Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the third highest incidence of stunting in Southeast Asia. Stunting has various negative impacts therefore it is important to prevent it through public education. This research aims to understand the role of the environmental arena and social structure of society in stunting prevention education. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research analysis explains the problem of stunting through four environmental arenas and social structures that exist in communities in four cities or districts, including the educational, economic, cultural, and ideological arenas. By understanding the roots of the stunting problem identified through the environmental arena and social structure of society, we can identify effective methods for stunting prevention programs in the field, namely sustainable education based on local culture in all aspects of community life. Local Cultural Context: Understanding the local cultural context is crucial for designing effective stunting prevention education programs. Abstract

Background: Inclusive education ensures equitable access for students with special needs, yet implementation in Indonesia faces challenges like limited resources, insufficient teacher training, and societal stigma. Knowledge Gap: While studies examine teacher attitudes and institutional challenges, the role of government policy remains underexplored. Aim: To analyze the implementation of government policies on inclusive education. Results: Qualitative analysis revealed gaps in training and funding, contrasting with successful policy instruments supporting inclusion. Novelty: This study identifies disparities between policy frameworks and their practical application. Implications: Collaborative efforts among stakeholders and enhanced cultural support are crucial for effective policy implementation and better educational outcomes. Highlights: Policy Implementation: Gaps exist between inclusive education policies and their practical application, particularly in teacher training and funding. Community Perspectives: Societal stigma toward students with special needs remains a critical barrier to inclusivity. Abstract

Di era digital, dokumenter film berperan tidak hanya sebagai representasi realitas, tetapi juga sebagai arsip komunikasi visual yang membentuk memori kolektif masyarakat. Penelitian ini fokus pada film dokumenter Wayang Sarip, yang merekam pertunjukan wayang Jekdong sebagai ekspresi budaya lokal Jawa Timur di luar arus utama tradisi keraton. Tujuan penelitian adalah memahami bagaimana dokumenter ini berfungsi sebagai arsip visual sekaligus media penyiaran nilai budaya dan spiritual dalam perspektif Komunikasi Penyusunan Islam. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika visual dan observasi digital. Adegan kunci, seperti tokoh wayang Sarip, ornamen, tata cahaya, dan iringan gamelan, dianalisis sebagai unit tanda, sementara distribusi film di YouTube ditelaah untuk melihat bagaimana arsip ini diterima publik. Validitas temuan diperkuat melalui triangulasi dengan wawancara pembuat film dan telaah literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Wayang Sarip berfungsi sebagai arsip hidup yang tidak hanya mendokumentasikan tradisi, tetapi juga membuka ruang edukasi budaya bagi generasi muda. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan konsep baru, yakni dokumenter sebagai arsip dakwah visual, yaitu praktik komunikasi yang mengintegrasikan pelestarian budaya dengan penyiaran nilai moral dan spiritual dan film dokumenter digital berpotensi menjadi medium strategi untuk melestarikan tradisi, literasi budaya, sekaligus dakwah budaya di era digital. Abstract

The movement of geguritan (javanese poem) is not just a resistancemovement towards the general rule of Javanese literature. It providesconvenience for the community (in the same subculture) to understandJavanese culture easier. This movement refers to the 'whole way of life' or'maps of meaning' that makes this world understandable by its members.The word 'sub' connotes a specific, unique condition and different than thedominant society. Person who was born in arekan environmentor Suroboyoan often encounter difficulties when trying to comprehendMataraman Javanese. Geguritan is a manifestation of the ideas or creativitygenerated by penggurit (poet). In Surabaya, a group of geguritan authors isone subculture, that offers a new view, reinterpret the old view, andsometimes even break a single truth that have been taught long enough toJavanese community in Surabaya.
