Abstract

Taxation learning in vocational high schools still faces various challenges, such as difficult material, limited use of interactive media, and low student motivation. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an interactive chatbot based on Landbot as a learning medium for Income Tax material for 11th-grade Accounting and Financial Administration students at a private SMK in Malang Regency. Using a Research and Development method at the implementation stage and a one-group pretest-posttest design, this study measured students’ understanding before and after using the chatbot through learning outcome tests. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test results showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in learning outcomes. The average student score increased from 67.41 to 91.30 after the treatment. This proves that the interactive chatbot is effective enhancing comprehension of taxation material and provides a more engaging and flexible learning experience tailored to the needs of SMK students.

Abstract

Abstract

Ponggok Village, Blitar Regency, is one of the papaya production centers in East Java with abundant harvests every year. Unfortunately, most papayas are only sold fresh without further processing, and even young papayas and their skins are often wasted. This problem continues to occur every year. Therefore, this community service program aims to empower the Lumpang Sewu Farmer Group through training in the production of economically valuable papaya products. The products developed include papaya floss, papaya chips, papaya candy, and eco-enzymes from papaya peels. The program was implemented through observation, preparation of tools and materials, product testing, training, and business evaluation and assistance. The results of the activities show a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of the participants, as evidenced by the pretest and posttest results and participant testimonials. All participants stated that they were 100% capable of producing the products, and 95% were interested in selling them. This program not only provides practical skills but also encourages economic independence and the sustainable utilization of local potential.

Abstract

Teacher digital literacy has become a key competency in supporting the successful implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) in Indonesia. This study aims to analyse the challenges, readiness, and implications of teachers’ digital literacy for the quality of learning. Employing a systematic literature review, the study synthesises findings from national and international research published between 2017 and 2025. The review reveals that teachers continue to face significant challenges, including limited technological infrastructure, generational gaps in digital proficiency, and insufficient institutional support. Teachers’ readiness varies widely, shaped by professional experience, access to digital training, and engagement in professional learning communities. The findings indicate that strong digital literacy contributes positively to learning quality by enabling interactive, innovative, and student-centred pedagogical practices aligned with 21st-century competencies. However, disparities in access—particularly in 3T (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped) regions—hinder equitable implementation. Strengthening teachers’ digital literacy therefore requires coordinated efforts across individual, institutional, and governmental levels. Enhancing practical training, improving school-level digital infrastructure, expanding professional learning networks, and promoting inclusive digital policies are essential to ensure that Kurikulum Merdeka can be implemented effectively and equitably throughout Indonesia.
