Abstract

In today's digital era, teaching staff have many choices of interactive learning media that can support the learning process. One application that can help teachers realize effective communication between students and teachers is google classroom. The Google Classroom is a mixed learning platform that is intended for every educational scope that is intended to find a way out of the difficulties in making, sharing and classifying each paperless assignment. For this reason, there is a need for knowledge and skills about how effective communication can be done through innovative learning media based on Blended Learning (Google Classroom), so that the quality of teaching can be better. Therefore, dedication activities are carried out in MAN 2 Model on "Effective Communication Training through Blended-Learning (Google Classroom) Innovative Learning Media for Teachers in MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru". The material presented included effective communication, innovative learning media based on Blended Learning, and the use of google classroom as a medium to support innovative and communicative learning

Abstract

The increasing cases of Covid-19 have an impact on every aspect including in terms of the economy, health and other sectors including the organization's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The problem that arises is how public relations or public relations is able to carry out CSR in the midst of a pandemic so that people are able to feel the positive benefits of the organization's presence. The PKM activity started with the initiation of the head of the service who in charge of Crisis Issue Management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) courses. The goal is to carry out the tri dharma of higher education in the fields of teaching and service. With this PKM, students not only get theory in lectures but can also interact with PR practitioners, increase their knowledge of PR and get direct experience of public relations work in the field. PKM activities were carried out online through the zoom meeting application on Sunday, December 19, 2021, attended by 130 participants. The implementation method is in the form of lectures and discussions with two resource persons from The National University of Malaysia and PR practitioner PT. Riau Pulp and Paper. The results of the PKM activity showed that participants were able to interact with the presenters, gain direct knowledge and experience about PR work, participants asked questions, discussed and answered quizzes given by the two resource persons. The output of service activities is the publication of two news articles in online mass media, namely bingkairiau.com and riaumag.com Keywords: CSR, Public Relations

Abstract

Kelurahan Sungaisibam terletak di Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau, merupakan salah satukelurahan yang mengandalkan hasil pertanian berupa ubi kayu. Kawasan ini terkenal denganhasil ubi kayu dan terdapat beberapa kelompok tani didalamnya, salah satunya adalahkelompok tani beringin makmur. Tujuan dibuatnya pengabdian berawal dari pelaksanaanKuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Muhammadiyah. Ketua kelompok tani beringinmakmur meminta bantuan menyelesaikan persoalan terkait dengan banyaknya bahan bakuubi kayu namun terkendala dari segi pengolahan, proses pengeringan dan pemasaran hinggapada akhirnya pengabdi melahirkan sebuah ide untuk membuat sebuah teknologi yangdiperuntukkan bagi petani ubi kayu. Permasalahan terbesarnya yaitu kelompok tani BeringinMakmur masih mengandalkan cahaya matahari untuk proses pengeringan ubi yang sudah dicincang. Tentunya ini memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama apalagi jika cuaca kurangmendukung dalam proses pengeringan maka dapat menimbulkan kerugian yang besar sepertimunculnya jamur pada permukaan ubi kayu. Maka dari itu tim pengabdi memberikan 1 unitteknologi tepat guna berupa alat pengering ubi kayu yang diperuntukkan untuk membuatgaplek/pakan ternak. Hal tersebut sangat membantu kelompok tani karena dari hasilobservasi dan wawancara tim pengabdi sebelumnya, kelompok tani mengaku hanyamengandalkan terik matahari dan proses pengeringan bisa memakan waktu 3-7 hari. Pihakyang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini yaitu mitra, ketua pengabdian, anggota pengabdian,dosen teknik mesin, dosen komunikasi digital dan empat orang mahasiswa. Kegiatanpengabdian telah dilakukan dari bulan Mei-Desember 2021 meliputi survey lokasi,kerjasama dengan mitra, workshop digital marketing, pengenalan, pendampingan danpemberian 1 unit teknologi dehidrator, publikasi kegiatan pengabdian di media online sertamengunggah video kegiatan pengabdian pada channel youtube.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendiseminasikan teknologi dehydrator betel nutmachine berbahan bakar biomassa kepada kelompok tani pinang di Desa Tanjung Alai,Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Kegiatan pengabdian inidilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 2 kelompok tani buah pinang yang ada di Desa Tanjung Alai,Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar yaitu kelompok tani buah pinang Maju Jaya dan BerkahBersama. Permasalahan mendasar yang dihadapi kelompok tani ini adalah lambatnya prosespengeringan buah pinang yang sudah di panen. Berdasarkan data yang di himpun, lamapengeringan buah pinang berkisar 2 hingga 4 hari. Kondisi ini berdampak terhadap perolehanpandapatan petani pinang. Oleh karenanya, tim pengabdi memberikan solusi berupa produkteknologi hasil penelitian yang mampu mengeringkan buah pinang dalam waktu 20 menit yangdi beri nama dehydrator betel nut machine. Pada implementasi pengabdian, kedua kelompoktani ini diarahkan, di bimbing dan diawasi dalam pengoperasian alat hingga kedua kelompoktani bisa mandiri dalam penggunaan alat teknologi. Proses pendampingan dilangsungkanselama beberapa hari hingga kedua kelompok tani buah pinang di rasa mampu mengoperasikanalat teknologi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode pembelajaran terstruktur denganbeberapa tahapan. Tahapan-tahapannya tersebut di mulai dari proses identifikasi kebutuhanmasyarakat, perancangan, pembuatan, uji operasi, pendampingan operasional, dan diseminasialat teknologi tersebut kepada kelompok tani buah pinang Maju Jaya dan Berkah Bersama.Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok tani buah pinang secarabertahap sudah mampu mengoperasikan alat dehydrator betel nut machine. Kemudiankelompok tani mengakui jika alat dehydrator betel nut machine mampu mengeringkan buahpinang dalam waktu 15 menit hingga 20 menit.

Abstract

The attractiveness of a tourist object is one of the important assets that must be owned in order to improve and develop a tourist attraction because the potential attractiveness of a tourist object is what attracts tourists to that destination. In order to make a tourist attraction acceptable to tourists, a mature concept is needed so that it can have a positive effect on the development of the tourist attraction, as well as for the surrounding environment. In Limau Manis Village there is a Batu Langkai Island Tourism Object. Previously, the existence of this tourist attraction had been managed by the community but stopped due to lack of funds, land issues, lack of knowledge about tourism promotion strategies, lack of information related to tourist objects, at several points there was still quite a lot of trash scattered in the river area and there was no place to capture the moment (photo spots). The service team collaborated with residents to make organic and inorganic trash cans, make photo spots, promotion strategy workshops and provide neon boxes for Batu Langkai Island Tourism Objects

Abstract

Indonesian language has an important role in conveying information clearly to the public and has a significant impact on strengthening national identity. This research is important because it provides insight into the extent to which online media journalists' competence in using Indonesian language can support efforts to strengthen national identity. This research aims to evaluate the competence of online media journalists in Riau in producing news using Indonesian. Researchers used a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with experienced journalists from various online media in Riau. Data was collected and analyzed to understand the practice of using Indonesian in the entire news writing process, from information search to final writing. The research results show that there is still a lack of optimization of the use of Indonesian language in writing online media news. Journalists tend to use regional languages in data collection in an effort to facilitate the operational stage. Meanwhile, in writing, an informal language style that is in line with everyday language is preferred to attract the attention of readers. These findings illustrate the role of Indonesian language in the context of strengthening national identity and highlight the need to increase the language competence of journalists in Riau.
