Abstract

The Islamic Sports Tourism Area is quoted from a hadith which reads from Amir al-mu'minin, Umar Al-Faruq Ibn Al-Khattab, Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi Wasallam said: "Teach your children to ride, swim and archery". (HR. Shahih Bukhari / Muslim). From the hadith, 3 sports can be taken clearly from the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely horse riding, swimming and archery. These three sports will be the main function in the Islamic sports tourism area. The design method used is a field survey and documentation as well as analyzing data. The results of the design take the formation of nature in general, namely leaves. The shape of nature is in line with the theme of this design, which is biomimetic architecture. In addition to the three main functions there are also supporting functions in the form of airsoft gun, all terrain vehicles, mosques, food courts, clinics, and retail. The Islamic sports tourism area aims to accommodate community activities and is the center of activities of Islamic Sports in Pekanbaru.).

Abstract

Kampar Regency is one of the regencies with a quit spacious aquaculture area with pisciculture business activities as one of the livelihoods of most of the people. Freshwater fish farming in Kampar Regency includes the pisciculture of karamba or in ponds. The request for freshwater fish production in Riau province is also quite high, such as catfish, carp, tilapia, pomfret and baung fish for daily consumption or industrial needs. The high request for fish production in Kampar regency cannot always be fulfielld. This is due to the failure of aquaculture caused by various factors such as climate, environment, pests and diseases. So to avoid the occurrence of these failures required skilled human resources and adequate facilities. Research and Development Center for Aquaculture which functions as a center for development, research and public education in advancing the community's economy, which includes a research center, laboratory and also commercial functions in the fisheries sector. In designing the Center for Aquaculture Research and Development, the Biophilic architectural approach is used. Biophilic architecture is a good relationship between nature, humans and architecture. The concept of the building takes the concept of "River Water Flow" as an implementation of natural formations by considering the three aspects ofarchitecture Biophilic into a single unit.

Abstract

Title: Typology of Malay Vernacular Architecture Uma Kabuong Limo in Pulau Belimbing Village, Kampar District   One form of residential culture can be seen in the architecture as a residence for the people of Belimbing Island Village, Kampar regency. The house as a residential function always develops according to the needs and image of the owner, so changes in the Uma Kabuong Limo building are found. Uma Kabuong Limo can be categorized as vernacular architecture because Uma Kabuong Limo is a product and name that has existed for several generations with a development process that adapts the socio-cultural and cultural of the Malay community. The nature of this simplicity is not only a residential building but also becomes the identity of the community. Through the study of the architectural typology of Uma Kabuong Limo was studied through the approach of the computational model of heritage building information modeling (HBIM). This modeling is expected to get an in-depth and precise analysis to describe the typology process more accurately. This assessment process begins with field data observation, modeling, and discussion of building typologies. The Uma Kabuong Limo buildings observed are six buildings representing the distribution of facilities in The Belimbing Island Village. The findings were the existence of a slightly different basic shape equation in the kitchen. One of the buildings changed the shape of the roof, called the paranginan roof, a multi-storey roof. The more engravings and tidiness of home making depict, the higher the level of the social status of the building owner.

Abstract

Clay soils are susceptible to changes in moisture content, often experience instability in supporting the load above it, and have a large swelling potential. This study aimed to determine the effect of using palm fiber ash and cement for soil stabilization. This research method is divided into 2 processes of preserving test objects: CBR without soaking (unsoaked) for 0 days and 7 days and CBR soaked (soaked) for 4 days. The mixture variations used were 10%, 15%, 20% palm fiber ash and 7.5% cement. The MDD value was 1.468 g and OMC was 22%. The CBR value without soaking the original soil increased from 10.34% to 18.05% at 7 days of curing. The highest CBR value was obtained in a mixture of 10% palm fiber ash and 7.5% cement at 20.30% at 0 days of curing. The highest CBR value was obtained in a mixture of 10% palm fiber ash and 7.5% cement at 57.34% at 7 days of curing. The soaking CBR value tended to increase from 2.21% to 31.02% in the variation of 20% palm fiber ash and 7.5% cement mixture. The swelling potential value tends to decrease from 0.312% to 0.062%.

This study conducted field observations and interviews with building managers, namely the Golden Shine Kendil Foundation. From this research, it can be obtained that all building elements are damaged so repair efforts are needed, both treating partially damaged and replacing building elements.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City in its development has gone through a number of periods of power in a span of more than two hundred years.
