Abstract

During learning process in school, there are many factors which relate one another. They determine how well learning process can be achieved. That factors are teachers, students, curriculum, lesson, test, and environment. The purpose of this study is to solve a problem at students grade X 2 MA Miftahul Falah Pasuruan, these problems are activeness and learning outcomes with the implementation of learning model Talking Stick and Course Review Horey. This study had been done in two cycles where every cycle has 3 times meetings. Data obtained by observation, and test after the action. The result of this study shows that the implementation of learning model Talking Stick and Course Review Horey on economics subject can increase students activeness and learning outcomes in class grade X-2 MA Miftahul Falah Pasuruan. Students activeness at the cycle I obtained 58% while at cycle II students activeness increases to be 83%. Learning outcomes at the cycle I obtained 62% while at the cycle II learning outcomes increases to be 100%. Keywords: Talking Stick, Course Review Horey, Learning Outcome

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between talking stick and its impact on students’ activities and learning result. In addition the paper addressed to cope the existing problem in the classroom by implementing talking stick. The study followed a classroom action research using qualitative method. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of three meetings for each. The findings showed that both the students’ activities and learning result in economics experienced an upward improvement during cycles. In more detail, in the first cycle, students’ activities were about 65.36 percent and rose to the level 83.1 percent. The results on the completeness of students’ learning outcomes was about 52.94 percent in the first cycle and increased to approximately 92.16 percent in the next cycle.Keywords: Talking Stick, Students’ Activities, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Teachers have the task to guide and direct students to achieve competences that have been in decreed but in its implications there a lot of interruptions that retard teaching and learning activities, motivating students to follow learning low with the result that students not capable of absorbing a material that has been in maximum give in. This is also happening in Class XI Social 1 Senior High School of Salahuddin Malang, this is reflected in the number of students who cannot watch as teachers given the lectures, some students who play a cell phone, talking to myself with his friend and looks sleepy that resulted in score in social student class X1 under maximum. To overcome the problem teachers can use several alternative means such as presenting in a media kind of classroom learning and interesting that can be improved the motivation of student learning and up learning student. A model TGT chosen because it has some of the more can be foster attitudes showed signs of positive sentiments inside of students like, cooperation in the fields of, tolerance while the media of learning which he used of these tests are sparkol video scribe that can make it easier for teachers to pass on the information and will raise the motivation to study.  he kind of research this is research the act of the class in which should be implemented within two breeding cycles. The results of the motivation to study students at I cycle and II it can be concluded that increased rata-rata the motivation to study of 11 % of 64 % to 75 % and improve the study results of 25 % on 1 cycle of 62,50 % to 2 cycle of 87,50 %. Keywords: Teams Games Tournaments, Sparkol Videoscribe, Motivation, Study Results

Abstract

Problems on the research of this learning are the application of the talking stick of the learning outcomes of students of Class XI IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 2 Pamekasan. The population in this research is the grade XI IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 2 Pamekasan with totaling 22 students. Consisting of 15 male students and 7 female students. Data retrieval method using interviews, tests, observations, field notes, and documentation. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, whereas this type of research is action research class. The results of the research cycles I and cycles II suggests that indicators of success have been achieved, which includes an increase in student learning activities. In addition, the learning outcomes students also experienced an increase from cycle I to cycle II from 72.3% to 90.1%, with the achievement of the second cycle.

Abstract

The research aims at explaining the influence of modernity, economic literacy, and social environment on the consumption behavior of students. The study used a quantitative approach with the type of explanatory. The instruments in the research were questionnaires and written tests. The subjects of this study were 82 students. The results showed that (1) modernity had a significant positive effect on student consumption behavior; (2) economic literacy has a significant positive effect on student consumption behavior; (3) the social environment has a significant positive effect on student consumption behavior; (4) simultaneously, modernity, economic literacy, and social environment have a significant positive effect on student consumption behavior.

Abstract

In order to improve student learning outcomes of class X SMK Ardjuna 02 Arjosari on Introduction Economics and Business subjects one of them is measured through learning motivation, emotional intelligence and family environment. This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation, emotional intelligence and family environment on learning outcomes on Introductory Economics and Business subjects. The method used is quantitative explanation with population number 77 with sample using proportional random sampling counted 65 students. The result of hypothesis testing shows the significance of t test of learning motivation is 0,003, emotional intelligence 0,001 and family environment 0,004. While the f test of 0.000 on the learning outcomes. So there is a significant influence between learning motivation, emotional intelligence and family environment on learning outcomes on Introductory Economics and Business subjects.

Abstract

This study departs from the problem of learning difficulties that leads to low learning outcomes. Solutions offered are students and teachers knowing the location of learning difficulties to find out the factors that cause it and then find an appropriate alternative. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approach. Quantitative data resulting from the results of diagnostic tests and qualitative data questionnaires results through in-depth observation and interviews. Checking the validity of data using source triangulation techniques. The results showed the percentage of student difficulties in clearing keyword with the total difficulty 96,30%. Cause students have difficulty using foreign term / terminology, lesson time and teaching methods of teachers. Efforts that have been made to overcome difficulties students to ask friends, browse and ask the teacher. Abstract

This research was implemented because of the burnout and boredom Economics students to receive lessons because teachers only use the lecture method without any other study variation and only rely on one textbook as a source of learning. In addition, many students are reluctant to read the text book because the book is less interesting and too many posts. SMA Negeri 1 Panggul Trenggalek have been had some enough electronic facilities, but it not used optimally by the teachers in learning process. The E-Module research and development model used is ADDIE. Model with five steps, that is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the development of this Economics E Module involves the validation of material expert and media experts from Economics professor and lecturer who are competent in the learning media. In addition, the subject of the trial in this research are all students in Tenth Grade A that about of 32 students. The result of the research and validation of material expert and media expert shows that the Econimics E-Module on Money and Banking Material is fit for use. Based on the result of pre test and post test that was gave to students before and after using the Economics E-Module indicates that E-Module is effectively used to improve the students learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick on the subjects of Economics students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang, (2) to determine whether the application of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang.This research is a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. research subjects are students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang academic year 2015/2016 totaling 35 students. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, test questions, interviews, field notes, and documentation.The results of this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects. To increase students' cognitive aspects, can be seen from the pre-test and post-test cycle I and cycle II. At the time of the pre-test the first cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 2 (5.71%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 28 people (80%). At the time of the pre-test cycle II, the number of students who completed as many as five people (14.2%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 32 (91.4%). Overall, the average results of post-test cycle I and II increased by 6.5%. Besides being able to improve student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects.
