication, work discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on performance. The total R2 result is 0.959, meaning that performance is explained by the work environment, communication, work discipline and work motivation by 95.9% and the remaining 4.1% is explained by other factors outside the model. The results of the path analysis show that the direct work environment path is the most dominant and most effective path for improving employee performance. The use of work motivation as an intervening variable is not effective in this research
