Abstract

Physical distancing merupakan salah satu langkah pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi virus Corona dengan menganjurkan orang sehat untuk membatasi kunjungan ke tempat ramai dan kontak langsung dengan orang lain. Kini, istilah physical distancing sudah diganti dengan physical distancing oleh pemerintah. Ketika menerapkan physical distancing, seseorang tidak diperkenankan untuk berjabat tangan serta menjaga jarak setidaknya 1 meter saat berinteraksi dengan orang lain, terutama dengan orang yang sedang sakit atau berisiko tinggi menderita COVID-19. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini diusulkan ide pembuatan suatu prototipe alat yang digunakan untuk penerapan physical distancing, untuk masyarakat yang terpaksa untuk keluar rumah karena keperluan mendesak seperi belanja kebutuhan pokok dipusat-pusat perbelanjaan ataupun berada pada suatu pusat keramaian lain seperti ditransportasi umum dan lain sebagainya. Orang-orang seperti ini memiliki resiko tinggi untuk tertular virus jika tidak berhati-hati. Dengan adanya prototipe alat ini harapkan masyarakat lebih memperhatikan dan menerapkan Physical Distancing, dikarenakan alat ini dapat mendeteksi obyek lain yang berdekatan dan memberikan sinyal berupa bunyi, dan didukung dengan sistem IoT (Internet of Things) sehingga mempermudah pengguna dalam memonitoring jarak dan lokasi kapanpun dan dimanapun. Selain itu mitigasi di masa pademi ini sangat penting seperti sosialisasi dan pemberian bantuan edukasi sangatlah penting. Sampai tahap pelaporan kemajuan ini, pengabdian masyarakat telah berjalan sesuai dengan jadwal. Prototipe gelang social distancing telah dibuat dan dilakukan pengujian. Gelang menunjukkan fungsi sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang diinginkan yaitu mampu mendeteksi keberadaan orang di sekita dengan jarak tertentu, mengirimkan posisi pengguna saat ini, dan dapat dilakukan pemantauan pengguna melalui aplikasi android.

Abstract

The purpose of this service program is to introduce coomunity in Magetan Regency to electric vehicle technology. The material presented is basic material covering the meaning, benefits, and components of electric vehicles using developing charging system prototipe. people who visit the Refugia Garden are asked to immediately try the electric vehicle and after completion are asked to carry out the charging process themselves. By observing and trying it directly, it is hoped that the community's main set of electric vehicles will be formed as a way to reduce carbon emissions.The purpose of this service program is to introduce coomunity in Magetan Regency to electric vehicle technology. Abstract

Kepyar Village has great potential to be developed as a tourist village through empowering tourism potential and MSMEs. The service activities carried out aim to increase the knowledge and skills of the Kepyar Village community regarding the implementation of digitalization in developing tourist villages. Service activities consist of developing digitalization of MSMEs and village tourism potential through websites. Digitalization of MSMEs is carried out through digital marketing outreach, assistance in creating a Google My Business account, as well as digital marketing assistance through the TikTok Shop application. The development of a tourist village website is carried out by observing natural potential and MSMEs, creating a website, and socializing the results of the website. Follow-up efforts that can be taken include handing over the website to the village and providing assistance to manage it independently, providing assistance to the community to develop and manage tourism and MSMEs digitally, as well as evaluating the performance and success of the digitalization program that has been attempted to be carried out. development of services and marketing methods that suit people's preferences.

Abstract

Electric vehicles provide a solution for using alternative fuels, namely, electricity. Electric vehicles are used for short distances and intercity travel over long distances, increasing the risk of accidents. Cruise Control is a technology embedded in vehicles to maintain stable speeds; this system will automatically adjust the vehicle's speed when motion changes cause changes in vehicle speed. This study aims to apply lidar sensors to detect distance in the Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) system using the Fuzzy-PID control method. Testing results were obtained at safe distance inputs of 5, 6, and 7 meters with various object distances. All the tests were carried out; the response systems were obtained with an average settling time of 5 seconds and an average overshoot of 1.53%. Therefore, the proposed Fuzzy-PID method works well for controlling Intelligent Cruise Control systems in autonomous electric vehicle prototypes.

Abstract

AI is a transformative technology that emulates human cognitive abilities and processes large volumes of data to offer efficient solutions across various sectors of life. Although AI significantly enhances efficiency in many areas, it also presents substantial challenges, particularly regarding ethics and user privacy. These challenges are exacerbated by the inadequacy of global regulations, which may lead to potential abuse and privacy violations. This study provides an in-depth review of current AI applications, identifies future needs, and addresses emerging ethical and privacy issues. The research explores the important roles of AI technologies, including multimodal AI, natural language processing, generative AI, and deepfakes. While these technologies have the potential to revolutionize industries such as content creation and digital interactions, they also face significant privacy and ethical challenges, including the risks of deepfake abuse and the need for improved data protection through platforms like PrivAI. The study emphasizes the necessity for stricter regulations and global efforts to ensure ethical AI use and effective privacy protection. By conducting a comprehensive literature review, this research aims to provide a clear perspective on the future direction of AI and propose strategies to overcome barriers in ethical and privacy practices.

Abstract

Kepyar Village, located in Purwantoro District, Wonogiri Regency, possesses significant potential for the development of natural tourism due to its lush and pristine environment. However, despite its scenic beauty, the village remains relatively underpromoted, resulting in limited tourist visits, predominantly from nearby areas. This study explores the use of TikTok as a promotional tool to enhance the visibility of Kepyar Village as a tourist destination. By utilizing TikTok for destination branding, the village aims to attract a wider audience, thereby benefiting the local economy and community. The initiative is expected to raise broader public awareness about Kepyar Village’s tourism potential, contributing not only to its reputation as a tourist village but also providing an economic avenue for residents to improve their livelihoods.

Abstract

The capacity strengthening program for electric vehicle conversion workshops at SMK Karya Nugraha Boyolali was implemented through a synergistic collaboration model between universities, vocational schools, and industry. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method to evaluate the effectiveness of the six-month program. The findings revealed a significant improvement in participants’ technical competencies, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores, as well as the successful development of a solar photovoltaic (PV)-based electric vehicle charging station prototype. Beyond technical achievements, the program also strengthened multi-stakeholder collaboration and fostered the creation of a micro-scale clean energy ecosystem within the school environment. These results demonstrate that practice-based vocational training combined with strategic collaboration can make a substantial contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly clean energy (SDG 7), industry innovation (SDG 9), and climate change mitigation (SDG 13).

Abstract

Many vocational schools in Indonesia face limitations in laboratory facilities and practical equipment, which hinders students’ ability to master electric motor installation competencies. Virtual Reality (VR) offers a potential solution by providing safe, interactive, and cost-efficient learning environments that simulate real laboratory conditions. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of a VR-based electric motor control simulation as instructional media for vocational high schools. The novelty of this research lies in integrating pedagogical, ergonomic, and occupational safety aspects into VR learning, which are rarely addressed in previous studies. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using a modified Waterfall model. Three-dimensional assets were created in Blender and implemented in Unreal Engine 5 to build immersive virtual environments. Validation was conducted by two media experts, two material experts, and 73 vocational students using questionnaires, observations, and pre/post-tests. The results showed feasibility scores of 68.53% from media experts and 79.58% from material experts, both categorized as feasible. Reliability analysis confirmed Cronbach’s Alpha values above 0.75, while student trials indicated significant learning improvement. These findings demonstrate that the developed VR simulation is feasible and effective as a pre-practical learning tool. In conclusion, this study contributes theoretically by extending VR pedagogy to safety-oriented vocational training and provides practical implications as an innovative solution for schools with limited resources.

Abstract

This research designs and implements an information system to manage web-based Semester Learning Plan using cloud computing technology, software, computers, and repositories as well as a serverless architecture. So far, the preparation of Semester Learning Plan in Department of Electrical Engineering UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung is still done manually using a template in Microsoft Excel format. This method is considered ineffective because filling in takes a long time and the output is sometimes not uniform, both between lecturers and between courses. Based on this background, the author proposed the idea of creating a web-based Semester Learning Plan management information system. The method used to develop this system is the waterfall method which consists of five stages, namely requirements analysis, system and software design, implementation, testing, operation and maintenance. This information system using cloud computing technology and serverless architecture. The result of this research is a web-based Semester Learning Plan management information system. Through this system, lecturers no longer type manually into doc or xls format, but lecturers can directly input into the system or the web. The output is that the Semester Learning Plan can be downloaded and is in accordance with the applicable format and is in pdf format. The existence of this system can increase the effectiveness of lecturers in managing Semester Learning Plan.

Abstract

The development of Outcome Based Education (OBE) Information System is done as a solution to academic problems related to the achievement of graduate learning for students. In addition, the OBE system is a form of effort to improve academic quality in order to be able to monitor and measure the development of student learning outcomes in a college study program. The Outcome Based Education system includes all grades processing based on Course Learning Outcomes which is related to Graduates Learning Outcomes so that the outcomes of each student can be measured. This information system is developed by the Rapid Application Development method, and uses the Yii2 Framework with the concept of MVC (Model, View, Controller) where system programming is separated based on application components, such as: manipulating data, controllers, and user interfaces. The use of the RAD method and the Yii2 Framework in making applications can be done quickly and in a structured manner making it easier for future developments. The developed system has been successfully tested and applied in the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Civil Engineering Study Program and Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and planned to be implemented in all study programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University. This information system can be applied not only in the engineering faculty of Sebelas Maret University but also outside the university which requires an information system to measure the learning outcomes of graduates.
