Abstract

Football in Indonesia can be said to have many fans and the People of Indonesia always look forward to the national team competing. However, the achievements of the Indonesian national team are not comparable to the support provided. This became interesting especially the media that highlighted the achievements of the Indonesian national team, which is often disappointing. Like Indosport and Bolasport.com reported the defeat of the national team against Vietnam. In the news is interesting to analyze framing about the defeat of the Indonesian national team. In the process, Entman framing analysis methods are used that can be used in news analysis through discourse studies. The result of this study is that each media in presenting the news will have its own peculiarities meaning in the same issue, the aspects highlighted will vary. Second, the framing done by Indosport and Bolasport.com both has different points of view in preaching the cause of the Indonesian national team's defeat to Vietnam. With the framing done by the media, the media has a role in the framework of criticism and education through their journalistic activities, and it is better than the role can be maximized by the media.

Abstract

The research entitled "Politeness in Conversation from Fiersa Besari's Garis Waktu Film" is motivated by the occurrence of misunderstandings between speakers and speech partners, causing speech participants to feel offended by the speech received. This is because the speech participants pay less attention to matters relating to the principle of language politeness. The gap between this research and other research is that this research examines compliance and violation based on the six maxims of language politeness according to Leech and analyzes the compliance and violation from the point of view of the speech partner's acceptance as a measure of whether the speech conveyed by the speaker complies with or violates the principle of language politeness based on Yule's 'face' theory. This study aims to obtain a description of the form of compliance and violation of the principle of language politeness in the conversation of the movie Timeline by Fiersa Besari. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The researcher uses the listening method followed by the note-taking technique to collect data, while to analyze the data the researcher uses the commensurate method followed by the Pilah Elemen Penentu (PUP) technique. The result of this research shows 46 data. All data are divided into 31 data of the principle of language politeness compliance which includes maxims (1) praise, (2) generosity, (3) humility, (4) sympathy, and (5) agreement. Then 15 data of violations of the principles of language politeness which include maxims (1) praise and (2) agreement. The results of this study can be applied in class VIII learning with KD 3.16. This research only focuses on the compliance and violation of the principles of language politeness in the conversation of the movie Timeline, further researchers can develop an analysis of the causal factors and language politeness strategies. Keywords: context, form of speech, politeness principles

Abstract

The word formation process is inseparable from the morphological process of affixation. The formation of verb word classes can be derived from verb, noun, adjective, and adverb word classes. This phenomenon causes morphological symptoms of derivation and inflection. Derivation is the process of forming new words that cause changes in lexical identity, while inflection does not change lexical identity. This study aims to obtain a description of the process of forming derivation words and forming inflected words on Kompas.com. Research using qualitative methods. The data and data sources used are online news Kompas.com, the January 2022 edition of the education rubric. The analysis technique used in analyzing the data uses the distribution method with the direct element division technique. The results of this study found words that experienced derivation and inflection with various kinds of forming affixes. Derivative and inflected affixes in Kompas.com consist of prefixes, suffixes, confixes and combinations of affixes. Initial prefixes or affixes are in the form of meN-, di-, ke-, ber-, ter, se-, and peN-; suffixes or final affixes consist of -an, -i, and -kan; confix affixes have forms of ke-an, penN-an, per-an, and beran; as well as combinations of affixes consisting of the forms of memper-/-kan, meN- -i, di-/-i, meN-/-kan, di-/-kan, diper-/-kan, and diper-/-i. The phenomenon of the affix meN- is an affix that forms an active verb, while the affix di- forms a passive verb. Also found ter- and ke-an affixes which are affixes forming anti-passive ergative verbs. Based on the productivity aspect, inflection is more productive than derivation.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the morphophonology of polymorphemic words with allomorphic construction {mәŋ-} and basic morphemes with initial vowel phonemes /a/, /e-ε/, /ә/, /i-I/, /o-ͻ/, /u-U/: (a) unity of energy of nasal consonant /ŋ/ intra-syllable, and (b) segment of nasal consonant /ŋ/ intra-syllable, and (c) morphophonological process. The data collection involved listening and recording techniques followed by note-taking techniques. The recording was created using the Speech Analyzer Praat. This research contains six data: [mәŋtak], [mәŋekͻr], [mәŋәndap], [mәŋikat], [mәŋomba?], [mәŋukur]. Data analysis used a sound          approach with distributional methods and induction methods. The results of this study are (1) the unitary energy of the nasal consonant /ŋ/ in the syllable energy of the two polymorphemic words, for example [mә.ŋe.kͻr], and (2) the segmental sound of the entity nasal consonant /ŋ/ tough is at the onset of the second syllable. polymorphemic words, for example, [mә.ŋәn.dap], (3) between the sound sequences that the consonant-nasal entity /ŋ/ onset of the second syllable polymorphemic words, for example [mә.ŋi.kat], shifts to the first syllable coda so that the first syllable takes the form allomorph {mәŋ-}and basic morpheme {bond has the initial vowel phoneme /i/.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan morfofonologi kata polimorfemik berkonstruksi alomorf {mәŋ-} dan morfem dasar berfonem awal vokal /a/, /e-ε/, /ә/, /i-I/, /o-ͻ/, /u-U/ pada aspek: (a) kesatuan energi konsonan nasal /ŋ/ intrasilabel, dan (b) segmen bunyi konsonan nasal /ŋ/ di intrasilabel, serta (c) proses morfofonologinya. Penyediaan data menggunakan metode simak dan teknik rekam yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Perekaman dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat speech analyzer Praat. Penelitian ini terdapat enam kelompok data: [mәŋambil], [mәŋekͻr], [mәŋәndap], [mәŋikat], [mәŋomba?], [mәŋukur].  Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan akustik (getaran bunyi) dengan metode agih dan metode induksi. Hasil penelitian ini ialah (1) kesatuan energi dibuktikan entitas konsonan nasal /ŋ/ dalam kesatuan energi silabel kedua kata polimorfemik, misalnya [mә.ŋe.kͻr], dan (2) bunyi segmental dibuktikan entitas konsonan nasal /ŋ/ tegar berada pada onset silabel kedua kata polimorfemik, misalnya [mә.ŋәn.dap], (3) antarrangkaian bunyi bahwa entitas konsonan-nasal /ŋ/ onset silabel kedua kata polimorfemik, misalnya [mә.ŋi.kat], bergeser ke koda silabel kesatu sehingga silabel kesatu berwujud alomorf {mәŋ-} dan morfem dasar {ikat} berfonem awal vokal /i/.

Abstract

Berdasar hasil wawancara, ditemukan banyak pelaku UMKM di desa Trasan yang tidak dapat berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Inggris secara lancar. Salah satu kesulitan dalam interaksi dengan konsumen muncul ketika pelaku UMKM harus menjelaskan produk, baik secara langsung ketika konsumen mancanegara berkunjung maupun melalui telepon, e-mail, atau moda perpesanan daring lain. Menanggapi masalah tersebut, pada tahun 2023, diadakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan mengusulkan kegiatan untuk mendesain sebuah katalog dwibahasa, memberikan pelatihan pendeskripsian produk, pelatihan fotografi, serta pemasaran produk digital yang akan ditindaklanjuti dengan pembuatan katalog digital dwibahasa produk UMKM di Desa Trasan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap, yakni analisis lapangan, penyusunan deskripsi katalog produk dan pembelajaran, kemudian pendampingan intensif kepada para pelaku UMKM. Untuk mendesain katalog dwibahasa, tim pengabdian Universitas Tidar melakukan wawancara dengan pelaku usaha rotan di Desa Trasan untuk mengumpulkan data dan meminta dokumentasi produk. Setelah mendapatkan informasi mengenai produk dan foto-foto yang dibutuhkan, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan mendesain katalog, lalu menyusun deskripsi produk sesuai dengan informasi yang diberikan oleh para pelaku UMKM. Hasilnya, mereka merasa sangat terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan pembuatan katalog dwibahasa dan workshop pembuatan katalog dwibahasa yang memuat kiat-kiat menyusun kalimat deskripsi produk yang lebih “menjual.

Abstract

Keragaman peserta didik di kelas inklusif merupakan keniscayaan. Keragaman dapat terjadi karena berbagai sebab, salah satunya keragaman karena siswa memiliki kebutuhan khusus. Pada konteks ini harus dilakukan proses adaptasi kurikulumdi MI Al Islam Krasak Salam Kabupaten Magelang agar dapat memenuhi keragaman peserta didik. Hasil pengabdian ini menawarkan rujukan bagi guru dalam melakukan proses adaptasi kurikulum di kelas inklusif. Kerangka kerja adaptasi kurikulum didasarkan pada tiga prinsip pendidikan inklusif yaitu kehadiran, partisipasi dan prestasi. Ketiganya harus secara seimbang menjadi landasan kerja adaptasi kurikulum. Pelaksanaan adaptasi kurikulum dilakukan pada tiga dimensi yaitu kurikuler, instruksional dan lingkungan pembelajaran. Pada bagian akhir dijelaskan secara singkat strategi pengembangan rencana pembelajaran dari kurikulum yang diadaptasi. Luaran pengabdian tahun pertama yang sudah terlaksana meliputi (1) Hasil pemetaan anak berkebutuhan khusus, (3) Kurikulum Sekolah Pendidikan Inklusi, (3) Rencana Tahunan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Inklusi. Tahun kedua rencana hasil pengabdian meliputi; Rapor dapodik dan raport narasi; Laporan Layanan Individual (RPP), Perangkat Penilaian, dan  Praktik pembelajaran di kelas yang tergabung dalam dokumen kurikulum rintisan sekolah inklusi. Hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan profesional bagi guru-guru di kelas inklusif.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menemutunjukkan makna kultural batik soreng Kabupaten Magelang sebagai preservasi warisan budaya. Pengabdian narrative review ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan, bahwa makna kultural batik soreng terletak pada corak warna terang dan latar penari soreng. Leksikon batik soreng Kabupaten Magelang terdapat pada ikon gambar waluh, Batu kali, kera ekor panjang, rmpun bambu, bebatuan, latar kopi pecah, titik telu, dan penari soreng menginjak batu dengan latar Mandala Borobudur. Sedang usaha preservasi dengan cara pemasangan motif batik melalui papan reklame atau media massa online, seragam sekolah dan kantor, serta souvenir di tempat wisata

Abstract

The aim of this research is to conduct a thorough bibliometric literature review of the complex and multifaceted relationships between language, ethnicity, and learning, using sophisticated computational techniques to map and analyze academic scholarship across diverse interdisciplinary domains. Using modern data mining and network analysis approaches, the researchers deconstructed established educational research paradigms by carefully examining publication trends, citation networks, and topic clusters. The complete investigation indicated that linguistic and ethnic variety are not educational impediments, but rather rich reservoirs of cultural information and cognitive flexibility, calling into question traditional deficit-oriented theories of academic comprehension. The findings revealed that bilingual and multilingual learners had significantly improved cognitive capacities, such as superior executive functioning, metacognitive skills, and cross-cultural problem-solving abilities, which go beyond typical monolingual learning frameworks. The study revealed significant regional discrepancies in knowledge production, with academic work mostly centered in North American and European institutional environments, emphasizing systemic imbalances in global knowledge formation. By repositioning linguistic and cultural diversity as fundamental intellectual strengths rather than limitations, the study offers transformative insights into developing more inclusive, equitable, and dynamic educational strategies capable of effectively responding to the complexities of an increasingly interconnected global academic and technological landscape. Abstract

This study is prompted by the advancement of corpus-based methods in the realm of grammar education. The primary objective of this research is to assess the requirements and the perceived significance of integrating corpus linguistics into the methodologies of grammar instruction. Employing an experimental research approach, the study involves participants who are undergraduate students majoring in Indonesian Language and Literature Education as well as English Language Education. The research utilizes the Leipzig Indonesian Mix_2013 and English-corpus.org corpora. The outcomes of this investigation offer an insight into the teaching of grammar through the incorporation of corpora, drawing comparisons based on the outcomes prior to the experimental sessions. The findings from this study highlight that the implementation of corpus linguistics within grammar learning and teaching methodologies yields a favorable impact on students' comprehension of grammar rules. The analysis of needs underscores students' recognition of the importance of integrating corpus elements into grammar education, particularly given the diverse and evolving language contexts prevalent in daily life. This perception is further reinforced by the results of the experimental phase, which demonstrate a substantial enhancement in grammar comprehension within the group exposed to corpus-based instruction. The deeper understanding gained regarding the real-world application of grammar in communicative scenarios equips students with enhanced readiness to apply grammatical concepts effectively in practical contexts. In conclusion, this research underscores the pivotal role of corpus linguistics in augmenting the efficacy of grammar education. The study provides valuable insights into the potential advantages associated with the integration of corpus-driven methodologies into language instruction, considering the dynamic nature of language usage in contemporary society. Furthermore, the outcomes emphasize the significance of aligning teaching practices with the evolving landscape of language usage.

Abstract

This class action research skill is very suitable to be developed in this new normal era because there are so many classroom problems that occur during online and hybrid learning. This community service program aims to help teachers improve the skills of preparing classroom action research proposals. The implementation method used in this PKM consists of interactive discussions, and practices. The results of this community service program include: improving the skills of teachers in compiling class action research proposals, scientific journal publications, mass media publications, draft class action research proposals, and IPR posters.
