Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan  adalah: (1) Mendeskripsikan bagaimana wanita menjalankan peran kepemimpinannya ditinjau dari kompetensi dan kepribadian; (2) Perbedaan pemimpin wanita dan laki-laki menurut bawahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawanacara, Focus Grouping Discus (FGD), dan observasi. Dua instansi dijadikan tempat pengambilan data dengan jumlah keseluruhan subyek sebanyak 11 orang. Hasil pengolahan data dari kedua instansi tersebut saling melengkapi sehingga didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: Kepribadian yang dibutuhkan pemimpin wanita yakni: harus memiliki juga sifat maskulin (percaya diri, tegas dan berani mengambil keputusan) dan adanya dukungan dari keluarga terutama suami. Disamping itu, kemampuan lain yang mendukung adalah management waktu karena harus berperan ganda yang keduanya berjalan bersamaan sehingga sinergitas sangat dibutuhkan. Secara umum bawahan tidak lagi memperdebatkan jenis kelamin seorang pemimpin, yang lebih utama adalah kompetensi dan kepribadiannya. Namun jika dianalisa lebih dalam, maka terdapat 2 perbedaan mendasar antara pemimpin pria dan wanita, yakni: a) Berkaitan dengan Kinerja; b) Berkaitan dengan EmpatiKata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, WanitaThe aims of this study are to describe: 1). Describing how women manage a leadership role in terms of competence and personality. 2). Describing differences between women and men leadership role according to the assistants. This study uses interview, Focus Grouping Discus (FGD), and observation. Two agencies used as a data collection with a total of eleven person subjects. Data processing results of both these institutions are complementary to obtain the following results: Personality required women leaders specifically: must have also masculine (confident, assertive, and bold decision-making) and the support of family, especially her husband. In addition, other capabilities that support are management of time because they have a double role, which both run concurrently so that synergy is essential. Normally assistant no longer debating the gender of a leader, more important is the competence and personality. However, if analyzed more deeply, then there are three fundamental differences obtained from the analysis of this study, namely: a). Related to performance: b). Abstract

Students of the Faculty of Psychology in the State University of Makassar during online learning perceived the learning activities not effective due to internet cost, burdening course work, colliding lecture schedule, and inadequate learning facilities. To complete the program, students need supports on the school's well - being improvement. School well - being has an important role in supporting students' learning development and motivation in receiving materials from the teachers. The study aimed to describe students' learning motivation and school well - being in the Faculty of Psychology, The State University of Makassar. The research subjects were 201 students of the Faculty of Psychology, The State University of Makassar. The research instrument was the learning motivation and school well - being scale. Data were analyzed descriptively. Findings show that: 1) internal learning motivation was stronger than external learning motivation; 2) highest scores given to the campus facilities/ condition aspects were from students' batches 2019 and 2017, while many of students batch 2018 criticized the point. In terms of Social relationships, students batch 2019 experienced strong interaction with their friends and lecturers, while students batch 2017 perceived it weaker, and students batch 2018 thought that they had very rare interaction. 3) Students feel that the school's well - being was inadequate, but their learning motivation is still in the medium category, and even the internal motivation was higher than the external one

Abstract

Motivasi belajar akan mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran dan berpengaruh pada nama baik kampus sehingga peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa merupakan kewajiban bagi tiap lembaga pendidikan. Motivasi belajar mahasiswa yang tinggi akan menghasilkan hasil belajar yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kuliah daring terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Aksidental Sampling, dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 206 responden dan 102 dari berbagai semester. (n=206, 86 laki-laki, 120 Perempuan). Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Motivasi belajar dan skala Kepuasan kuliah daring yang berbentuk skala Likert. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan Uji Regresi Ordinal yang didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) dan nilai Nagelkerke sebesar 0,038. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kepuasan kuliah daring terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa UNM di masa pandemi covid-19 dengan besar pengaruh 3,8%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan motivasi belajar dapat dintervensi melalui peningkatan kepuasan kuliah daring, semakin tinggi kepuasan kalih daring, maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Abstract. Unwise social media uses bring about some risk of fear of missing out (FoMO), especially for the adolescents who have been addicted to social media.  This research aims to examine the effect of affiliation need on FoMO among adolescent social media users, with self-confidence as a mediator. The research used a quantitative survey. The participants consisted of 385 adolescent social media users aged 15-18, domiciled in Makassar City, selected by using an accidental sampling technique. Data collection was performed by using International Orientation Scale (IOS), The Test of Self Confidence, and Fear of Missing Out Scale. Data analysis technique used a path analysis with an aid of version 8.80 Lisrel and version online Sobel. The findings revealed that self-confidence mediates partially the effect of affiliation need on FoMO among adolescent social media users (t = 2.14 > 1.96). Adolescent social media users should fulfill their affiliation needs as necessary and directly and build strong self-confidence so as to prevent FoMO problems.  Kata Kunci: FoMO; affiliation need; self-confidence; adolescent social media users

Abstract

Abstract. The sample in this study were 404 students, consisting of 116 boys (28.7%) and 288 girls (71.3%). The students involved in this study were aged between 15 and 18 years (M = 16.6; SD = 0.741), and the majority were from the Bugis ethnic group (76.5%). The selection of the sample in this study is related to the research objective, which is to focus on adolescents (high school students), so that the age range taken represents adolescence, using a multistage cluster random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Big-Five Inventory (BFI) which has been adapted by Ramdhani (2012). This scale consists of 44 statement items which are divided into five personality traits, namely extraversion (8 items), agreeableness (9 items), conscientiousness (9 items), neuroticism (8 items), and openness (10 items). Data analysis used in this research is descriptive and inferential analysis (Anova and crosstabulation). The results of this study indicate that there are 119 (29.5%) students showing a tendency of neuroticism, there are 64 (15.8%) students showing an openness tendency, there are 70 (17.3%) students showing a tendency to agreeableness, there are 69 (17.1%) %) students showed a tendency of extraversion, and there were 82 (20.3%) students showing a tendency of conscientiousness.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perilaku kekerasan yang sangat marak disekolah-sekolah menjadikan para guru dan kepala sekolah untuk mengevaluasi akan keberadaan sekolah dalam memberikan pesan moral dan juga proses pembelajaran yang optimal. Kekerasan terjadi disebabkan adanya kebutuhan psikologis tidak terpenuhi dengan optimal, sehingga siswa mencari pelampiasan dengan melakukan tindakan-tindakan kekerasan. Kegiatan pengabdian dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan tema “Pelatihan School Well Being dalam Menurunkan Perilaku Kekerasan Siswa di Sekolah” pada bulan Juni 2023 diikuti sebanyak 48 peserta yang berasal dari berbagai sekolah di bawah Yayasan Muhammadiyah di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan khususnya makassar. Cara mengukut tingkat ketercapaian keberhasilan dari kegiatan ini berupa pemberian evaluasi program menggunakan instrument berupa angket yang disebarkan melalui google form. Angket evaluasi yang berisi pertanyaan tertutup dan terbuka. Data diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil temuan yang diperileh menunjukkan pelatihan School well being menarik bagi guru dan isi materi pelatihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta, serta menjadikan peserta lebih memahami konsep school well being dan bagaimana penerapannya di sekolah.  Kata Kunci: School well being, Siswa sekolah, Perilaku kekerasan
