Abstract

Learning process is the most important part because it determines how well the outcomes will be achieved by students. In the Learning process, there are some factors which influence. They are internal factor, external factor and exhaustion factor. But in this research only concern on internal factors: learning interest and emotional quotient and also external factor: gadget usage. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of gadget usage, learning interest and emotional quotient partialy and simultanously towards learning outcomes. The kind of this research is explanation research with quantitative approach. Data obtained by using  quistioner and documentation. Questioners are given to the research samples by using technique proportional random sampling, the amount of the samples are 97. While documentation is used to obtain data about learning outcome at Economics Subject . The result of this research shows that there are significant effects of gadget usage, learning interest and emotional quotient towards learning outcomes. Each of independent variabel has significany effect such as: the effect of gadget usage is about 10,43%, the effect of learning interest is about 27,22% and the effect of emotional quotient is about 22,75%. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v11i12018p009

Abstract

Every human being has different consumption behaviors with each other. So that in the motivation and consumption strategies carried out by students also vary, there are students who think rationally and irrationally. This study aims to analyze the consumption behavior of students of class XII IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Singosari. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and for the collection of data sources using snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the study showed that there were some students in class XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Singosari in the motivation to consume rationally and irrationally. In addition, there are some students who plan in their consumption strategy.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 membawa pada sebuah tantangan global dan berdampak pada sektor Pendidikan. Kebijakan physical dan social distancing membuat aktivitas pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara daring dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dan media pembelajaran. Faktanya, masih banyak pendidik dan fasilitas sekolah yang tidak siap dalam menghadapi perubahan ini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada guru sebagai aspek penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan dituntut untuk memahami dan memilih metode dan model pembelajaran daring yang tepat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan melakukan diskusi grup dan pelatihan dengan memperhatikan protocol Covid-19. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini telah membantu guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan praktek pembuatan konten pembelajaran. Antusiasme guru guru sangat tinggi dalam kegiatan ini untuk membuat konten pembelajaran yang berkualitas bagi siswa. Kata Kunci: inovasi pembelajaran, pembelajaran daring, media pembelajaran. AbstractCovid-19 pandemic has been a global challenge and it has impacted to educational sector. Since the implementation of physical and social distancing, it drives to movement from conventional model to online learning activities by adapting technology. In fact, many educators and school facilities are not ready with this remarkable condition. This project aims at assisting educators in using online learning activities and providing innovative learnings to obtain same benefits like normal situation. This activity is carried out by conducting group discussions and training with due regard to the Covid-19 protocol. The results of the implementation of this activity have helped teachers in developing innovative learning and learning content creation practices. The teacher's enthusiasm is very high in this activity to create quality learning content for students. Keywords: Learning innovation, online learning, learning medium, students accomplishment.

Abstract

Increasing the quality of education has been a global challenge. The Indonesian government has responded this issue by reforming new curriculum that focuses on students’ activities and critical thinking ability. This study aims at investigating the implementation of synchronous learning with STEM and its impact to students’ critical thinking ability. This research adopted mixed methods, quasi-experimentally by using non-equivalent control group design research to gain a deeper understanding during experiment. The result of this work notes that synchronous learning with STEM slightly out performs the conventional learning activities and it can moderately illustrate the enhancing of students’ critical thinking skills. The introduction of STEM in social sciences, primarily in an economics course, faces some challenges and adjustments as well as its implementation using live synchronous learning This result suggests to more comprehensive planning and materials in adopting STEM in social sciences as well as an effort to increase students’ activities.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, STEM Education, Economics Students, Synchronous Learning

Abstract

This research was implemented because of the burnout and boredom Economics students to receive lessons because teachers only use the lecture method without any other study variation and only rely on one textbook as a source of learning. In addition, many students are reluctant to read the text book because the book is less interesting and too many posts. SMA Negeri 1 Panggul Trenggalek have been had some enough electronic facilities, but it not used optimally by the teachers in learning process. The E-Module research and development model used is ADDIE. Model with five steps, that is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the development of this Economics E Module involves the validation of material expert and media experts from Economics professor and lecturer who are competent in the learning media. In addition, the subject of the trial in this research are all students in Tenth Grade A that about of 32 students. The result of the research and validation of material expert and media expert shows that the Econimics E-Module on Money and Banking Material is fit for use. Based on the result of pre test and post test that was gave to students before and after using the Economics E-Module indicates that E-Module is effectively used to improve the students learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick on the subjects of Economics students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang, (2) to determine whether the application of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang.This research is a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. research subjects are students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang academic year 2015/2016 totaling 35 students. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, test questions, interviews, field notes, and documentation.The results of this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects. To increase students' cognitive aspects, can be seen from the pre-test and post-test cycle I and cycle II. At the time of the pre-test the first cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 2 (5.71%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 28 people (80%). At the time of the pre-test cycle II, the number of students who completed as many as five people (14.2%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 32 (91.4%). Overall, the average results of post-test cycle I and II increased by 6.5%. Besides being able to improve student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects. Keywords: STAD, Talking Stick, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

In order to improve the result of class X student of SMK Ardjuna 02 Arjosari on subject Introduction to Economics and Bussiness is measured through learning motivation, emotional intelligence and family environments. This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation, emotional intelligence and family environment on learning outcomes in subject Introduction Economics and Business. The method is used mainly quantitative explanation by the number 77 with a sample population using proportional random sampling as much as 65 students. The test results demonstrate the significance of the t test hypotheses learning motivation of 0,003, emotional intelligence of 0,001 and family environment of 0,004. While testing f 0,000 on learning outcomes. So there is a significant relationship between learning motivation, emotional intelligence and family environment on learning outcomes in subject Introduction Economics and Business. Key Words: Learning Motivation, Emotional Intelligence, Family Environment, Learning outcomes
