Abstract

Kidung Rumeksa Ing Wengi is the work of Sunan Kalijaga which has literary, philosophical, mystical, and practical dimensions. Sunan Kalijaga as a writer and humanist create this poem in Javanese to make it easy to understand, live and practice by the Javanese people. This study aims to review the Kidung Rumeksa Ing Wengi in the hizib perspective composed by the wali of the tarekat in archipelago. This paper is a literature research. The technique of data analysis uses content analysis by sorting and grouping similar data and then analyzing its contents. This study found that the Kidung of Rumeksa Ing Wengi is believed to contain the same fadilah (practical virtues) and is in harmony with the hizibs composed by the founders of the tarekat in archipelago, such as Hizib Nashar by Shaykh Abul Hasan As-Syadzili, Hizib Nawawi by Shaykh Imam An-Nawawi, Hizib Ghazali by Shaykh Imam Al-Ghazali, and several other hizibs which are believed to be able to provide protection from various magical disorders, spirits, evil, and the fulfillment of any other wish. [Kidung Rumeksa Ing Wengi merupakan karya Sunan Kalijaga yang memiliki kandungan sastrawi, filosofis, mistis, dan praktis. Sunan Kalijaga sebagai sastrawan dan budayawan meramu kidung ini dengan bahasa Jawa agar mudah dimengerti, dihayati, dan dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Jawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan meninjau Kidung Rumeksa Ing Wengi dalam prespektif hizib para wali pendiri tarekat di nusantara. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian literatur. Teknik analisa datanya menggunakan content analisis dengan memilah dan mengelompokkan data yang sejenis kemudian menganalisis isinya. Dalam studi ini ditemukan bahwa Kidung Rumeksa Ing Wengi karya Sunan Kalijaga diyakini mengandung fadilah (keutamaan praktis) yang sama dan selaras dengan hizib-hizib yang disusun para wali pendiri tarekat di nusantara, seperti Hizib Nashar karya Syaikh Abul Hasan As-Syadzili, Hizib Nawawi karya Syaikh Imam An-Nawawi, Hizib Ghazali karya Syaikh Imam Al-Ghazali, dan beberapa hizib lainnya yang diyakini dapat memberi penjagaan dari berbagai gangguan sihir, makhluk halus, kejahatan, dan pemenuhan berbagai macam hajat.]

Abstract

The results of preliminary observations indicate that learning still uses Project Based Learning Model Learning. So that the child's ability to speak is still lacking, especially telling the contents, communicating with simple words, expressing ideas, retelling the story according to the flow. The right learning model to stimulate children's speaking ability is Project Based Learning assisted by big books, because project learning is carried out in groups and uses big book media so that it can stimulate children's speaking abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in group learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning model assisted by big books and the Project Based Learning class groups on speaking skills.  The study design uses quasi-experimental research. The subjects in this study were all children of group B in TK Al-Muhajirin Malang in the 2018/2019 academic year even semester which consisted of two classes namely B1 totalling 17 children as an experimental class and B2 totalling 17 children as a control class, using purposive sampling. The prerequisite test used in this study was the construct validation test with 3 validators, namely one lecturer as a learning expert, one lecturer as a media expert, and one school principal as a practitioner to assess the validity level of the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH) and an observation sheet of participants' speaking skills students using big book.

Abstract

The Japanese government's occupation of Indonesia kept the substance of the hidden mission. This paper aims to analyze the hidden policies behind the Japanese colonial policies during the colonization of Indonesia. This writing method is a library study by taking various appropriate literature. The results of this study state that the policy of the Japanese colonialists in various fields when colonizing the Indonesian people was an attempt to win the Greater East Asia War. From the implementation of the policies of the Japanese colonialists, it appears that there are advantages and disadvantages. The implementation of favorable policies then received acceptance from the Indonesian people. Meanwhile, the implementation of detrimental policies then met resistance from the Indonesian people. Some of the beneficial Japanese colonial policies included: Indonesian was widely developed throughout Indonesia; Indonesian people are educated to hold positions; the community has equal opportunities in the field of education, and others. Some of Japan's colonial policies were detrimental, including the Indonesian people being obliged to plant crops that could support the war; exploitation of natural resources that causes the Indonesian people to suffer from poverty, hunger, and misery; forced labor or romusha without pay, and others.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama University Blitar has the motto The Character Building in carrying out its vision, mission, and institutional goals. This qualitative descriptive writing with literature study will try to interpret the motto. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the objectives and problems studied. This paper finds the following points. First, the academic community of Nahdlatul Ulama University Blitar continues to evaluate program activities or policies in realizing its goals, objectives, vision, and mission, as well as trying to increase job satisfaction for structural officials, employees, and employees. Second, the academic community of Nahdlatul Ulama University Blitar continues to improve social competence for their academics with various activities through the tri dharma of higher education which includes education/teaching, research, and community service. Third, the academic community of Nahdlatul Ulama University Blitar continues to improve morality for their academic community, to practice the teachings of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah an-Naahdliyah in carrying out the Tridharma of Higher Education.

Abstract

Storytelling activities are usually carried out by a teacher to early childhood students. There are many benefits of storytelling activities for early childhood students. Therefore, storytelling activities must continue to be developed in early childhood education. This descriptive qualitative research with literature study will discuss the various benefits and objectives of storytelling for early childhood. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the objectives and benefits of the research. This study found the following points. First, storytelling is an activity to tell fictitious stories that don't really happen to instill the best values ​​from the story and take lessons from the worst values ​​from the story. Second, the purpose of storytelling for early childhood is to form good behavior and instill character values ​​in children so that they have balance and cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Third, the benefits of storytelling for early childhood include: training concentration, sharpening memory sharpness, developing language skills, fostering interest in reading, improving critical thinking skills, and bringing closer emotional relationships between teachers and students.

Abstract

There were still many “Ulama Nusantara” who have scientific roles during their period with Syaikhona Kholil Bangkalan or K.H. Hasyim Asyari but were not exposed or studied much. One of those scholars who hasn’t been widely known yet is Kiai Sholeh Kuningan Blitar, who produced The“Risalah Aqaid” book. This qualitative study, which used the character studies method and critical discourse analysis, tries to reintroduce Kiai Sholeh figures and his works. There are two important findings from this study. First, Kiai Sholeh Kuningan (1846-1948 AD) was one of the ulama in Blitar who became a referral person in studying Tauhid. He lived in the same era and related to Kiai Kholil, Kiai Sholeh Darat, K.H. Hasyim Asyari, and some other ulama. Based on the lineage, his father and grandfather were also referral persons in Islam matter, and he was the fifth descendant of Kiai Nur Iman Mlangi Yogyakarta. Second, Kiai Sholeh’s works: “Risalah Aqaid Litauhid” can be considered as the development version of “Kitab Hasyiyah Ummul Barahin” because it was added more explanation from Mbah Sholeh views. This works, which was written in Arabic and Javanese Pegon, is still utilized as discussion material by his descendant and his santri/students until now. Keyword: Tauhid, Akaid, Ummul Barahin.   Terdapat banyak tokoh Ulama Nusantara yang semasa dengan Syaikhona Kholil dan K.H. Hasyim Asyari dan berperan besar dalam keilmuan, tetapi belum dikenal secara luas. Salah satu dari tokoh ini adalah Kiai Sholeh Kuningan Blitar yang mewariskan karya ‘Risalah Aqaid’. Secara kualitatif, kajian yang memanfaatkan metode studi tokoh dan analisis wacana kritis ini berupaya mengenalkan kembali figur sang tokoh berikut karyanya. Dua hal utama yang didapat dari kajian ini adalah: Pertama, Kiai Sholeh Kuningan (1846-1948 M) merupakan salah satu kiai di Blitar yang dijadikan rujukan bidang tauhid pada masanya. Ia semasa dan berhubungan dengan Kiai Kholil, Kiai Sholeh Darat, K.H. Hasyim Asyari, dan beberapa tokoh lainnya. Secara nasab, ayah dan kakeknya juga merupakan rujukan keilmuan pada masanya, selain ia juga keturunan kelima Kiai Nur Iman Mlangi Yogyakarta. Kedua, karya Kiai Sholeh ‘Risalah Aqaid Litauhid’ dari segi isinya dapat dianggap sebagai pengembangan dari kitab Hasyiyah Ummul Barahin yang ditambah pula dengan beberapa penjelasan versi Kiai Sholeh. Kitab yang ditulis dalam bahasa Arab dan Jawa Pegon ini masih terus hidup sebagai bahan kajian musyawarah maupun kajian kitab oleh ahli waris dan generasi murid-muridnya. Kata Kunci: Tauhid, Akaid, Ummul Barahin.

Abstract

Character education must be implemented in early childhood. This is because early childhood has different characteristics from adults. This descriptive qualitative research with a literature study discusses the implementation of character education for early childhood. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the research objectives. This paper produces the following things. First, the characteristics of early childhood so that character education must be implemented because they have several characteristics, namely: unique, egocentric, active and energetic, exploratory and adventurous, relatively spontaneous, easily frustrated, lack of consideration in doing things, short attention span, and passionate. to learn from experience. Second, the values ​​of character education that can be implemented in early childhood include love of God; responsibility, discipline, and independence; honesty; respect and courtesy; affection, care, and cooperation; confidence, creative, hard-working, and never give up; justice and leadership; kind and humble; and tolerance, love of peace, and unity. Third, several things that teachers must do in implementing character education development, among others: treat children according to their characteristics, foster positive understanding, meet basic needs, familiarize children with socializing, patterns of educating teachers and parents must be interrelated, provide support and appreciation, provide age-appropriate facilities, and have a firm, consistent, and responsible attitude.

Abstract

There is variety model of dakwah, one of them is mystical dakwah. This model tends to reach spiritual consciousness (ma’rifat) which is sometimes hard to be understood. However, KH.Abdoel Ma’ruf through Wahidiyah Sufism was successfully implemented such mystical dakwah. This writing is based on a library research. Data was analyzed using content analysis by selecting and classifying similar data, then analyzing its content. Findings of this study portray that the mystical dakwah approach done by KH Abdoel Madjid Ma’roef through Wahidiyah Sufism is easily accepted by community. This is because he uses these six practical concepts of ma’rifat; (1) li Allah;(2) bi Allah; (3) li al-Rasul; (4) bi al-Rasul; (5) yukti kulla dzi haqqin haqqah; (6) taqdim al-aham fa alaham tsuma al-anfa’ fa al-anfa’. The Sufism teaching is usually perceived as complicated thing, but it is packed as a practical formula by KH Abdoel Madjid Ma’roef, so that it can encourage people’s spiritual consciousness toward God and Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Purwa Ayu Mardi Utama (PAMU) is one of the groups that affirm Javanese religious pluralism for the Javanese people. For PAMU, the Javanese religion is not a religion that wants to syncretize other religions that have recently entered the island of Java. Javanese religion is not a religion that wants to establish a new religion. However, the Javanese religion is an ordinance or rule from the ancestors of the island of Java that existed before the religions of other nations, such as Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Christianity, Confucianism, and the like entered the island of Java. This paper aims to examine the following matters, including (1) a brief biography of R.M. Djojopernomo, a founding figure of PAMU; (2) religious pluralism according to PAMU teachings; and (3) the experience of religious pluralism for PAMU at the local level.

Abstract

Ada banyak cara untuk membentuk karakter di dalam perguruan tinggi, salah satunya melalui Aswaja dan Ke-NU-an. Penelitian diskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus dengan metode wawancara mendalam ini bertujuan menganalisis pembentukan karakter melalui Aswaja dan Ke-NU-an di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Blitar. Dalam mata kuliah Aswaja dan Ke-NU-an ditemukan beberapa nilai yang mampu menjadikan mahasiswa dan sivitas akademika memiliki beberapa karakter sebagai berikut. Pertama, cinta pada Tuhan dan alam semesta, misalnya dengan direalisasikan melalui shalawatan, tahlil, manaqib, dan lainnya. Kedua, tanggungjawab, kedisiplinan, dan kemandirian, misalnya tanggungjawaab pada masalah yang berkembang di masyarakat, disiplin dalam beribadah, dan kemandirian dalam berorganisasi. Ketiga, toleransi dan cinta damai terhadap sesama dengan perilaku toleran terhadap kultur lain dan mendamaikan konflik. Keempat, baik dan rendah hati banyak dijelaskan dalam akhlak (tasawuf) salah satunya dengan tradisi mencium tangan orang tua, guru, dan ulama. Kelima, kepemimpinan dan keadilan yang diatur dalam anggaran dasar dan rumah tangga NU. Keenam, kepercayaan terhadap diri, kreatif, kerja keras, dan pantang menyerah, salah satunya dalam tekad pendirian tujuh program studi. Ketujuh, kasih sayang, kepedulian dan kerja sama diwujudkan melalui visi misi UNU. Kedelapan, hormat dan santun diwujudkan dalam sikap kemasyarakatan NU.  Kesembilan, kejujuran merupakan realisasi dari sifat wajib bagi para rasul.
