Abstract

AbstractIn the development of culture always requires an object to show progress. Various aspects include one of the elements of cultural glocalization. Technology has facilitated people in various parts of the world to exchange information about their respective cultures at every second of human life. Modern, such as music, clothing, singing, educational patterns and patterns of social life. However, it turns out that not all parties can share information equally. Developed countries are more dominant in conveying information about their culture and interests to developing countries. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the Form of Ideology in Nusantara Folk Fiction Issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2016. This study uses a qualitative interpretive approach with a parallel reading approach. The method is used to describe and interpret ideological representations in the 2016 Folk Archipelago Fiction published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2016. Data collection used in research is documentation technique, reading technique, and note taking technique. In this study produced two discussions, the form of ideology that can be used as an educational tool, and the ideological structure contained in the folklore of the archipelago. The forms contained are, among others, nationalist ideology and social ideology. In this connection, the two ideologies provide a foothold in this story. Moreover, nationalist values ​​and social values ​​that make a difference from other literary works. While for the ideological structure of this archipelago folklore, it is found that the ideological structure includes, Nationalists that lead to identity, and social which leads to social democracy. Abstract

In applying the principles of learning implementation in the perspective of literature appreciation, the principles in literaturelearning have a purpose as a means of increasing sensitivity to love for the culture of the Indonesian nation. In addition, literature learning can provide spiritual satisfaction and understanding in language. Literaturelearning is not merely a lesson of history, flow, and literature theory but the implementation of all these elements. Broadly speaking, the focus in literature learning can be seen through two aspects. This will give an idea as to what forms of literature appreciation learning in the present. This focus can be seen in general and implementation at the curriculum level in each school. In general, the purpose of learning in the perspective of literature aims for students to gain new experiences in enjoying a literature work and obtain knowledge in a literature work. Literaturework is an embodiment of the essence of a reality that is inscribed in a work. This paper explores the correlation between the relationship of  literature teaching in class X curriculum textbook 2013 to the 21st century: perspective of moody literature teaching. In addition, there is a readiness in covering a weakness in every implementation of literature and language learning. In the implementation in the world of education, especially language and literature learning in the current era of globalization, the need for signs or rules to apply the appropriate rules, this aims as a concern for every teacher

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the relevance of writing learning materials in the grade 5 textbooks of elementary schools and the basic competencies of the 2013 Curriculum. This research is library research (library research), which is research based on searching the literature related to the issues to be discussed. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The results of the data analysis show that between the writing learning material in the 5th grade textbooks of elementary schools and the basic competencies of the 2013 Curriculum, there is a very significant relevance. This conclusion is based on the results of data analysis on two research problems which show the following results: (1) There is a very significant relevance between writing learning materials in grade 5 textbooks of elementary schools and basic competencies of knowledge in the 2013 curriculum; (2) There is a very significant relevance between writing learning materials in grade 5 textbooks of elementary schools and basic competency skills in the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

There are various ways that can be taken to improve the vocabulary of EFL students. The use of media, as well as teaching methods. This research focuses on developing Comic Strips as a supporting medium for vocabulary teaching. Based on the sections from Comic Strips, students can choose what vocabulary they want to use to complete the available bubbles so that they form sentences and in the end a coherent story. Lecturers can also use Comic Strips to facilitate students in developing ideas in their writings by asking some stimulating questions. In line with the usefulness of Comic Strips to improve the vocabulary of EFL students, the researchers developed comic strip media with certain themes to be used in vocabulary courses for 7 meetings. The researcher believes that the development of Comic Strips media can be effective because it can make students enjoy the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the habituation stage of the school literacy movement, the inhibiting factors, supporting factors, the positive impact of the habituation stage of the school literacy movement in increasing students' reading interest in grade 4A SDN Kalisian VII Surabaya. This type of research is qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or data verification. The results of the research at SDN Kaliasin VII Surabaya, namely the implementation of the habituation stage of the school literacy movement is carried out every day before learning begins. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of literacy activities at the habituation stage include: (1) Limitations on updating reading books, (2) students are not yet fluent in reading, (3) There is no reading area in the school environment. The supporting factors for the implementation of literacy activities at the habituation stage are there is a literacy team, the role of the teacher or homeroom teacher, there is a display board as a place for student appreciation, the library and classrooms are equipped with technology and a class reading corner as well as a library of various sources of reading books. The positive impacts of implementing literacy activities at the habituation stage include: (1) making students dare to appear in front of the class, (2) increasing visits to the library and using the library as a place to do school work, (3) student achievement in participating in competitions based on literacy and outside literacy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Canva application on students' interest in learning Indonesian in class V at SDN Warugunung 1 Surabaya. The research method used is experimental research. Data collection by questionnaire method and documentation. The research instrument is a test sheet. The research sample was selected by purposive sampling, namely the VA class. The results showed that the average interest in learning not using Canva learning media was included in the low interest category, the average interest of students using Canva learning media was in the high category, and the comparison of the two resulted in quite significant differences, indicating that there was an effect of learning media using the Canva application on subjects. Indonesian towards increasing students' interest in learning at SDN Warugunung 1 Surabaya. Data processing is used to test the validity, reliability, normality test, homogeneity and hypothesis with the help of SPSS 24. Researchers believe that the developed learning media can be a solution in the development of interactive learning media that trains student creativity and student interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara frekuensi membaca dan hasil belajar mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia Siswa kelas VB SDN Kaliasin VII Surabaya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Siswa kelas VB yang berjumlah 24 Siswa. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif metode korelasi. Analisis data, yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif statistik dan analisis uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi membaca berada pada kategori sedang sebanyak 15 siswa dengan nilai 50 – 70 terhitung persentasenya sebesar 62%, dan 5 siswa pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai > 70, terhitung persentasenya sebesar 21 %. Hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia berada pada kategori sedang sebanyak 16 siswa dengan nilai 57 – 82, terhitung persentase sebanyak 67%, dan 3 siswa pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai > 82 terhitung persentase sebesar 12%. Frekuensi membaca berkorelasi positif yang ditunjukkan dengan uji korelasi Pearson dengan nilai korelasi 0,705. Hasil signifikansi 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi membaca ada hubungan dengan hasil belajar mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia.
