Abstract

AI is a transformative technology that emulates human cognitive abilities and processes large volumes of data to offer efficient solutions across various sectors of life. Although AI significantly enhances efficiency in many areas, it also presents substantial challenges, particularly regarding ethics and user privacy. These challenges are exacerbated by the inadequacy of global regulations, which may lead to potential abuse and privacy violations. This study provides an in-depth review of current AI applications, identifies future needs, and addresses emerging ethical and privacy issues. The research explores the important roles of AI technologies, including multimodal AI, natural language processing, generative AI, and deepfakes. While these technologies have the potential to revolutionize industries such as content creation and digital interactions, they also face significant privacy and ethical challenges, including the risks of deepfake abuse and the need for improved data protection through platforms like PrivAI. The study emphasizes the necessity for stricter regulations and global efforts to ensure ethical AI use and effective privacy protection. By conducting a comprehensive literature review, this research aims to provide a clear perspective on the future direction of AI and propose strategies to overcome barriers in ethical and privacy practices.

Abstract

This research explores sentiment analysis on user reviews of the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang using the Naïve Bayes method. With the rapid growth in user numbers, the reviews received reflect a diverse range of positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. One of the main challenges is the data imbalance among the three sentiments, which can affect the model's accuracy. Data was collected through scraping techniques from the Google Play Store, followed by preprocessing to enhance data quality. The analysis results show that the Naïve Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 75.28%, demonstrating good performance in identifying negative reviews, although there is still room for improvement in the positive and neutral categories. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for game developers in understanding user experiences and improving application features based on sentiment analysis.

Abstract

Time series forecasting plays a vital role in economics, finance, engineering, etc., due to its predictive power based on past data. Knowing the basic principles of time series forecasting enables wiser decisions and future optimization. Despite its importance, some researchers and professionals find it difficult to use time series forecasting techniques effectively, especially with complex data settings and selection of methods for a particular problem. This study attempts to explain the subject of time series forecasting in a comprehensive and simple manner by integrating the main stages, components, preprocessing steps, popular forecasting models, and validation methods to make it easier for beginners in the field of study to understand. It explains the important components of time series data such as trend, seasonality, cyclical components, and irregular components, as well as the importance of data preprocessing steps, proper model selection, and validation to achieve better forecasting accuracy. This study offers useful material for both new and experienced researchers by providing guidance on time series forecasting techniques and approaches that will help in enhancing the value of decision making.

Abstract

Video is a means of delivering very complete information and can be implemented using streaming technology. Networking services for local media exchange are helpful in teaching and learning activities, such as simultaneous video playback. Submission of information in the form of this video can be done by unicast, multicast or Broadcast packet delivery Live video streaming using RTP and RTSP protocol. The test was done through three experiments ie unicast, multicast and broadcast for five times. The output occurring at (RTP) is 4.73 MBit / sec for 5 client, higher than from (RTSP) of 13.799 MBit / sec for 5 client. This test occurs a very high Delay on RTP while RTSP has a low Delay in RTP. Meanwhile, the packet loss that occurs in (RTP) is 124.50% lower than (RTSP) which is 6.06% from 5 clients each. Because RTSP is an applicationlevel protocol for data delivery control that has real time characteristics such as streaming media. While RTP is designed not for streaming but to handle the actual data transmission of data in the form of sound or image or both, especially those based on real time such as streaming media.

Abstract

This study analyzes the projection of the School Life Expectancy (HLS) in 33 districts/cities in North Sumatra Province using the ARIMA method. Historical HLS data from 2019 to 2023 were used to forecast the HLS values for 2024 and 2025. The prediction results show an increase in HLS in most regions, with several districts/cities such as Labuhan Batu, Pematangsiantar City, and Padangsidempuan City experiencing significant growth. However, some regions like Mandailing Natal and Samosir show a more stable trend without significant increases. These findings indicate disparities in access and quality of education across various regions in North Sumatra. Overall, the ARIMA model provides a positive forecast for future HLS improvements, though regional disparities require special attention from relevant authorities to promote equal access to education.
