Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulumCambridge, menganalisis faktor pendukung dan mendeskripsikan tahap-tahap kurikulumtersebut di Sekolah Dasar Khadijah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposivesampling, Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bagiankurikulum, dan guru di SD Khadijah Surabaya. Penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulandata melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian di simpulkan bahwaimplementasi kurikulum Cambridge di Sekolah Dasar Khadijah Surabaya meliputi tigatahap yaitu a) perencanaan, b) pelaksanaan dan c) evaluasi. Dalam tahap perencanaanterlihat mulai dari persiapan framework Cambridge dan RPP (Rencana PelaksanaanPembelajaran). Kurikulum Cambridge dilaksanakan dengan baik dalam kegiatanpembelajaran yang di dukung dari media pembelajaran, textbook dan berjalan dengan activelearning. Penerapan kurikulum ini melalui pembelajaran untuk pendukungnya danekstrakurikuler untuk pendalamannya. Kurikulum Cambridge di aplikasikan dari tiga matapelajaran yaitu English, Science, dan Mathematics. Tahap evaluasi dalam implementasikurikulum Cambridge di Sekolah Dasar Khadijah Surabaya telah dievaluasi dengan baikmelalui check progression test atau (CPT) untuk siswa kelas I hingga kelas V dancheckpoint untuk siswa kelas VI dan ujian ini dilakukan sekali setahun. Hasil ujian ini tidakada standar kelulusan bagi siswa hanya untuk pemetaan kemampuan belajar siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks narasi berdasarkan teks wawancara melalui pendekatan PAIKEM. Tujuan umum tersebut diperinci ke dalam beberapa tujuan khusus: (1) mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, (2) mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa, (3) mendeskripsikan respons siswa, dan (4) mendeskripsikan kompetensi siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi berdasarkan teks wawancara melalui pendekatan PAIKEM. Penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah (1) aktivitas guru, (2) aktivitas siswa, (3) respons siswa, dan (4) kompetensi siswa  dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi berdasarkan teks wawancara melalui pendekatan PAIKEM. Data tersebut bersumber dari guru dan siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 3 Sugio, Lamongan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, dan angket dengan instrumen lembar observasi guru dan siswa, angket, dan soal tes hasil belajar. Data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui pendekatan PAIKEM dapat menjadikan siswa memiliki keterampilan menulis teks narasi berdasarkan teks wawancara dengan kualifikasi baik. Simpulan ini dirumuskan berdasarkan hasil analisis data mengenai aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, respons siswa, dan kompetensi siswa yang semuanya mencapai persentase 81% ke atas.

Abstract

Menurunnya kesadaran untuk menghayati dan menjiwai nila-nilai Pancasila akan menyebabkan terjadinya degradasi karakter bangsa. Jika terus dibiarkan akan berdampak pada moral dan akhlak generasi muda yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui keteladaan dan pembiasaan. Penelitian didasarkan pada proses studi kepustakaan atau library research. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif-kritis yakni dengan lebih menekankan pada kemampuan analisis dan penelaahan terhadap sumber-sumber kepustakaan terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui keteladanan (role model) dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan sisi religius siswa, memberikan bimbingan dan melatih ketaatan siswa untuk mematuhi tata tertib, membangkitkan semangat kebangsaan dan rasa cinta tanah air, menanamkan sikap demokratis pada siswa, mengajarkan peduli sosial dan tidak apatis. Implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui pembiasaan (habituation) dilakukan dengan membiasakan siswa memiliki sikap toleransi beragama, saling mencintai  dan menghargai sesama manusia, tidak menjadikan perbedaan sebagai alasan untuk terpecah belah, terbiasa mengambil keputusan secara musyawarah, berteman dengan siapa saja dan memiliki solidaritas yang tinggiCharacter Education Based on Pancasila Values through Modeling and Habit in Elementary Schools. Decreased awareness to internalize and inspire the values of Pancasila will lead to the degradation of the nation's character. If left unchecked will have an impact on the morale and attitudes of the younger generation that are not in accordance with the values of Pancasila. This study aims to determine the implementation of character education based on Pancasila values through role models and habituation. This research is based on the library research process. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative-critical, namely by emphasizing the ability of analysis and analysis of selected library sources. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila values through role models was done by improving the religious side of students, providing guidance and training students' obedience to obey the rules, arouse the national spirit and love of the motherland, instilling democratic attitudes in students, teaching social care and not apathetic. Whereas the implementation of the values of Pancasila through habituation is done by accustoming students to having an attitude of religious tolerance, mutual love and respect for fellow human beings, not making a difference as an excuse to be divided, accustomed to making deliberative decisions, making friends with anyone and having solidarity.

Abstract

This study aimed to re-analyze the effect of scramble learning model to improve students’ learning outcomes at elementary schools. Scramble learning model refers to a game of arranging the scrambled words and letters in order to form a certain meaningful word. Scramble learning can train students to be creative to arrange random words and sentences in order. This study utilized a meta-analysis method. At the first stage, the researcher formulated the problem, then, sought the existing and relevant research to be analyzed. The technique of data collection in this study was a non-test, namely the documentary analysis method, by searching for electronic journals on Google Scholar with the criteria of comparative journals or articles. There were 11 articles that fulfilled the criteria for this research. The results of the journal analysis indicated that scramble learning model could improve the students' cognitive learning outcomes. This was proved by the average difference of the results of the pre-test and post-test which was 24.9. To strengthen the results, these data were tested by IBM SPSS statistical program 16 for windows with a paired sample T-test. Based on the result of this test, it was revealed that H1 was accepted which implied that the scramble learning model had an effect on students’ learning outcomes with the value of sig 0.00 <0.05.

Abstract

This research is about the effect of teacher teaching style on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students of Khadijah Surabaya Elementary School. The purpose of this researh was to determine the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers, to determine the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students, and to determine the effect of the teacher's teaching style on the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students. The research method used was quantitative research, the type of correlational research. The total population in this study was 123 students with a total sample of 95 students. Data collection techniques used was a questionnaire with the number of questions 23 variable X questions and 15 valid variable Y questions with a reliable value of 0.893 (variable X) and 0.783 (variable Y). Data analysis techniques used was the Pearson product moment test. The results of this study indicated that: 1) the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers was classical 31.58%, technologically 38.95%, personalization 7.37%, and interactional 22.1%, 2) visual-spatial intelligence of 72 fourth grade students (75.8%) were in the high category, 22 students (23.2%) were in the medium category, and 1 student (1.1%) was in the low category, 3) The teaching style of the teacher had moderate influence on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students with a correlation coefficient of 0.521 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.01. This research hopes to shed some light for researchers, teachers, and schools to apply teaching styles that are in accordance with students' visual-spatial intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to describe the communication between teachers and parents in building the character of students at SDIT Ghilmani Ketintang Surabaya and to determine the impact of such communication. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, then data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data condensation, data display, and data verification which were validated by using the credibility test and the dependability test. The results of this study indicated that the picture of teacher and parent communication in building the character of students was as follows: 1) class groups created through social media such as whatsapp and so on, 2) communication through anecdot records or anecdotal notes used to record student behavior every day at school, the note was submitted to the parents of students when receiving report cards, 3) Communication through information books, and independent student communication, 4) home visit activities, namely teacher visited to student homes, to match the development of student behavior at school , 5) perenting activities, namely activities to bring in psychologists to provide direction to parents on how to properly educate children. The impacts of communication between teachers and parents were: 1) good cooperation between teachers and parents in building the character of students at home and at school, 2) there was a change in student character, because every day is monitored through information books, and independent student communication , 3) to increase parental knowledge on how to educate children well through parenting activities, 4) student achievement increased because all student activities were monitored through anecdote record . Recommendations from this study were 1) the results of this study can be used by schools, teachers, parents to carry out communication so as to improve the character of students at school and at home by intensifying their communication so that the character of students is built in accordance with the expectations and goals of teachers and parents, 2) other researchers can use as a reference for conducting similar research related to teacher and parent communication in building student character.

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the implementation of process skills in the learning process at several Elementary Schools in Wringinanom-Gresik. The method in this study was descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected through a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale with 4 choices, namely SA (Strongly Agree), A (Agree), D (Disagree), SD (Strongly Disagree). The respondents in this study were 21 teachers from several elementary schools. Based on the results obtained fromt the respondents, it was found that 81% of the teachers agreed and applied the process skills while 18% of the respondents disagreed. This was because not all learning models were applicable by using process skills. This study concluded that the majority of teachers at Elementary Schools in Wringinanom - Gresik implemented and agreed the learning process with process skills. In addition, it was also found that the teachers’ knowledge about the process skills was good.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen pembelajaran daring bagi guru di tengah pandemi covid 19 di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Bojonegoro. Metode pelaksanaan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan ini melalui tiga kegiatan: pra kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan pasca kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan masyarakat ini adalah berupa jasa berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan dan artikel pengabdian masyarakat yang dipulikasikan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen pembelajaran berbasis daring bagi guru di tengah pandemi covid 19 di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Bojonegoro berjalan dengan sukses karena dukungan dari berbagai pihak yang terlibat dengan pengabdian mansyaraat. Guru sangat antusias dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan secara daring, guru juga sudah memahami caramerencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi siswa secara daring. Rencana tindak lanjut pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai saran adalah mengadakan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi digital bagi guru sekolah dasar. Kata kunci: manajemen; pembelajaran; daring; covid 19 ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service is to give training and mentoring online learning management for teachers in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Bojonegoro. The method of this community service program through training and mentoring is through three activities are: Pre-activity, implementation of activities, and post-activity. The result of this community activity is in the form of services in the form of  training and mentoring, published articles of community service. The results of the community service carried out show that online-based learning management training and assistance activities for teachers in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Bojonegoro are running successfully because of the support of various parties involved with community service. The teacher is very enthusiastic about online training and mentoring activities, the teacher also understands how to plan, implement and evaluate students online. The follow-up plan for implementing community service as a suggestion is to hold training and assistance in implementing online learning using digital applications for elementary school teachers. Keywords: learning; management; online; covid 19

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan umum kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penyuntingan kalimat pada artikel ilmiah bagi mahasiswa PGSD semester akhir. Tujuan khususnya adalah mendeskripsikan   (1) urgensi dilaksanakannya pelatihan dan pendampingan penyuntingan kalimat, (2) hambatan-hambatan yang ditemukan, dan (3) solusi terhadap hambatan pelatihan dan pendampingan penyuntingan. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah presentasi, penugasan, dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini menunjukkan hasil yang gemilang. Peserta pelatihan mampu menyunting kalimat dengan baik. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan penyuntingan kalimat sangatlah urgen untuk dilaksanakan. Hambatan yang ditemukan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan daring dan kurangnya motivasi peserta. Solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan adalah pendampingan individual dan prioritas aspek penyuntingan. Kata kunci: urgensi; hambatan; solusi; pelatihan dan pendampingan; penyuntingan kalimat. ABSTRACTThe general purpose of this service activity is provide training and mentoring in editing sentences in scientific articles for final semester PGSD students. The specific objectives are to describe (1) the urgency of implementing training and mentoring in sentence editing, (2) the obstaclas found, and (3) solutions to the obstacles to training and mentoring in editing. The methods applied in this service are presentations, assignments, and mentoring. These training and mentoring activities have shown brilliant result. The trainees are able to edit sentences well. In addition, the result of the activity show that sentence editing training and assistance is very urgent to be carried out. The obstacles found were online training and mentoring are the lack of motivation of participants. The solution to overcome obstacles is individual mentoring and priority of editing aspects. Keywords: urgency; obstacles; solutions; training and mentoring; sentence editing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di kelas 4 SD. Kyai Hasyim Surabaya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana penelitian ini memerlukan data berupa informasi secara deskriptif dengan teori yang dibangun berdasarkan data yang diperoleh. Jenis penelitian ini dimasukkan dalam kategori kualitatif dari aspek data dan analisisnya. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sasaran dalan penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas 4A dan 4B serta guru selain guru kelas yang mengajar dikelas 4 SD Kyai Hasyim Surabaya. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah peneliti ingin memberikan gambaran terkait persepsi guru dalam pembelajaran daring sehingga dari persepsi tersebut menghasilkan sesuatu yang bermanfaat. Metode yang digunakan seperti penelitian pada umumnya yaitu menggunakan 3 tahapan diantaranya observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan persepsi guru SD. Kyai Hasyim Surabaya menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring yang telah dilaksanakan berjalan baik tetapi tidak efektif apabila dilaksanakan terus menerus dikarenakan kendala yang terus menerus berulang
